Best park I've been to. Wide, spacious area with some beautiful birds. With new playgrounds and a separate dog pen which is huge, segregated away from the playgrounds, so you can let your dogs off the leash, without any problems. A nice board walk over the river by the freeway that contains wildlife such as ducks. A beautiful place on a sunny day. I definitely recommend this big, spacious park for your children to play, your dogs to run, even going for a nice walk or run. Great for picnics too.
Playground
The playgrounds are new from what I remember, growing up in the area. They're bigger, more variety of activities for children.
Dog-friendliness
A separate pen for your dogs to mingle with others, run free off the leash, without any issues from the public.
Picnic area
The whole place is practically a picnic area. There are a few park benches around the park to have a picnic on, but the grass under a tree is my number one picnic spot.

This was my local park growing up, but it has improved a lot since then. It's a great park with lots of space for walking or riding, and has great playgrounds for kids to play on too. The little lake that connects to the creek also has plenty of carp and eels in it if you want to do a little bit of fishing . It really is a great place but the downside is at times it can be a bit too quiet, which is probably why it is the preferred location for the recent cowardly attacks on women there. Do go and visit, but stay aware of your surroundings and be safe.

Nice level shared wide concrete bicycle and walking track, with some interesting natural diversity to look at while you travel along it. There is a good sized children's playground with quite a few things to keep them occupied, plus an undercover picnic table and seating area. There is a drinking tap for the kids here as well. A highlight for the area is the viewing platform near the freeway underpass, it has a seat and a plaque, showing the insects and wildlife you can spot from this location, and its well worth your time to investigate with a camera.

Great place to walk my dogs and a great atmosphere with plenty of directions to walk in. My 2 love it and love the off leash area which is large self contained area. But through experiences there its largely only ideal for medium to large dogs due to differing views and perceptions of a few dog owners re their Dogs social skills or lack there of and lack of control over their dogs. Nut a great place to go early mornings.

I found the walk interesting, and the path is well maintained. The toilet was disgusting. Also could not hear any frogs the whole time we were there, rename it to no frog hollow. I saw a few strange looking birds, but otherwise no wildlife around, maybe being next to the freeway is not ideal. It was not relaxing at all, I left feeling anxious and wanted to get away.

Beautiful children park and picnic benches. Relatively modern and large playing equipment (flying fox and group-cradle swing are the highlights. Flying fox seems to be broken lately, hope the council fixes it soon). Also there is a

Nice comfortable walk and you are able to decide if you want a short one or a long one as there are many variants and additions. If you go upto the Frog Hollows reserve from Gunns Road reserve, you can possibly do a 5km+ round walk

Delightful place with water and wildlife. It looks like someone is keeping the place very clean. We did the timber walk and loved watching birds frolic in the pond. Exciting to walk under the M1. Looks a great place to go walking.

So many trails to walk on which go forever. A huge lake area, small dog gated area but no drinking fountain which is probably my only complaint. Also a playground and heaps of grass areas to play with the doggies …

  • Doug McLennan

Well kept grass areas, good paths, plenty of trees for shade, and path under the freeway to Frog Hollow, another great park with waterways, tracks, birds and picnic area with playground equipment, barbies, and toilets.

  • Brian Falvo

We visited the fenced off dog park today. Great park that is clean and large enough for our med size dog to run around. Poop bags and bin provided by council. Our dog loved it, will definitely bring her back here.

The reason for not getting a higher star rating is mainly due to the fact that other people I have had a word ( or more) with is.. NO PUBLIC TOILET Doggy Park is not where we "humans" can wee …

  • savagepatty

Mainly spend time here when playing Pokemon go, but I can see a decent amount of playground equipment and even a small but long flying fox, oh man that brings back memories, I loved flying foxes as a kid.
