I call this the people's park, in the middle of it all. From here one can easily tell where is what part of the city. Close to the city center, Hilton hotel/SABC Durban, Durban station. Not too far to the beach nor the market or the municipality services areas. Most of all it's mostly clean and somewhat safe since the police office is nearby. Oh and THE WORKSHOP is right here for refreshments, some shopping and rest rooms

The park Gugu Dlamini was named after "Gugu" a women who was stoned and killed by community after she came forward and admitted she was "HIV Positive" The park is wonderful a good place to bring the family from kids to the older mambers of the family.the shop are clse by to grab a snacks while you chilling in the park,ice cream is available when the sun is hot,cold drinks and also music.

This park used to be one of the best parks in Durban, with beautiful flowers all year round. I haven't seen a single flower being planted in the past 3 years. It is now known as the most dangerous park in Durban full of "paras" who are harassing people on a daily basis. It is an eyesore especially to visitors both domestic and international.

Those African Base Drums!!! SATURDAYS I just escape to hear the beating of those drums. Talk about heat!!!... may God Bless Those Talented people for even in the Bible it speaks about those that multiplied their talents and those who buried them... #Workshop_Is_The_Place_To_Be

Place is great for that afternoon chill after you've completed all those tasks been sitting on your desk for days! Now it's that time to just sit by the bench and watch as the city goes up and down uncontrollably! Quite kwl ey! When you're outside the loop!

The place is in the heart of the city, after exploring durban city centre you can come sit and relax on the green grass of the workshop, doves flying and picking up left overs, viewing Hilton and City Hall while lying with your back on the grass.

A lot of activities going on from Michael Jackson performance. To BVD o Zulu traditional dance. One could never be bored in this beautiful park . Its also clean. The atmosphere is ok for kids. Chilling alone . Drinking with friends .

It's lovely place to stay with your friends or love one‍❤️‍‍❤️‍‍❤️‍ and safe. Most of people used this place cause it is in a center of DBN it easly & simply to found it …

this is a romantic place for couples but beware of street kids around or the homeless people, they tend to sleep under the trees and sometimes show up to you.

It an amazing place to visit. People are nice and the place has beautiful structures in it and it's a very low noise area for Romantic celebrations

You sit and relax at the park while feeling the breeze from the ocean and sometimes listening the songs played by different people, very nice place

I relaxed in the place under the shade of trees. There restaurants nearby so you eat and chill.. it's mind refreshing
