One the nicest Groundeds' I been in. Nicely laid out with plenty of seating. Although it was busy, we got served very quickly. The coffee was good, and the BLT I had was excellent. Nice flavoured bacon, very fresh salad, and really good bread. Food wise, this was so much better than any the Lounges I used over the past 18 months. More

Roast dinner was amazing., succulent pork, lovely roast potatoes and generous amounts of veg. The cauliflower cheese was the best I've had - very cheesy and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, friendly helpful staff who made sure we were happy with everything. Thank you Grounded for a lovely meal

  • Sara Bright

Met a friend her for lunch here and had a lovely time. The cafe was warm & welcoming, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and we had a staggeringly magnificent hot chocolate!! Hot mushroom soup with warm soda bread on a cold, windy but sunny day - fabulous!! I’d happily go there again

I really like this cafe/bar. The food is unpretentious, cooked well, good value and tasty.(we had burger and chips with a cup of tea). Staff are friendly and efficient. The ambiance is casual and welcoming- dogs are welcome too. The place is clean with space between tables. Good loos! More

Absolutely lovely cafe - brilliant and speedy service even though the cafe was busy. The vegan breakfast was fantastic - hot, tasty, a 'proper' cooked breakfast (but vegan!) Would venture to say best vegan brekkie in Brizzle! It was also large! Fab cafe and great atmosphere! More

Nice little cafe allowed the dog in. In fact there was loads of dogs in there. Food was as expected from a chain very reliable on the verge of actually quite nice. Food came out quickly and piping hot coffee wasn't bad either. Yes we cleaned the sofa after.

  • Matthew Gosling

Really tastey and quality cooked breakfast whilst waiting for car to be serviced down the road. Amazing atmosphere, quite busy for a Thursday at 9am, but still plenty of tables available! Wish there was cafes this nice every where in Bristol! More

2nd visit from Switzerland so it must be good. Both occasions have been for breakfast and both times it was superb. The warm and friendly atmosphere and top quality service at modest prices make this place a must visit on my trips to Bristol.

Solid place for a meal and a chat. The breakfasts were tasty and a decent size. Coffee was good. Pleasant atmosphere, child friendly. The service was friendly, and reasonably quick considering how busy they were. I'd definitely go again. More

I gave this place a few goes and it's a bit hit or miss. Once we had a very decent pizza but recently it seems like pizza got worse and food in general been rushed. When I ordered a drink and I received it in a dirty glass, had to ask for a

Due to open at 9am and no sign of the door being unlocked and opened and was outside waiting until 9.15am. Despite trying the door, standing outside and sitting on the outdoor seating in clear view of the staff who could see me outside. Was

The First and Last visit to any 'Grounded.' Had veggie breakfast and partner had full. Food was served like warm. I had possibly over half a plate of small fried potatoes one slice of white burnt toast with a lump of butter already added to

I love this place so much! It's been the go to cafe for my birthday and my kids birthdays. They were open New Years Eve and I booked a table for brunch to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday. They didn't disappoint! The staff are always so

Lovely cafe to stop for a bite to eat or drink. Outside seating area to enjoy the sun. Has a canopy to keep you sheltered. Toilets are very clean and modern inside. Staff are really friendly and bring your order to you. Relaxing atmosphere

  • Dylan Fairbairn

Decent food at best, but awful service. Got the feeling the staff were too hungover or just too incompetent to care. They all were loitering at the counter avoiding actual work and were just down right ignorant to me and my friends during

Stopped by at 9:15 on a Saturday morning for a delicious breakfast. The kids cooked breakfasts (not just for kids!) are great: your choice of 3 items plus toast for under a fiver. I went bacon, sausage, hash brown and wasn't disappointed.

Just tried out the new menu, Absolutely awful! Been going here since it opened and have never experienced anything like the food served tonight. The pizzas which have always been 12” are now approx. 8” and served on a plate. Had the fish

Took some friends out for lunch as one of them said it nice. Have to say what a gem the food was really nice the ugly burger was huge and very tasty if it had pineapple and beatroot been a 5. Such a great place for food and drinks. These

Had the Epic Breakfast and it wasn’t “Epic” at all unfortunately. The quality of food has massively gone downhill since last visiting a Grounded cafe. Woeful sausages and hash browns which were basically full of cheap mash and no grated

I have had lovely experiences in Grounded in the past. However, this visit was a little disappointing. My first concern was the lack of ventilation and that no staff members were wearing masks. The cafe looks really clean though and is

Good coffee and polite efficient staff I can't fault. However the cooked English breakfast wasn't by far the best I've had and my friend had to complain and send hers back. But if its just coffee and a snack you want you won't go wrong.

  • Charlie Kinloch

We ate here as 3 adults and 3 kids on a Saturday evening. The place was busy but there was a nice upbeat chatty and relaxed vibe. The decor was low key but charming, and the staff all seemed smiley and interested. The menu was nice and

Went to this pleasant cafe for coffee. Situated half way along Sandy Park Road to the left. We sat outside although there were tables available inside. The road is reasonably busy and you can people watch. The coffee was good and hot.

  • Alice Gray

Food is very good and the atmosphere is nice, didn't take very long serving us and very easy to find, lots of nearby parking. Do not order pizza over anything else, they're the smallest portions but the most expensive item. Definitely

  • Josh Smith

Ordered a vegan breakfast, I was given a breakfast with a fried egg and dairy butter toast (I knew it was dairy as there was also vegan spread and toast with the breakfast too) I let someone know about this and returned with the same

My recent visit to Grounded Brislington left me absolutely flabbergasted, and not in the pleasant sense. As a group of dedicated vegans, we entered the cafe hopeful of enjoying their plant-based menu, only to be met with a series of

Food was tasty, especially the kids' meals, but adult portions a bit on the small side. Confused that pancakes weren't available - they don't need anything special! Staff were okay but things like coffees seemed to take ages. More

Love coming to Grounded but recently in the evenings the music hasn’t been on and some of the beers are flat. It’s a shame because when the atmosphere is good and the beers are looked after it’s a great spot. More

  • Katie Newman

Lovely cafe/diner, cosy, clean and great music. Food is fantastic, me and my sister had a cooked breakfast and American pancakes and we were both very pleased! Staff are friendly and prices are fair :) More

  • Sam Fleischmann-Allen

Usually enjoy going but last couple of times have been poor. No music or atmosphere, all the lights turned up max, no tables cleaned anywhere and last two times both pints have been flat and warm. More

  • Marigold Manning

A lovely relaxed setting, where people seem to go to work or just chill, with decent vegan food. Dogs welcomed too! Don't know what it's like at night as I've only been there during the day. More

  • Lou Silva

Food and coffee could do with some improvement. Have eaten here twice, both times I left feeling disappointed. Last time had scramble eggs on toast, toasts were soggy with way too much butter

  • Martina Cotton

Had a great catch up with my old neighbour here on a Monday night. Great choice of food & wine. Great local cafe. So good to have a local option for dinner & drinks. Loved it. More

  • Simon Berndt

What a breakfast (lunch/brunch). Exceptional quality, served hot, good service. Great size, not a cheap breakfast but you pay for what you get! Thank you! More

  • Luke McFadden

Top notch veggie breakfast! Nice velvety chai latte too. Cosy, clean and well stocked. It's a little rough around the edges but I would definitely recommend.

  • Emily Rapoport

Good atmosphere, good for families. Service a tad on the slow side, but we went on a Saturday lunchtime. Food was okay, nothing special & bacon anaemic. More

  • Simon Pollard

Great atmosphere and lovely staff but the food can be hit and miss. Breakfast is usually a safe bet though Very toddler / baby friendly as well.
