I greeted the cashier, took my items out of the basket and bag them myself in my own bags just for him to throw my 87 cents change at me. This is the first time I had a bad experience, the man had no name tag but he's a cute Asian kid with glasses and those big studio headphones on his head. This kid obviously doesn't want to be here...
If you've ever been here you know, this is not a run in and grab that one thing I need kinda.place. plan on being here for 30 min or so at least. Some things are real bargains some, meh. Staff super polite. Pretty busy place but not a bunch of kids or vagrants running about like you're often dodging at some of the bigger chains.
It’s a wonderful experience to shop at Grocery Outlet. Any one of the amenities is reason enough to spend hard won American dollars there. Wine selection- OUTSTANDING! Oldies music gets me in the mood. The employees are happy campers. And lastly the selection is good as are the prices. A wholehearted shout from a rooftop!!!!
If you know GO you know what to expect. As most everywhere in SF, space is limited, so isles are tight and packed to the gills. Found some great organic, gluten free items, flour, cookies, etc. Their organic blue berries were half the price
Grocery outlet is one of my favorite places to grocery shop and find limited time values. I found plenty of stuff that was going to expire soon for deep discounts like 10 cans of organic lentils for $1 that normally go for $4 at whole foods
Ok for some things: milk, juice, some cheeses (always check expiry dates!!). Some of the vegetables are good (bananas, onions) others are hit or miss (garlic, packaged leafy green stuff). Evaporated milk is very low grade (filled milk, has
Simply a shopping adventure…each time you visit you have a chance of finding some bizarre/never-to-be-seen-again flavor combinations of your favorite products or quality produce you didn’t realize was so in season that GrossOut can sell it
Grocery outlet is a great spot for periodic deals. We mostly go there for the wine deals. It is something of a hot spot for that. We typically buy as preservative free as possible and if you read all they labels you can some natural stuff.
This is our local (closest) grocery store in the neighborhood. The people that work here are very friendly, helpful, and usually go out of their way to make friendly (but non obtrusive) small talk as you're checking out. The small parking
It was a huge mistake going there. Everything I bought was long past its expiration date. Old-tasting Bagels, Steaks so old that once I rinsed off all of the darkened blood, they took on an ashy greyish color to go with their foul odor.
Love the staff, hate the price gouging. Their eggs are more than Safeway, Sprouts and even Rainbow Grocery. I shop at the store a lot, as I live close by. I’ve noticed in the past couple months the prices are absolutely skyrocketing and
My husband and I aren’t strangers to the Grocery Outlet. We’ve been to many all over the area. The Geary location is by far the best one. Some of the warmest happiest employees and great products. We love to go in and just see what they
This is Grocery Outlet. You cannot always depend on consistent stocking of name brand products and finding every specific grocery item. This said, what they do have is solid and includes some great finds by way of organic and specialty
Went in for wine and beer; walked out with 3 bottles and a 12 pack. Selection of beer and wine for this this size and type of grocery store is above average with reasonable prices. Not disappointed in either product selection or prices.
Shopping at the Grocery Outlet on Geary has improved, but product prices, which used to significantly beat other retailers now seem to simply match the common sale price of those retailers. Gallon milk $4.49 vs Safeway $4.49 or Target
Grocery Outlet makes me enjoy shopping for groceries. This store has much better prices than Safeway and they always get new and different products in so it’s fun to go shopping here. Definitely one of my favorite stores.
Friday can be a positive day for Grocery Outlet, a low-cost grocery store chain. The store offers a wide variety of goods at discounted prices, making it an attractive option for bargain-conscious shoppers. O
Grocery outlet on Geary Street! Really these guys need more of a customer service training, first they need to smile, especially the guy at the wine department, every time you ask a question..
My parents love this place. Hash browns. Jimmy Dean sausages every other week. I get sliced cheese for sandwiches, dollar less than Safeway, onions, avocado, zucchini
Incredible rotating selections of a wide variety of foods, pet items, and, oh my, wines. The French wines are cheaper at GO than in a typical Paris grocery store !!!
Great discounted buys. Their produce and fruits are terrific. I come to shop at least twice a month. Got Frank's RedHots Bites BOGO! Spent $25 got $5 off. Woo-hoo!
The variety of this grocery outlet is really good. And of course, they have a great savings. The lines move quickly you're in n out in a flash if you want to be.
First time at this one I bought a lot of canned fish at extremely low prices (clams oysters) I rotate all supermarkets so I know average prices
This is one my favorite grocery store. This is grocery outlet with bargain prices. Staffs are nice and helpful. Come weekly to get best deals.
Fantastic resource to have in walking distance. Super priced on the basics. Impressive selection of inexpensive wines from around the world.
I love shopping here, amazing prices, great customer service, variety of products to choose from. Great wine selection , highly recommend
Always shop here. They always have great deals on vegan stuff that (I'm guessing) didnt sell at other stores.
I LOVE this store! Even though it is part of a franchise, this store is family owned, and the
It's ok...just look at the dates on the food and ur good to go if in date
