Thank God for Greathouse Trial Law, LLC. This firm deserves 100 stars. They took over my case after I had 2 horrible experiences with 2 other incredibly shady and unprofessional firms and willingly cleaned up the huge mess those 2 firms made. If you want an honest, classy, efficient and smart firm who takes the high road always, THIS IS IT! Attorney Greathouse and his staff, especially my Case Manager, Leontyne, made sure I was well informed of the good, bad, ugly and indifferent of my case. They were always prompt to respond to my emails and give me informed and honest answers, not feed me false hopes and pipe dreams. Again, they took over my case knowing the previous 2 attorneys had left a mess, which they normally don’t do, and we succeeded with a win. Their professionalism is unmatched. They never held any monies due to me, got me funds owed to me that the previous 2 didn’t even ask for and I’m happy to say thanks to them, this chapter of a 3 year long stressful case is finally closed and having this relationship surpasses any settlement amount. Mr. Greathouse accepted my case with the knowledge that the statute of limitations was very close. Then at the 11th hour he decides to drop my case for reasons he believed reduced my chances of a good recovery despite liability not being disputed. He was going to leave me high and dry until I notified him of my intent to file a bar complaint against him, so he did the bare minimum and filed the complaint on my behalf leaving me to represent myself. His paralegal indicated that my chances of getting a large settlement were zero to none, but thankfully I can report that he was wrong. I was able to secure a sizable settlement on my own even after Mr. Greathouse dropped my case less than a week before the filing deadline. It should be noted that I did not misrepresent any of the facts of my claim. I answered all questions completely and honestly. In their haste to snag what they believed would be a big-fish commercial claim, they failed to do their due diligence to select only cases they believed to be a good fit for the firm. As the saying goes, "Everything that glitters ain't gold." I do not recommend this firm.

As of right now this experience has not been the best.. actually mediocre. There is a lack of communication like so much of a lack i can’t remember the last time my case worker Jenisse reached out to me.. It’s been 18 months since my accident and almost 10 months since i finished treatment and still no communication! Every update I received has been because I REACHED OUT! And I’m not one of those people that like to bother so it would be months i would give her to communicate and still nothing.. i would have to reach out in the end to get any kind of update. Maybe this review will change who knows but as of right now it’s been two weeks since once again i had to reach out and just say let’s settle.. And still no reach out. Mind you the at fault party immediately took responsibility for the accident so I just don’t understand what’s the hold up. UPDATE they have reached out and turned this whole experience around! To BIG FOR ONE ON ONE… If you just want to be paid and like assigned attorneys and dealing with third party assigned case managers this may be just for you. My experience was completely different than the reviews… Charged me 33% and I only Spoke with my attorney (Carla Hines) one time and not in reference to my case. There after just constantly following up myself with the doctors and firms assigned case managers, I did the work myself (including the negotiations) and in fact I had to constantly follow up on payout just to split my funds with an attorney that never even bothered to follow up, reach out, and/or thank me for choosing this business. Not a great experience and I was referred by a reputable source. Never again, so disappointed!

When it came time to request payment from the other party, Torin negotiated in such a poor manner. He went from the initial demand and then 50% less on his first counter offer. My lost wages were not included and neither was the medical bills from the hospital. I am now receiving late payment notices from the hospital.
