What a shame! Prices were significantly higher these days so I had a little higher expectations from the new hotel. And had mixed experiences over the two days I stayed here. I’d like to openly share them hoping the place learns from this. Whilst I arrived rather late (9pm approx) the gentleman in reception was extremely accommodating and helpful with my needs, phone charging and all. Being 5 months pregnant and checking in due to emergency I’d was praying for friendly staff, and he was. He allowed me to have my talabat orders come to my room, and he was helpful. However, the next day was downhill from there, starting with the disappointment at breakfast, my 2 day booking wasn’t on the list which meant I my room confirmation wasn’t on the breakfast list, the lady checking could barely speak English and zero Arabic. I had a nightmare asking for a decaf coffee from the Starbucks coffee stand they have, she couldn’t understand what decaffeinated coffee was and keep repeating “teacaf” and holding up teabag box to me. I repeated several times I’m pregnant and would like a decaffeinated cafe latte please, waste of time. She understood nothing. Whilst eating breakfast at 9:30-10:15 the drilling and renovation works began in lobby. Extremely loud drilling whilst the 20+ of us were eating breakfast. I had to politely ask them to stop or I’d have to check-out immediately. They did! Later that night I ordered Talabat food to the room and security refused him to even enter the lobby, he wasn’t allowed to bring my order to the reception and we argued with the reception that the previous day was fine, was today wasn’t? I also requested additional pillow on the bed, and was told at main reception to call house-keeping. Which I called for the entire time and no one ever answered the phone, not room service, not house keeping and not operations from my room to request additional pillow? There are some very good staff working in the building who’re extra helpful at breakfast and in the evenings. The gentleman were all very friendly, but the ladies were not. Shame really! The bed was reasonable, not the most comfortable as it’s two twin beds joined together but was ok, AC was strong and hot water, next to the canal for a morning/evening walk. Parking in the basement but overall I’m afraid this is a 3*** budget category hotel. Ideal for 1-2 nights single person, business travels, people who just want somewhere to rest their heads and shower. There is a rooftop pool but closes at 6pm, and the hotel offers room-service but if no one answers the phone you won’t be able to have it.

موقع الفندق ممتاز و الفرش نظيف أقمت عندهم ٦ ليالي وكنت مع عائلتي فحجزت ٣ غرف و الخدمة رديئة جداً الإفطار محدود فى الخيارات و الكمية قليلة جداً و لايتم إعادة تعبئة المواد الغذائية إلا بعد تكرار الطلب من النزلاء و تعبئ بكمية قليلة و تنتهي بسرعة طبعاً و والعصير نوع واحد فقط و ينتهي حتى قبل أن تفكر بالحصول على القليل منه و القائمين على الخدمة شخصين فقط مما يسبب تأخير و إرتباك فى تلبية طلبات النزلاء و دولايب الملابس فى الغرف ليس لها أبواب و الخزانة مفتوحة و هذا شئ غير منطقي حيث لا يمكنك وضع أغراضك الشخصية أو حفظ أغراضك الخاصة بها و لاتوجد علاقات للملابس و لا يوجد بالحمام الأغراض الواجب تواجدها كفرش الأسنان أو الشبشب عدد مواقف السيارات الخاصة بالفندق قليل جداً و الإستقبال أعطانا مفتاح واحد للغرفة يستخدم لفتح الباب و لتفعيل الإضاءة و للدخول لمواقف السيارات مما جعل إقامتنا غير مريحة اذا تواجد شخص فى الغرفة لا يستطيع الشخص المرافق مغادرة الغرفة و الوصول للسيارة و عند العودة من الخارج يلزم جميع العائلة النزول للمواقف أو الانتظار فى اللوبي حتى يتمكن السائق من صف السيارة و الطلوع معنا فى نفس الوقت و ذلك كان مزعج جداً و طلبنا مفتاح آخر و الإستقبال رفض بحجة عدم توف كروت إضافية و هذا شئ غير مقنع

The place was terrible, we check in 11pm at night after completely my shift since it was close to the hotel, at 2am in the morning someone break our door completely and entered in our room while we were sleeping, he was completely drunk and he was out of his mind, tired to hit my husband and then run away. We complained immediately to the reception, they sent the security with the night manager “khaled” but he did nothing to him except changing our room, we were so panic and couldn’t take any decisions so we stayed in one room for 1 hour only and left the hotel by 4am, I live in Abu Dhabi so we literally drove all the way to Abu Dhabi at 4am in the morning because of this ridiculous incident, after all of this they did not even return our money so far, I even called them to take the details of the guy to open a case against him but they literally stop responding to us. I’m still in the process of getting my money back and get the details of the guy so I would definitely not going to stay in this terrible place ever, nor recommend this place to anyone especially families. Stay safe and stay away from such places. Thanks.

I hope someone reads this and changes their mind and do not reserve with these scammers now. would never recommend and of course not coming back .. whenever you reach to the hotel they surprise you with that security deposit WTH! Which they will stall to give back .. they will claim it’s in the hotel policy -which you have to dig 100 articles to find it- a classic scam .. I stayed in tens of hotels in Dubai and never have been asked for such a silly request anywhere else Their location is awful , you’ll have to go all around yourself to find them Then you will have to park in front of the reception because some engineering genius decided to make a narrow entrance blocking the parking .. so you will have to check in and watch for your car if making any traffic to go and move it then continue your check in .. and never forget , the worst hotel bed ever .. Oh one more thing ; bo late check out , although I checked in 4am in the morning .. Didn’t approve of 2pm late check out .. And BTW no closet in the room , just throw your clothes anywhere in the room.. no bathtub also , don’t get deceived by booking pictures.

We visited and stay in this hotel last December 2023 and we spent our Christmas here. Let start with the hotel security because she's the first one faced us because we have car, she allowed us to get in with courtesy. Reception., one of the best experience, thanks to Aldrin and Maria for warm welcome and very accommodating. The know what hospitality word is, for me two thumbs up with 5 star ratings for them ( the hotel should keep and take care of this kind of staff). Room, we choose deluxe room and quite good and view was good. The room was clean and nice when we arrived. Everything was fine but there's still a but because what I noticed to snack bar and fridge, and this is the first time I saw and experienced this and only in this hotel, there's a colour coding and price list for each item and for me it's kind a offended. I went to Europe and so many hotels here in Asia but only in this hotel I saw this. Thanks to reception team, you did a great job.

First the lady that checks you in has a very bad attitude and their manager is much worse. I found it very disappointing at the check-in, that they are taking up to 200AED deposit even tho they dont provide any mini bars in their rooms. Their Management was very disrespectful and stubborn regarding the deposit and even while ramadan time that almost all of their rooms were empty and they didn’t have any guests they refuse to extend my stay for 1 hour extra. The rooms are super tiny without any outside view and stinks! and their windows does not open. Except a soap and a shampoo they do not provide any other hotel items in their rooms such as dental kits, footwear, etc.. The shower was a nightmare, There was no cold water in the shower/washroom, there was only a boiling hot water even on the cold side! Aside from water being super hot, the showerhead was kept dropping not being held on the wall. I don’t even know how they got 7.3 out this rating. Oh and lets not forget about the parking! Warning for the people with low cars! the ramp on the exit might scratch or break your vehicle bumpers and etc..

The hotel is located in jaddaf and is a good place to stay for business trip or a getaway. Metro is at around 10 to 12 min walking distance Rooms are fine and parking is available Entry to the hotel parking is a little dicey as there are bot signs to enter and parking entry is from back side Staff is good and they gave us an upgrade also for Rooms Prices are quite good and reasonable and lobby is nice to chill also. WiFi is available throughout the hotel and pool is open on rooftop. Pool is only till 6 pm and suggest that should be till 7 pm atleast. Also the pool depth is 6 feet throughout so not possible to stand . There are restaurants in hotel serving American Cuisine and also another one with Lebanese cuisine. Food is good at both places. Breakfast should have couple of more items and some items did not seem fresh. All in all a good place for a weekend getaway or business stay.

Im staying to this hotel every week. The receptionist are good. And compare to other kingsgate hotel they are not asking 100 aed for deposit. Hotel is clean and confortable to stay. The manager rest assured to ask the guest if they comfortable after the check out. The price is very affordable . Only one problem that they dont have smoking rooms. So i need to go down from time to time.

To be honest, after I went through the reviews, I can honestly say that our 1 night spent was as comfortable as sleep, "the bed was relaxed and the room was quiet" amd I will not forget to mention that reception staff was friendly but the only bad thing was no cold water in the faucet (hot all the time).

i had a bad experience while staying in hotel kingsgate . They didnt inform me it was a non smoking so i smoked . this was a unproper uniformed event for me and they are asking for fine 500 dhs in the morning . they give me ultimatum like police or 500 dhs .this is how they are treating their customers by harassing for money .what the hell where they thinking. A hotel should inform what are their policies .right dont ever stay in this hotel they are harassing the customers for money.

It takes about 15 mins to do the check-in !! They are very slow, and the guy who works der he is rude , and I think he is tired from his job , plus when they do check-in they shouldn’t do any other thing or answer phones or solving problems wid other guest , needed more organization, and the parking basement oh my god ! They allow to park in anything and they blocked the entrance in a way , no enough parking slots , you guys should find a solution, at last the room key is nt working so I had to call someone to check the room lights , bad experience

I am a frequent guest in this hotel and today i was so embarassed by the lady in front desk saying that housekeeping is saying that one mug is missing what can I do with a mug of aed 1 When i asked them if we can go back to the room she changed and said not you another room!!!likae seriously? And that the pillows had stains so i had to pay aed 80, i paid that money but my question is, is this the way you treat your clients??? I am so disappointed in you as a hotel and a company .

Why you should avoid this hotel: -Very rude staff from the front desk until the workers in myst shisha cafe. -rooms are very small. -no toothpaste/brushs. -no smoking are inside the building even inside the cafe unless you pay 40 minimum - even if you want to smoke 1 cigarette - customer service is a big zero. - 1 access card for the room you will have to ask for the second one in a rude way. My advice : Avoid this hotel and get another hotel with the same price range and more facilities and customer service.

Bad experience with prices, since i came early i had to pay the full amount for 1 night with 600 AED although i took it one day ago from booking with 312 AED, it wrong way to charge me for full day and only few hours left for the day ! The reception guy was so unprofessional, I would say don't take this for any reason at all

Hey, I arrived at the hotel in the morning and waited until 1pm and entered the room. There were two rooms for 5 people and everything was fine until the evening. I entered the hotel and there was an Egyptian employee who saw 5 people, so he fined me 150 dirhams for saying, “You did not reserve the right for 5 people, and the reception in the morning was 5 people, but the Egyptian was very, very disrespectful, and a complaint was filed.”

I booked a room on the Hotel website. When I got to the hotel they told me they were over-booked and had no rooms available for me. They offered no apologies and didn’t offer to book me a room at another hotel. Horrible customer service.

It has the perfect three C's; "Calm, Cozy, Clean". Friendly staff. Parking in the basement. A bit far from Dubai center. I liked it.
