A very racist experience with an Asian lady working at the cash register. I am black woman. I was starving and shopping and the cashier started following me. I asked her if everything is ok, so said *shrug*. She was just SOOO nice to the white guy that was there when I walked in. So what the heck. She kept asking me about every move I made as I shopped. I felt the prejudice but I was so hungry and was going to give her my money anyway and say it's in my head. But at the register she asked to my face "What's in your bag?? You're stealing". She asked what I stole and put into my designer purse. Uh ma'am I make a lot of money and I was on my way to work and make even more. Black people don't only eat by stealing. At that point I left. Someone else wants these bucks. Sidenote: the white people around were definitely not allies. Ignored it all. Love this area . Edit: OMG I see another review about racism on here! A little bit of everything. There used to be a sandwich shop in the back, but now it’s an amazing pho and banh mi restaurant and I love it! The lady who runs this market is super friendly. She’s always here, and she knows all the locals. I like the beachy vibes of this place. It’s a perfect market to grab a couple beers before heading to the beach, or to grab a snack. Cigarettes and lotto sold here. Lots of free parking out front. There’s an alkaline water station here too! Great price to come fill up your jugs with really good water.

Expensive, beautifully designed market, selling nicely packaged foods. Most of this is neither GMO free or pesticide free, let alone primarily organic. If you need a quick bite and you don't care about the cost or the quality but you want it to look nice this is the place for you.

I don't care if they over-charge or that they never smile or say thank you. I don't care if the owner has a history of arrests for child molestation ( no arrests for the last six years). They have the best Cooked ham, with carrots and gravy that I have ever tasted, bar none.

Rude and racist cashier. Always watching me when I am shopping. Threw my change at me. The price said one thing and she said the price label was two years old she charged me a dollar extra. The store is very dirty as well it was a overall terrible experience.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. It’s racist and the selection isn’t even great. Only come here if you would like to feel harassed and like a second class citizen

Well stocked Liquor store and Market with a hidden gem in back... a quality take out restaurant. ASAP pho and amazing Bahn mi. Pick up a winning lotto ticket here too.

Super kind lady , very knowledgeable about PH balance in water , works very hard alone mostly . Great parking and cheap prices everything ya need for the beach ! ❤️❤️

It's a local little country type store.. Also you can get purified and alkaline waters. They also have a pho restaurant in the back.
