Nice to have some respite in suburbia, even if it's a narrow slice of greenbelt trapped between high powerline towers and housing developments. And down along the creek bed, it traverses over storm and sewer drainage lines... As usual we, John Q. Public, are "happy" to get the leftovers of Mother Nature - after the developers have had their way with her... Oh bother! Still, a nice, easy get-a-way for some Hill Country remnant of a sanctuary.

Would have been a 5 except one end of the loop is a steep grade and is not paved, rather it is covered with a nice cushion layer of mulch. There is only one loop, approximately 0.7mi with the unpaved portion being just over 0.1mi. Fair shade throughout with enough elevation change to become a challenge after a few laps in either direction of the loop.

We were hoping for more, but overall it's not a bad park. This is mostly a walking trail with about 3/4 of the loop paved. The loop is fairly short, my wife and I had to do two loops to make it feel worth the short drive. It wasn't busy with people so my wife and I felt like we had the park to ourselves. Overall not bad, just a little small .

This is a beautiful walking trail that is partially paved with the remainder cleared natural land. Though, it is extremely short. An avid walker may find the brevity lacking, but for a quick outing this is nice option. The end of the loop offers a bit of an easily traversed climb to get the heart rate up, but that's the only challenge here.

The trail has about 10 rocks to sit on placed in a circular pattern at the beginning of the trail. As well as a fenced port-a-potty. The trail is nicely paved a little over 3/4 of its entirety and is shaded about 50%. There are two to three big rocks to sit on while walking but no water fountains anywhere.

  • Russell Kenyon

Nice small park with a good paved trail for 80% of the path. Last half is mulched. If you have a physical impairment it might require you to double back on the paved trail as the final stretch on the mulched trail requires you to trek over two Rocky Creeks and then up a very steep mulched hill at the end.

Enjoyed geocaching in the park. We were here when there was no one around. Had the park and the trail to ourselves. I should have brought my walking stick as I did see a little coral snake from the distance but I was careful and waited for it to pass off the trail before I continued.

This park is thinning out and falling apart and it’s sad; at one point it was my favorite place to come, to the point I’d joked with my uncle that when I died I’d want my ashes scattered there. But, thankfully the dog bags are back, and so far, no homeless living in the trees.

I found this park on the map and I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a pretty cool loop to walk and take in the scenery most of it is paved but towards the end you will be going off road. There are parts that look like another world with all the rock and trees.

Quiet and peaceful, a beautiful place to take a stroll after dinner or before ending the day while taking in the scent of the outdoors. Trails wind through rock strewn ravines the paths are pine scented trees that add to the enjoyment of walking the path

This is a great hidden gem of a park! There are a variety of trails for everyone including wheelchair accessible trails! Great bits of nature, lots of trees and shade to help cut the heat. This is my new favorite walking trail close to home!!

A smaller , more private park in a neighborhood hidden off of Redland Rd. Perfect for a small picnic , or kids at the playground. You can still access the other part of the park trails if you just go and walk around the new fence they put up.

  • Juliette Reid

Small, but nice neighborhood park. Steep incline going either way on the loop back up to the parking lot. As a runner, I wish the loop was longer- I clocked in at around 0.7 miles per lap. This park would be best suited for walking.

  • Jeremy B.

Went here to take a walk. They have a nice almost entirely paved walking trail. The last part of the trail is gravel and a large hill. The trail I am guessing is near a mile. We liked looking at all the wildflowers along the path.

  • Laura Woodruff

Beautiful park. Different types of walking areas here can definitely give you a challenge. For those in wheel chairs or need paved walking this park only has paved area for about 1/2 a mile, then it's rock and dirt.

  • Darth Daddy

A 3/4 mile long loop with a killer hill at the end of its trail, or follow it out to the kids play park. Awesome trail and park. Very quiet and calm and very relaxing, I think this maybe my favorite park yet.

  • Gerald Haley, Jr.

Nice little hidden gem. It’s a loop-park for a walk with your dog. 3/4 of the park is concrete, the rest is mulch. Avoid after a rainy day, as park may get a little muddy.

  • Amanda Moore

We could not find the playground here. The mostly paved walking trail was beautiful. Many wildflowers in bloom in May. The kids enjoyed exploring the dried riverbed.

  • Luis Duarte

Beautiful park for a short walk/hike. Half the trail is paved (less than a mile). Path is well maintained with signs and markers. A nice place for a quick hike.

  • Sylvia Soto

Short intense trail. Takes about 15 min. To go around but before you to the end you are in for a surprise. Walk 3 floors of mulch to get to your car. I love it.

  • Eve S

A short trail for you and your dog to enjoy or just to get your steps in.

Great place to walk your dog.

  • Bhaskar Reddy

Nice place to walk and explore the little wild next to the beautiful residential community. Kids will enjoy the walk and a play area next to the park.

  • James Johnston

Great place if you love to hike. But make sure you take real hiking boot or shoes as the trails are very rough and tennis shoes will not cut it.

  • Marie Danysh

This is a neat little park. It took about 15 minutes to walk it. We saw deer and walked through the creek. The party is half paved, half mulch.

  • Carlos Flores

This is a great park. There is a paved walkway that extends for about half a mileand it wheel chair accessible. Lots of greenery and beautiful.

  • Cef3netzero

Great little walking trail in town but be carefull walking small dogs or toddlers. Have see several scorpians and today there was a cayote.

  • Paul Sharp

They have a nice paved trail that winds through a wooded area. You can still hear some road noise but the birds help drown that out.

  • David Nicholson

A nice short trail loop, partially shaded mostly paved with a short unimproved section. Good for walking your dog or running laps.

Nice quiet small parking. But at right time of day. Great place to park and be alone with a friend. Not a lot of traffic.
