I stopped here to eat my lunch after going through the fast food drive thru. I parked and sat in my car to eat then looked over to see an overflowing dumpster!! It looks like people are using the parks dumpster for personal use. They need either a better gate around it or locks...it's a shame to see all that trash and even furniture outside the dumpster and intruding into the parking lot...As far as the actual park goes it looked mowed and well kept by the City Of Tampa. Maybe a good place to bring kids to play as there did not seem to be any scary looking people hanging out there..just not a good choice to park to eat lunch as the view of an overflowing dumpster does nothing for your appetite!!
Second time coming to this park and the water portion of it is off, I guess it's being repaired. Unsure if the bathrooms are open be because where the park says they're located there are one too many unscrupulous characters, "meaning people without children just chilling" here sitting & watching, so won't be visiting again. Park area is for smaller children under 8.
Wonderful park shaded by huge old oak trees. The play structure is in nice condition and there is a marvelous splash zone, basketball courts and a small soccer field. The bathrooms were open and only a little bit trashed. The main (minor) negative was the amount of litter scattered around. A shame people can't take better care of their own neighborhood park.
I enjoy time here with my boys. While the atmosphere is very nice I won't give it a five star because of cleanliness. I believe if people clean up after themselves it will fix the problem. It's not extreme however obvious water bottle or chip bag left behind. Now other than that it's a great little water park hidden within a beautiful community.
This is the perfect park for my boys! There is a playground, splash pad, swings, basketball court, restrooms, shelter, and pavilion. The park is clean and very well maintained, including the restrooms. Lots of beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade. Parking lot is a decent size. Kids had lots of fun. I definitely recommend this park!
Giddens Park is a relatively small neighborhood park where families go to play, relax & mingle. The playground equipment, water pad, & basketball courts are all very popular. There are lots of shade trees, ample grassy areas, & plenty of picnic tables. The restrooms & entire park are well maintained.
This park has a small splash pad and a decent size play area with playgrounds. Seems kept up fairly well. However, there was a group of shady looking adults hanging out there when we went, and the park is in a sketchier part of town. Nothing bad happened, but use common-sense caution.
Our Seminole Heights dog park. We take our dogs everyday, weather permitting, for a romp in the park. It is large enough for your dogs to exercise but small enough where they don't get lost. Generally clean and well maintained with the grass getting a little long on occasion.
Because its a beautiful spot to go to with the kids. It has a playground, waterpark, dog park and a basketball court. So you never run out of fun things to do. Oh yeah it has a shelter and a gazebo. Plus it has a huge field it you wanted to play volley ball etc.
Splash pad is nice. Simple and clean, but open. No shade on that part of the park. The playground area has a little bit of trash and needs a paint job but it is nice and shaded with 4 swings for smaller kids and 4 swings for larger kids. It
I think everyone loves giddens! Everything from the water splash on the endfor the kids.(Which is a GREAT wait for them to cool down!) Nd IT'S FREEE! To the one shelter that almost everyone reserves for parties, to the gazebo, which was a
Great little park. Has a water fountain for youth to play in during the hot summers and a padded playground. There is a gazebo, restrooms, a pavillion w/ a grill, a soccer field, and basketball court. Across the way is a fenced in area
Dropped by for dog park and to use the bathroom. Restroom was closed for repairs. Dog park had water, nice shade trees and benches. Nice lady and her dog were great at respecting covid regulations while still socializing.
Nice tree-covered space for the playground but the playground is old and rusted. The splash pad is nice although very small. What I disliked most was how much trash and broken pieces of toys and glass all over the park.
Nice splash pad for cooling off, card games can always be found, could use more amenities. Dog park area is across the street, plenty of room to run off leash and oak trees angled so dogs can climb if they're into that.
Not the cleanest jungle gym but this is a park in the “hood” area of Tampa so they don’t care to keep it clean clean. The park grounds didn’t have any noticeable trash and there is a basketball hoop here.
The splash pad wasn’t working when we visited. I think it only operates during specific hours, but they aren’t posted anywhere. The park is clean-ish. Everyone we encountered was friendly.
IF IF IF ITS ITS HOT BLAZIN FLORIDA HEAT go there for the kids for the little water area for the little ones only or you wanna get balled up I recommend the soccer fill or the BBall courts
Needs to be cleaned up regularly Its sad how people just throw the garbage on the ground an The sprinkler water cycles around an Alot of homeless people bath in there.
Nice relaxing park, plenty of shade

So the park is decent and not big. The problem was everyone smokes weed there! People are friendly though and were sharing their water balloons at the splash pad.
The children love the water park area, playing basketball with their Mom. It's very well maintained and so clean. We visit the park at least twice a week.
Spent a hot Father's Day with my nephew at the water fountain getting wet. It's a peaceful place for the kids to play and to have family events.
We love this little Park. It has water squirting out for the children to get wet. Nice playground. Good place for the guys to play basketball.9
You can just smell the chlorine coming from the water works. It's safe to play there. Park is well maintained too. Thank you!
Closest dog park to where I live (South Seminole Heights). It is spacious, lots of room to throw balls and to run around.
I've been a fan for years! Great pineapple water & Tostadas. Taco Salad is absolute the best & can easily feed 2/3 ppl.
Small park, but don't let that discourage you. You're still going to have a great time with your kids, regardless.
Lots of great trees and space for my dog to run around. Also has a water park area and a playground area.
Nice to have a restroom or changing station close to the water part other than that it's a decent park
The good: they have a waterfall thing that the kids can play in and there is a nice size playground.
Dog park is nice, good size for the area. Could use some more trash cans and dog clean up stations
Great park for the kids lots of shade for parents...my kids love this park and I kinda do too lol
Nice public park with a playground, a water feature, and picnic tables.
People play soccer and basketball during day nights I rather stay away
I had a fabulous time playing with my kids at there water park
