Having tried many of the "bigger" bike shops around and being left disappointed with their service I went to see Ross at Jones cycles one day. The team there are friendly and extremely helpful, their sales and service is exceptional. They even helped us out with a bike we had purchased from another shop - and they didn't have to do that. I used to be one of those guys that would shop around but now I know I don't need to, as I know the team at Jones cycles will sort me out. They are female friendly too which is something my wife found refreshing as she was treated like a dumb blonde at some of the other shops around. I'd highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for that personal service and not that "supermarket service" you get elsewhere

Guys I'm local, I recognise and value the need for an LBS, and want to give you my business. Im a returning customer for purchases and servicing. But I'm still narked at being charged $60 last week to true (only) two single speed wheels that didn't even really need it. Thats OTT just to tweak a couple of nipples... For reference, I took another single speed bike 1 week later to a shop in South Yarra and got the bike an allover service (including wheel truing, hub clean / relube and also a cleanout / relube of the bottom bracket) for their standard price of $65... I really like you guys, but with 5 bikes those job prices are going to add up. Sorry to say you might be emergencies only for me from now on. :-(

I shopped at Giant Frankston the day before Christmas and I have to say the staff were extremely helpful, especially the owner Ross who was the kind guy who served me. The phone was ringing, the shop was buzzing with customers and I had no idea where to start looking for what I needed (my husband is a bike enthusiast and I'm just a supportive wife with no real clue about it all :-D ), however, with all this going on, Ross was friendly, professional, attentive and super calm at what is one of the busiest times of the year! Thanks so much to all for making my shopping experience pleasant and easy. I'm sure we'll be back again and again.

I bought a giant talon E+1 for $3400 in June 2023, by August it had broken a spoke in the wheel with only six hundred km on the odo, took bike in and was told it would be repaid for free, apon pick up Ross tried to charge me $50, turns out the spoke they replaced was just anything they could find not even an E bike rated spoke, finding this out when it broke again and took it to another bike shop, I was spoken to like I did not no how to ride a bike, utterly disappointed in there after sales service, definitely will not be returning or purchasing anything here at giant Frankston anymore, you lost a customer, can't even fix a wheel

I was riding into Frankston when I got a flat tyre. Sadly I had forgotten to bring my tyre leavers. The first place I went was to Jones Cycles. I asked for a pair of tyre leavers and a guy showed me the tyre leavers they had. Sadly they only had one kind which was fairly expensive, but he offered to lower it for me. And as I was fixing my tyre he also offered me to use their pump. Very kind employees.... I will definitely be coming back... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks- Jozef Djeri

Had my name down since October for a bike they were ordering in. They got some in around Christmas however I never got a call so I missed out. I drove down there recently and offered to pay a deposit on the next lot coming in. I was told this wasn't necessary and that my name was down for one however I have missed out again! Very disappointed as now I'm heading away in a few weeks without a bike! Cheers...

The team at Giant Frankston are outstanding. They are really professional and very knowledgeable on all things cycling. They also have a heart. I recently asked them to help fix 2 bikes that belonged to African migrant children. They were more than happy to help at no cost. I have been a return customer for 10 years and will continue to have this shop as my preferred cycling retailer. Thanks team!!

Despite the challenges of the current lockdown, Trent went out of his way to help me today. Just good old-fashioned customer service. Anthony the mechanic has helped me out in the past with some wiring issues on a Di2 setup and he's also a great wheel-builder. Good to see the shop-local vibe is still there even after the Giant re-branding.

HANDS DOWN BEST PLACE TO BUY A GIANT FROM... I went in looking for a bike for my Austistc son who had a clear vision on what he wanted. The team was so friendly and understanding of his visions, polite and so very helpful. Not to mention they allowed me to layby a sale item which they dont normally allow. HIGHLY recommended

Such great service from this shop! Their mechanic is definitely the best on the peninsula. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the shop also supplied everything I needed for triathalons and the guys there, competitors themselves, gave me some really helpful advice. Definitely worth a visit!
