This is a nightmare place. I mean it. We tried to book a late night room same night, even selecting a 12:30 am check in time - but when I called to confirm, the man at the desk angrily told me that there was no such thing as same night booking, and that I would have to come at 3 pm the next day. I spent the next 12 hours trying to figure out how to cancel the booking, calling back twice, and they yelled at me and told me that there was no way they could cancel the booking, that I needed to cancel through the site I’d used (though I had booked directly through their site according to their own confirmation email), and that my only option was to dispute the charge with my bank. Do not stay here, do not try to talk to them.

I would have given it 4 or 5 stars except that the motel is in a renovation phase or is still be built. Either way I had to leave the lobby walk around to the side and enter thru the laundry room in order to get to the stairway to walk up to my floor. The lobby isnt finished and therefore the elevator isn't accessible. Most likely because the elevator was installed yet. Idk. The room was nice, clean and spacious. Better than the other venues in the area by far! The rooms say no smoking, but there were clearly smells of cigarettes seeping into my room. And if there wasn't any smoking then they should encourage it by placing ashtrays in the rooms. ‍♀️... But over all, it's a clean space, spacious and they offer short stays/hourly rate.

Galaxy Motel suddenly stopped taking debit cards. We went in today after previously coming and the price went up and they no longer take debit cards even with you showing proof of ID. Which is now part of the new policy along with the prices going up. I went to use the ATM which did not work and got charged $140. The front desk was very dismissive about the charge and the inconvenience of having to wait. He lacked empathy and provided no assistance as we waited extremely tired. No one was called for assistance and we were just told to wait without any explanation. The person behind the desk resumed to play on his phone as we waited without further explanation.

The room itself looks nice but the room we stayed in the floor looks like it hadn't swept in 2 weeks, the refrigerator the microwave oh gosh dont get me started and the sheets had hair on them was dirty. So I went to the front desk and the guy told me I had to wait for the cleaning rew to come in 830pm for them to clean the room. So we went to the store and bought cleaning supplies, wiped down everything except the floor smh. Again the room itself is nice but the cleaning people are not doing a good job keeping the rooms clean at all.

This motel is the wrost I've ever been too, I feel like something was crawling on me the entire time. There was no wash cloths in bathroom towels only. And I truly believe it was a motel for prostitution, when i turned the tv porn was on several of the channels. The door latch was missing had to put chair under the door, did not feel safe, couldn't get money back it was non-refundable and management was rude. Needless to say this truly turned me off won't ever come back.!!!!!!

Very disgusting, the room smells, walls are dirty. Bed bugs on the chairs & bed. I felt really bad a friend stop in NY for just a few hours & that was close by the location they came to shop a few items. Never again would I recommend this place. Need to be shut down by the city. What kills me is that, these places make money, why not spend some money & keep up the standard of this place, only nice from the outside.

It's now a shelter, when it was a motel my experience wasn't pleasant, the rooms always have a disgusting smoke smell, though I'm fully aware who uses this motel, I'm of the opinion the smoking in the rooms should be fully controlled

Do not be scammed! This hotel was a shelter for the homeless and is used by the local ladies of the night. Very dirty and run down. The place smells of smoke and narcotics. Do not believe the fake ratings. There is no dining or breakfast option, or room service. Very disgusting rooms. BEWARE!

Bad 2 janitor open my room door and come in on me I was so scary I shouting who is it them said they was sent to clean up my room hey this is a sleep over .I grab my stuff and ask for a refund and get the hell out of there iwent to another place but couldn't sleep I was not over what happens

The rooms get a 4 due to blanket had couple of holes. Needed more pillows. Location is good because of all the places to eat from and easy transportation. Upside the entrance of the parking lot is too narrow.

The bed covers was yellow the towels we had in the room was yellow we had no face rags the walls was dirty when we first came in the lights was already on and it smelled like the shower was already on only thing that was nice was the bed with out the covers or pillow cause it was yellow

To call this a ‘fleabag’ hotel would be an unconscionable insult to both fleas and bags everywhere not to mention the racist staff deny me a room but when my white friends came they got in never in my life would i visit this hotel again they dnt like black ppl at this hotel

4 hour hump motel. In the heart of what use to be affectionately known as "the Track" or the "Hoe Stroll" people come here to hump not to sleep. If you're not street wise or familiar with life in the hood stay the hell away!!!

This was one of the most uncomfortable, bizarre, and dirty hotels I have ever stayed in. There is literally a flyer on the entrance disclaiming if you are a prostitute to go away, just uncomfortable and weird.

I want to give it more stars because the room looks good and clean but the older man at the receptionist desk is rude.
