Brought my front diff in years ago to get a air locker installed. They installed it right away, i believe it didn't even take them 30 min. The price was cheap and they did it fast so I was very happy at the moment. I really thought that they knew what they were doing since transmissions and gears is all they do, or majority of their work. Tried to use the front diff locker a month later in deep snow on lake Winnipeg for ice fishing but ended up blowing the diff. Opened the diff and found the ring and pinion in thousands of pieces. At the moment i thought I had used the front diff wrong or did something that I shouldn't have and blew the diff. Had a hard time finding a new front ring and pinion but eventually got it. Took the diff to a different shop that was recommended to me. Went there and dropped off my diff. I was told it will take them at least 3 to 5 hours to install because they have to go over everything and make sure everything is good. When I picked up my diff, i was asked where in the hell I got it installed the first time. I told them where and how long they took to install it. It turned out that the diff locker was installed wrong, not shimmed/centered and that is why the gears got chewed up. I was insured that no matter how careful I would have used the diff it would have left me stranded. Update: I'm posting the experiance I had, not sure why it matters when anyone posts.

I was very impressed with the quick response to getting our repair done. I called and spoke with Wayne and was told to bring our car in for the next day. Wayne called back next day after looking at the car and said the problem parts were not what we thought and advised on only one of the parts be replaced. I agreed to Wayne's recommendation and very glad with the result. The repair was done quicker then expected and with less parts to change bringing the total cost of repair down considerably. When I picked up the car Gord went over repair with me and the reason they did not need to change out all parts as initially estimated. Dropped a flat tire and rim off to be replaced with a new one and didn't get it back for 4 hours. The rim was also covered in mounting grease when returned to me. My roommate got his tires done the same day at a different place and got all 4 replaced in 90mins. I forgot to add that I made the appointment a day prior so the service is super duper slow and the owner will cry about a fair review of 3 stars after. So now you get 1 star. ✌

I got my vehicle towed here after hours. I went in the next day to see they had taken my kayaks off the roof racks and stored them in their yard and were already working on my vehicle. The mechanics I spoke to were very knowledgeable and forthright. Considering I am from out of town they made accommodations to finish my vehicle ahead of schedule. I would 100% recommend this shop to everyone. Excellent service.

I recently called and described what I thought was a transmission problem. The polite employee quickly eliminated the transmission as the source of the problem and provided a simple over the phone fix which solved the problem. This is the second time I received trusted information from this business which avoided costly unneeded repairs. This business appears very trustworthy.

my car has very unusual and rare trans from 1966 ford.built with parts from 2 types of transmissions.1trans shop had no clue what they were even looking at.these guys fought with it for a couple weeks and got it right!! great price too.if i could give them a higher rating i would..not many good mechanics that can work on these old rare cars anymore.

This is a great mechanical shop, a little out of the way, but the workmanship is second to none. The owners are members of the local Racing scene and are experienced to the Nth degree. Just had my 69 Impala in for transmission work, she's running great now. These folks know cars and trucks inside and out.

Had my Toyota highlander front right CV boots and axle replaced today. Price is reasonable. Staff are friendly especially Buddy, he is honest and explains steps and things clearly. Convenient location. Glad to find this auto repair shop, will definitely visit again if my cars have any problems.

Gord and Wayne are awesome to deal with. Work gets done quick and they offer tips and suggestions to help if you plan on doing some work yourself. they set up my front locker, replaced axle bearings and seals and finished my auto transmission. helpful and honest. Thanks guys!

I've been going to GW for 4 years now and have never had an issue. Rates are half that of my dealership and I've never met friendlier mechanics. They've looked at my car for free if I've ever had an issue and the service is lighting fast. I really recommend these guys.

I thought I was looking at a new clutch. Gord the owner, performed a road test and did an engine diagnostic at no charge (something the dealership wanted $140 for). Gord found the problem and had me on my way in no time flat. Highly Recommended.

After spending 2200.00 in transmission repairs my truck did not even make it home without failing. GW would not do anything about it. Said I was not their problem and to take it some where else.Nice ! I will never be back.
