Unfortunately, one of the worst experience at our favourite grocery store. I have been going to FreshCo from last 6 years at different locations. From 2018, I started to go to FreshCo at Robertson Rd. for grocery needs of my friends and myself. Throughout this time, the experience had been overall positive. It was our favourite grocery store with very diverse range of grocery items starting from fruits, vegetables, to pickles, and meat products (and a lot more). Throughout this time, we never had to bring back (report and return) anything due to any major quality issues. One of the items that we would buy were the Bananas. We would go to FreshCo every week or so and would buy some green bananas which would turn yellowish in the following week and we would consume them. This streak of wonderful experience ended on last Wednesday (dated: 2023-03-01) when we had our worse experience at FreshCo when we had to talk to the store manager to discuss the quality of the bananas that we bought (a little over 2 weeks ago, dated: 2023-02-11) and possibly return them. The bananas did not turn yellow even after waiting for extended period of time (We waited longer to ensure that there was really something wrong with those bananas. Attaching a picture of them with this review. The picture was taken at the time of writing this review and the bananas were still green). Our goal was to provide feedback of the bananas that were sold at FreshCo. and our expectation was that the store manager would take responsibility of quality of these bananas, would forward the feedback for better quality control, and would take the bananas back. I requested the manager to inspect the bananas. However, the response was quite the opposite and unbecoming. The store manager completely failed to listen to us and ignored to taken any responsibility completely. The store manager also refused to return the items stating that the return policy was 14 days. The response was very negative in a way that whatever I would say, the store manager would respond with one sentence that i.e. "it has been over 14 days". I even asked to provide me with the phone number of the customer-service/management and the response was still the same i.e. "it has been over 14 days". I was completely disgusted with how I was treated by the store manager and I left mentioning that I would write a review on this. The store manager responded with "You can write a review but it has been over 14 days". There was no meaning of the conversation after all this and I left. I wished the customer service was better at FreshCo and I hope that this is just a rare event. I have planned to forward the same feedback to the FreshCo. customer care/management.
Edit: does not follow COVID precautions. I actually have stopped shopping here permanently at the flagrant disregard I've seen for staff not following proper health and safety policies. Lack of sanitization, masks improperly worn, it's bad. Continuing on line-ups are out of control some days, I literally had over 20 people in front of me one day. Stock is inconsistent now. Also, not really a fan of consumable food/water left outsode the store in both +30 and -20 weather. Good location. Let me get my one grip out of the way - cashiers...there are never enough. I totally get it being a discount chain they need to keep costs down to pass on to customers, but 2 cashiers in on evenings is really not enough (would be great if there was a possibility to have someone 'on call' doing other work but called up when lines get long), and I have sometimes waited 20+ minutes to pay. Otherwise, the owner is quite involved in the community and seems like a good guy. Staff keep the store stock levels up, and in good, clean shape. Produce isn't my first choice here, but it's decent. Customer service is hit and miss, but usually hit - there's one or two cashiers who aren't the politest. I do love the fact they have pre-packaged donation bags up front for a quick grab and donation to the local food bank. Not a knock on the place, just a heads up - shopping carts are locked, so bring a quarter!
It actually just needs one exceptional customer service experience to gain a new customer. When my daughter craved Dunkaroos, definitely a nostalgic treat of her childhood, I was put to the task to research availability in Ottawa early one Sunday morning. I was lucky when not only a live person, but specifically Zubada picked up the phone at FreshCo on Robertson and Moodie in Bells Corners. It literally took her only seconds to find the product and locate it in the store. I quickly flew over, and picked up a few boxes. As a former trainer in customer service, I am aware of staff going above and beyond the call of duty. Zubada was polite, professional, efficient and fast in her response. Sharing my comments with Zubada's manager Todd at a later point in time, he added that a few other members of the family had been employed by FreshCo. Thank you Zubada, best of luck in your future, and thank you Todd for being a role model in successfully integrating our newcomers into the Canadian workplace.
I waited over an hour with a booked appointment to see someone. This location at the time I went (Monday morning) had but one nurse practitioner. No receptionist. No doctor. no nurse. One person running around doing everything. It took me until 15 minutes into the appointment to learn that she was not a doctor and that a doctor would join us virtually (for all of 2 minutes). I feel bad for this worker as she is running around doing everything with the added bonus of getting harped on by patients for being slow. I don't see it as her fault. However, she (but mostly the company) should tell people that there are no doctors on site. I would have saved the 2.5 hours it took me to get there, sit around and see some medical professional.
I frequent this Freshco often, and have never had an issue until tonight. The lack of precautions, since the lifting of strict Covid-19 Government regulations, is unsettling. The spray bottle intended for cleaning cart handles before use was empty and left lying atop the garbage can, and was labeled Pine Sol. Pine Sol contains less than 10% isopropyl alcohol, and the recommended concentration is actually 60% for actually being effective in killing surface pathogens. Not sure if the grocery industry has different standards- regardless I'm not coming back here due to their lack of health and safety precautions. I gave the extra star for the good customer service, but took 3 away for the overall carelessness of precautions.
Some great prices, pretty clean, staff I have interacted with were nice and helpful. My concern here is the same as the Bells Corners location, and that us their produce and the quality. I left the BC location and have not returned. The smell of rotting fruit and vegetables was overwhelming. At closer look the lettuce was black, rotten and mouldy and the staff left it after I pointed it out. The Merivale location last week was sadly very similar. I pointed it out to the staff and suggested it not be out seeing the condition of it, but he said it was all they had! I put my items back and went elsewhere! I do hope they don't let the new location become like the other!
So I decided to goto freshco on Sat Oct 7, 2pm, and use first cash next to express cash. Now I'm not expecting top notch service but I would expect ANY form of communication, greeting towards me. The girl (Disha)was speaking in a foreign language to the other coworker both commenting about what's on her phone which was dating site. Basically ignoring me the whole time. It felt alienating and not welcoming. I will not return as I've noticed this a couple times now. You would think management would provide the basics to the staff for customer service. There is no way I would employ the girl at the cash. I'm sure this store has lost customers cause of her.
I shop here because of the low prices, and it's in the neighbourhood. It is a trade-off though. They consistently under order for sales, and run out of stock before the sale is over. There is a HUGE sign at the back of the store offering rainchecks. When you try to get one, you are told that you can't get one on that product. It is an "in and out" item. There is a staff member, I think her name is Jennifer who bellows at everyone, and constantly interrupts cashiers, in the middle of transactions, to chat. It would be very nice if she would turn down the volume, or leave! Other staff are very pleasant, but I guess there's always ONE to spoil it.
Good, fresh and well priced vegetable options. Meat is not freshly cut like Metro and the bakery isn't freshly prepared. This is definitely a negative for me, when metro is just down the road. Customer service is scarce and generally not the friendliest, and finding help can be hard. Freshco changed from plastic bags to cloth ones and this is a huge plus for me. The environment is important and this is a small change that goes a long way. Frozen selection is good, gluten free options are slim but there, and the chip/soda prices are always good. Overall, I'd only go here if you're a multi-store person. The vegetables/fruit are unbeatable.
You are my favorite grocery shopping place but today it was heart warming to be welcomed by a friendly elderly gentleman big beared wish read his name. But he was looked happy, friendly and gave instructions politely about the store and later when I saw him inside he was reminding people to follow the arrows politely. Kudos to you during this oendamic being patient and friendly with public. My feedback to this store has always been top rating for price and product and there was no impact customer service ever. This time 100%. Please do that k him from my side and do read this note him and all as he is a great example of customer service.
I was trying to price match items and the cashier had NO patients she informed me that they don't price match a great number of stores like Metro & Loblaws their main competitors. Afterwards I tried to redeem the advertised promotion, spend 150 dollars and get 1500 in scene points. She wasn't even informed of this promotion and said I didn't qualify when my bill was $160... She just couldn't wait to get me thru the cash even was confrontational asking "if we had a problem" I was *SHOCKED* absolutely the worst customer service in my opinion I wont be shopping here! Giant Tiger, Metro anywhere but here!
Staff: great. I get along with all of them. Products: Non produce: great. Competitively priced. Great selection. Produce: all, they get all the Sobey's produce that is getting a little long in the tooth. Take those boxes of tangerines or whatever they are called. Often there are rotten ones in the boxes. They are just too old. Broccoli: 2 day after buying it started to wilt. Now I know how to keep it fresh, but this was just too old. I am very selective in my produce buying, and I will be very selective in any figure produce purchases here. In fact I prefer to go to Loblaws for produce.
I would definitely recommend this store for groceries. I would recommend to refer weekly flyer to know about good deals. Also if you have Scene+ account then you can earn points on grocery purchase and redeem them in-store later on. Two most important points I want to share. 1) If you have Scotia bank AMEX card then you could get 6x points on groceries that would be 6% back on every purchase. 2) Store offers price match, so if some of the items are priced higher as compared to other grocery stores so in that case you can do Price match and take benefit of it.
Honestly worst grocery store in the area. It's like they make it a personal goal to be as inconvenient as possible. Have to pay to use the carts for some reason, they dont bag your goods for you, they dont include or even ask if you want bags with your groceries. They just sent it off the other side of the checkout when you pay and it's your problem apparently. Considering it's the same prices as everything else in the area (worse in many regards) I dont see how this is a good idea in the least. Was my first time there today. Will also be my last.
Used to shop here all of the time but after my last visit I am just going to have to shop elsewhere. The quality is just not there anymore. I went there mainly to pick up produce and in particular fresh ginger. The ENTIRE bin of ginger was rotten. And I mean come apart in your hands rotten. Have never seen anything like this at any grocery store. I stood there for some time going through the bin trying to find just one piece that did not have rotten bits. I informed one of the store staff who was very polite but just shrugged it off.
Disgusted. Wouldn't price match my wife's purchase of Zoglo's Frank's and Zoglo's Meatless Royal burgers, which are $3/each at the Carleton Place location. Made her pay full price of $7/each. What happened to price matching? Especially when it's the exact same store!!!!!!!!!! Also, made her pay for plastic bags, who does that with COVID19? Not even the Carleton Place location makes you pay for bags. What a cheap, poor service STORE. Will never, ever, in my lifetime shop here ever again. Does not deserve any cent of mine.
Will not be returning to this store after I witnessed how terribly one of the managers treated 2 women price matching. She began rudely speaking to them and then proceeded to yell several times, all while these women didn’t raise their voice. I followed the customers to the parking lot where 1 of them was shaking and the other almost in tears. They reported that this was the second time this white manager with very short blond hair had treated them this way. Believed by all of us to be racially motived.
This store had been my favorite until yesterday when I went there and saw one customer was picking his best mini-eggplants by touching and squeezing almost all those put there with his dirty hands. No hands disinfection was required when customers enter the store. So what that customer did was rather dangerous and disgusting to other customers. I told that guy that he should not do that but he just said picking is allowed by the store. A staff passed by but did not do anything to stop that.
This store need to provide training to the employees about customer service. This happened 2nd time. Item on the flyer was not available on shelves and I was expecting some sort of rain check or any advice about how to get this item. But, have to struggle and kept everyone waiting in line. Cashier made multiple calls to the backend employees. I was replied with nothing can be done. After raising issue with manager/super, I was issued a rain check coupon. 1 sec task took 20-25 minutes.
Indeed some selections are at a better prices. They seem to have alot of international choices. I went few times and its not easily navigated because the way its set up that often you will go against the traffic of people and carts. Also I have some difficulty in finding products I want. Parking is plenty but you have to remember to grab a cart before going in. Produce aren't always the best selections. Also there's people from all levels of income (more often low income customers).
Staff is always helpful, even when they are not necessarily knowledgeable. Prices are great, especially in comparison to local Loblaws, Metro more comparable but not as good overall. Checkout is fantastic, the cashiers overall are professional, courteous and helpful. Sometimes to talkative, when standing inline waiting. (Perhaps just my impatience). I've been grocery shopping for over 30 years in Ottawas west end. Best place ive found to shop. Just wish they had a deli.
This is a typical lower priced grocery store. You have to hunt for genuine bargains - sometimes you score, sometimes not. It could be cleaner and better organized but then again, sometimes the deals make up for the slightly grubby floor. It's strictly bring-your-own-bags as they don't provide or sell them and there's no promises that you can find a cardboard box either. The staff aren't unfriendly, just....quiet. if you're bargain hunting it's worth the stop though.
Don't be deceived by the price match sign, it's misleading. They don't price match with Shopper's and Giant Tiger even though they are Canadian stores. Walmart does it with everyone, that's the way to go. Shelves are not well-stocked and are usually out on many grocery items. Also, cashiers are rude, not all cashiers greet. Owner doesn't care either, not customer focused at all. Other Freshco locations are much better. Not going back to this location ever again.
Great store, always great specials. Better quality produce than the average location. Friendly fast cashiers. One incident left me speechless though. It was regarding a special on Grape Tomatees errously posting at $1.75 a pint but actually scanned at $2.49. I took back and questioned the price but was met with a suspicious attitude. Supervisor there was unapologetic and that incident left a bad impression for me. Always check your receipt!!
My wife lost her wallet with all her IDs and $200 but wasnt sure where & how. 2 weeks later a very nice gentleman knocked on our door to return my wife's wallet with all cards and $200. He said his store employees found the wallet and immediately passed it to their supervisor. It turns out this man was the store owner who took his time out of his busy schedule to drive to our house. Thank you Todd! I will forever remember this kind gesture.
The quality of the produce can be iffy, and there can be long lines at the cash (as there were today - only 2 cashes open, and 8 people in line, although the lines moved swiftly). But this store has the most incredible variety of international frozen food, including Latin American stuff that I've previously only been able to buy in the east end. So that part, at least, deserves a solid four stars. And they had young green jackfruit!
My go-to grocery store when I'm in the area. I always find that the produce is exceptionally fresh and visually appealing (no bruised fruit). Great variety of meats and cold cuts. Bakery section is small but you can usually find what you need. Exceptional international grocery aisle. If you're on a budget, this is the best place to save some money for great quality food.
I had to run inquickly and grab a few items. That became more than that when I saw the quality of produce section. Everything was so fresh unlke other grocery stores. The lines moved quickly and people were super respectful wth each other. The cashier was freindly and handled an elderly customer with patience and calm. I will certainly return in the future.
Great store but getting a little too disorderly. Many items missing price tags, a few shelf spaces have been sitting empty for 7 months; no employees knows why they're perpetually out. The store could use some attentive staff. But... Great prices and they price match!!!! One of my two "go to" grocery stores. Careful ob the expiry dates of their milk though.
This store is basic with minimal decor but the prices are the best in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful and the owner puts an emphasis on being part of the community and giving back. Carts require a quarter if you can't find a loose one and the selection is more limited than neighbouring stores but they carry a diverse range of international flavours.
The staff are very helpful. I wanted to buy 30pk eggs that were on sale, but they happened to be out of stock that day. The guy who was organizing merchandise told me when they had a truck coming in, and suggested I could call the store before coming in to check if there is new stock at that time. Definitely made my day. Merivale and McArthur Freshco suck.
This freshco is particularly my go to place for Indian vegetables like okra, tinda, Chinese okra, and all the frozen veggies that I can cook in my Gujarati household. Also, the South Asian section in large compared to other freshco that I have visited. Also, the carts here are very smooth as compared to merivale freshco which is a good little benefit!
Very very bad experience of being fraud. There is one old aged lady who is doing cashier job and I asked her for price match for 3-4 items and she acted like she did .. but she didn’t do anything and she was very rude to me. I guess fresco should hire some young and smart employees so that they can work very efficiently. You can see my bill below
I asked for help in the meat department from 2 produce clerks one answered idk the others said there's no more of what I was looking for without even checking...I was looking for something else asked a 3rd person he was like I can't help you... Get to the cash the cashier says my total was 22.85 so I hand her 23 and she's like no it's 33.85
Update: Went here on Saturday at 6. Only one checkout lane functional. There were a lot of employees but not at the check out. Previous: Well priced items with a lot of options available. The only thing was this place can probably use some organization as I saw few things that were of similar category but spreaded in multiple aisles.
Worst store ever!! If I could leave a negative star amount, I would! The customer service is terrible. Management is incredibly rude. The scene points redemption never works when trying to make a purchase and their answer is always "there is nothing we can do about it". Save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere!!
Pretty good Freshco, especially for migrants as you get number of South Asian groceries. What they could improve is keeping more varieties. Also, some of the South Asian green vegetables were about 2 weeks old due to which I couldn't buy. Would be great big it could be fresh or there's a way to know when they bring fresh ones.
I've been shopping at this Freshco for years, staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable. The owner Todd is usually out on the floor assisting customers and his staff. One of his staff members in particular, Andrew is always helpful with customers who may need assistance with heavy items, and generally courteous and pleasant.
They have put low limits on tons of items, stationed a bouncer at the front door, and expect people to follow arrows on the floor through their store. If I wanted to be treated like dirt I'd go to an airport. Also, their bags are the worst quality I've ever seen and are very likely to rip before you even reach your car.
Hello corporate and head store manager!..The female front store manager at Bells Corners location not sure of her name, but she has ZERO customer service skills!!..has a attitude that she is irreplaceable!.. needs a attitude adjustment by upper management and a course on respectful, polite, customer service skills!!..
If you like super cheap groceries this is your place. But if you are shopping at a grocery store because of the environment or experience then I would stick to loblaws or wholefoods because this place looks and smells disgusting. Half the floor is missing, there is mild in the shelves and the shelves are always empty.
This is my store of choice due to costs, but sometimes I see the workers tossing produce very heavily into the containers. Additionally, at times produce is in poor stock. Cash staff don't offer to help bag anything, which I find strange. Could use improvement, but it is the most affordable grocery store.
On June 26 we bought a pack of chicken at Freshco in Bells Corners that said Best Before July 1st, but when we opened the package at home; the chicken had a bad smell. So we had to go to Loblaws and buy chicken again and threw out the Freshco one. They must have put a fake ‘best before’ date on it.
Came in to buy some baguettes but left with more than intended. A lot of great deals and a variety of products here. The cashier, Christine, gave us quick and efficient service plus she was very sweet! Thanks! Location was a bit dirty on the outside and inside but it didn't bother me that much.
They have a great selection of products as well as friendly staff......for the most part . We all have those days lol. Unfortunately, FreshCo you received this 4-star review from me, is your aisles are needing a slight reorganization otherwise keep up the great work
I always buy my grocery over here. They are the cheapest and have a huge selection even in indian items. Best to visit in early morning when everything is freshly stocked. And deals are amazing. I bought 6 yogurt 900ml for 6 buck. Thats like shopping at cosco without cosco card.
Warning, cashiers have apparently been told they do not need to wear a mask when behind the plastic barrier. These are the people handling every customers food and breathing on everyone's food. They are putting themselves and everyone they come into contact with in danger
Outside of dollar stores, this is definitely the most economical option for grocery shopping. Non sale prices are lower than other stores, and sale prices are shockingly less. Produce quality is a bit lower, but I will accept that any day for the difference in price.
Great store! Produce is cheap, get it before they sell out. 2lb of broccoli was 3 bucks the other day! Decent selection of other good, meats is limited selection. chose this store for produce and the odd dairy and dry good. You cannot beat freshco produce price.
Great prices, great selection - I live in Kanata and it's worth the trip. There are a lot of reminders that they don't want you to steal their carts, so if stealing shopping carts is your thing, this probably isn't the grocery store for you. Would shop again.
I love this store. True to its name things are super Fresh. Unbeatable prices. Variety of vegetables from the world is wonderful though those veggies are not fresh as at the Asian grocery store. Prices for lentils and pulses excellent. No curry leaves.
Almost always find cheaper prices. Good selection, though not as extensive as other stores, but apart from local bread and fresh fish (they do often have salmon though) I can always find what I want. Good selection of overseas items (India, china etc)
* website * 404 - content ( item I'm looking for ) no longer available. It will only show the flyer of the week, store location. -- search bar, is not worth it --. I don't understand why create a web page, and nothing to show what is in the store(s).
Great prices, will price match, good selection of ethnic foods. Fresh produce not so fresh always. Biggest issue is getting a shopping cart - so many now are locked up even using the quarter. Have seen dozens of people walk away in frustration.
Large and lots if selection. The cashier clearly wasn't pleased to be working there and it was hard to blame her as the inside of the store smelled like a cat litter box. My rating of 3 is based on selection, reasonable price and selection.
Pre-pandemic this store was my go-to for produce and meat. Unfortunately, it is not the same now. Produce rots after 2 days, and recently we bought a pack of discounted raw chicken, which still had 3 days before its best before date, and
We shop here every weekend. Although some of the produce can be a little "old" the prices are great! We price match and have never had a problem. I usually save about $10 a week in price matching so an extra $520 in my pocket every year!!
FreshCo prices are great, and this location does a pretty good job with keeping product stocked. Checking out is often slow due to minimal cashiers, though I suppose that's part of the cost control that helps keep the prices down.
Todd the owner goes out of his way to help everyone. Above and beyond. Lots of gluten free options. Today I noticed my favorite lunch meats 3$ cheaper at fresco than metro. It's nice to see them being reasonable with inflation.
Would never recommend this branch, rude staff. Do NOT waste your money on a business which does not train their staff in customer service skills. Be aware of this lady named, Christine. She is extremely rude and unprofessional.
Covid measures are wonderful. Double lines onthe floor for those people who like to follow directions. Cashier serves one customer and as they are bagging their groceries she goes to the next cash to serve the next customer.
Decent variety, and usually pretty good for stocking the sale items. However, a lot of the time, when marc angelo meat products (ie. roasts and kebabs specifically) are in the flyer, this store will not have items in stock.
Freshco at Bells Corners has a great variety of ethnic food products at great prices. The owner is also very generous with his support and donations to the local food bank, FAMSAC, throughout the year. Greatly appreciated!
The staff here have gone above and beyond multiple times. I feel like a costumer that matters whenever I have a question or request. Congrats to the entire team for impressing me time and time again. Thank you so much!
other people have indicated to, it's a good place for sale items. It's not that far and staff are very helpful. I'll continue to go there to pick up the small items that I need cuz I know they have the best price
Went to this store today, Andrew was very very helpful with finding stuff and grabbing things from the back if they were out on the shelves. Never seen an employee in grocery store work with so much enthusiasm.
Absolutely Excellent!!! Always has great deals and usually no line up (due to COVID) great people to help you find any product with a great attitude. I highly recommend shopping for all your grocery needs here
This is my main grocery store. Great location. Lots of parking. Other conveniences nearby. I love that they price match. Although it seems lately they seem to be price matching fewer stores than they used to.
Violate "Scanner Price Accuracy Code" by refusing to refund full purchase price of incorrectly scanned item. Manager tries to weasel out of it by falsely stating that code does not apply to items on sale.
One of the first places I was able to find lactose free whipping cream. Nice assortment of foods at decent prices. No mobility devices though and they make you pay a coin deposit for the carts.
Good products for your money. But I still wonder why are we still putting a quarter to get a cart and then get back the quarter after we finish. The Corona should have killed this practice!
My son shops here quite a bit. Owner is super community oriented. Recently, my son's groceries were stolen after her shopped and they replaced it all and gave him a new cart to take home.
Friendly staff , always very clean store with amazing prices & fresh produce to choose from the weekly flyer specials for every family to enjoy !! Thank U & keep up the great work !!
I love the prices but they are often sold out of the things I need. (ie paneer and various sales items). They'd be five star if I didn't have to make a trip to Walmart right after!
Not a fan of FreshCo, too crowded aisles and the vegetables ( Indian) were definitely not of satisfactory quality. Good for someone who is looking at discounts rather than quality.
The best customer service , very very nice Fresco. There was a cashier, can’t remember her name. Very friendly and pleasant. Thanks to all staff for your hard working and service
Fresh co has best variety of international grocery among big name grocery stores. This center is particularly good because it is not too crowded and shelves are properly arranged
Every time I shop at Freshco it is actually a great experience… the cashiers are great, such pleasant girls and so helpful… one of my favourite grocery stores to shop at. …
Economical grocery store. Parking lot was paved in fall 2017. Staff have always been helpful to me. Store management is always receptive to feedback -- love the smaller carts.
A smaller store, but they manage to meet most needs. Their meat department is a little iffy, but good for the basics. Staff is friendly and store is reasonably clean.
It's a grocery store. Sometimes there are some great deals. Sometimes the pricing does not make sense so focus on the size. E.G.a 946 ml the same price as the 450 ml.
A nice small owned business. Clean neat store with good staff and an owner who does so much good and gives back constantly. Support local small owned business here!
Great place to shop, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables! Friendly helpful staff, and lots of free parking. Found the place to be very clean, and good prices too!
All good produce and excellent prices. Boxed/canned stuff a little bit more expensive but not more than any other store. Overall, best store to shop in in Ottawa
Nice collection of items, and great prices. They do have frozen Indian paranthas that I liked and also some other items that are not available easily elsewhere.
A bit too conjusted aisles.... Grocery carts are 25 cents to be released/ used.... these days nobody has cash and it's very un-convenient for ole bags like me !
Most things are fresh prices r lower than other stores. That store makes me feel at home away from home. Staff is always friendly. Nice place to shop …
Liked it but it could have been a little bit cleaner and better organized. It was a little bit bare in spots too but to be expected at Christmas time rush.
I was lucky to buy a watermelon for $1.88. Seedless, really juicy, had a nice crunch and fresh. I haven't had a good watermelon like that in many years.
Not as good the one in Merivale. Seems like Management and staff doesn't care as much for cleanliness or fresh produce. However they do have good deals.
Great value for essentials. The staff are lovely people - I always go to the same cashier for that reason. The front end manager is also awesome!
Great place to shop but once they didn't have the item which were in their flyer on sale and Staff denied to provide a coupon. Strange! …
Nice clean organised store BUT THE ENTRANCE IS HIDDEN. The smallest entrance I've ever seen and hidden behind sidewalk post and plants etc.
Not very clean or well stocked right now. There are much better stores with better produce and good prices. We walked out without buying.
It's usually very clean and pleasant, except there were 2 customers without masks inside the store today. The staff didn't take action.
Great store with choices of delicious Eastern European food. Prices also cheaper compare to different stores. Will be back more times.
Clean, well laid out and excellent prices! Worth the drive. Quick service and friendly staff make this location a pleasure to shop in.
Last week, they brought plants from a local farm, named Bristol farm, and they are nice for a really good price. Definitely recommend
Where are the cashiers? No self check out so your trapped. They had guacamole in the back but wouldn't go get it. Won't be back...
Pays to check their flyer and walk the aisles for sale items. Also a good idea to have their Scene card for additional savings.
