Unfortunately I had a dreadful experience with Foxtons over a 4 month let at 53B Fordwych Road. The property was listed at £600pw. I was out of the country and I know short lets can be tough to tie down so didn't dispute the asking price and signed a tenancy contract at £600pw. Given a tenancy contract was drafted and signed, the price must have been accepted. Two weeks later I was told that the landlord hadn't signed, and wanted more money. We eventually settled at £650pw. Bad start. When I arrived at the property, the landlord hadn't moved out any of their belongings at all. One wardrobe and a chest of drawers was full with their belongings, as was every square inch of storage space. I had to move the landlords belongings to the spare room which effectively reduced the property from a 2 bed to a 1 bed (a photo is attached to show the amount left behind). I contacted Foxtons about the issue and despite persistent chasing over the 4 month let, they did absolutely nothing. They took days or weeks to respond to emails. They offered no solutions to any issues. I asked if the landlord would move the stuff out or agree to a rent deduction to reflect the loss of a bedroom - no response. When I moved out, I left the property in the same state I had found it but the landlord is trying to deduct £180 for cleaning. They provided no photos or evidence at all. I have asked for evidence, but in typical Foxtons fashion, have received no reply. No doubt it will take the deposit protection dispute system to sort this one out. If I could give minus stars I would, it was the worst letting experience I've had by some distance.

They (Foxtons) have been informed on multiple occasions that we do not consent to being contacted regarding a property. We are beyond exasperated and they continue to harass us for business by phone and email. They informed us to go to various resources online via an app and remove our Foxtons account. We had confirmation from the Letting's Director many months ago that our account had been deactivated however they have now informed us that legally that they must hold our data for 7 years and have so far not acted upon our request for a full disclosure under GDPR regulations. When they call us they don't want to listen to us, not interested in anything we might have to say, they do not get the message, speak over us and already know everything about us! They are purely driven by OTE and once they have your business they will ignore you all over again and deliver the worst property management service which will be via the myfoxtons portal as a 'self service' tool which is unfit for purpose. Furthermore nobody will help you when things go wrong and the property manager even rejected our email without any explanation. Do not enter Foxtons's Hotel California and never disclose your information to any branch of Foxtons as they will send it round and round to every branch and employees will not stop until a commission has been earned. When I gave a brief instruction to the Foxtons West Hampstead office on West End Lane, I never thought I would receive such a professional response and positive outcome from the experience.I was met by Ethan Gold who immediately showed a warm welcome with a smile and a calm voice. When we set out to view a property that he found, not only did Ethan showed us one but four flats that met the criteria we were looking for. His knowledge of each flat and their pricing was answered immediately and he subtly gave evidence of other aspects of the flats that I had not thought about. He was very patient as each aspect of the property was reviewed. He over extended the time allocated for our visit by half an hour but was very accommodating with paperwork that was needed as he exchanged his personal service to his office manager, Abby Gwynne who continued in the same manner and gave us undivided attention. The outcome was positive as we requested to view other properties on other day to give ourselves more options. I look forward to my next meeting with Ethan on Saturday. This has been such a refreshing experience in the new environment we all have to adapt to and I am happy to be sharing it with such a professional property letting and sales office such as Foxtons. Me and two friends were looking for a three bedroom house. This was our first time renting an entire house and so we weren’t really sure about costs or any of the renting processes we would have to go through. Paul Barrett at Foxtons helped us throughout the entire process. We had a lot of requirements for a house: it would have to be closer to central but affordable; it would have to be big enough for 3 people as well as being pet-friendly. Paul was able to take in all of our requirements and all it took was a viewing of one single house and we were sold. That house was perfect for us and although me and my friends had some issues getting all the paperwork together for the house we ended up getting the house! From the moment I made contact with *Isabella* at the West Hampstead branch, I knew I was in good hands. Throughout the process she has been extremely responsive and professional and answered all my questions. She was attentive to my requirements, even taking me to see properties quite far away from her office's area and at short notice. She also helped me find a short term let that gave me ample time to search for a long term option. What has made the experience even better is Isabella's positive attitude and energy, it was a pleasure getting to know her. The reason that I have not given 5 stars has nothing to do with Isabella - it is a failure in property management of my current short term let in dealing with issues in a timely matter. Isabella has even tried to help me despite it not being within the scope of her responsibilities. For such a reputable and established company, this has been unexpected and disappointing.

Solomon went above and beyond in coordinating viewing after viewing, checking in, negotiating with landlords for us and the entire process was extremely professional, transparent and respectful. We felt they only had our best interest at heart form the first call! We appreciate that the agency is transparent with no holding deposits until an offer is accepted, and has the most properties to view from other agencies we’ve worked with. We’ve dealt with numerous agencies beforehand and Solomon and his manager Mike Horton, went above and beyond. Despite this crazy market where we’ve felt shady vibes from most other agents from different agencies who take advantage of the clients a little, you can expect the opposite form Foxtons. Truly professional and helpful. We thank you so much!

Had a great experience with Foxtons West Hampstead. In my personal case I had very tough boundaries of what I was looking for and Ameer Malik was keen on helping finding places that would meet my expectation. In just a few a hours after our first chat we were on the streets looking at possible rental places that met the criteria. My wife and I agree that Amir was the best Estate Agent we had in our lives: attentive, consistent, fast, precautious, humble and direct when needed. He has a creative mind with one foot on the ground focused on solving puzzles that give the best for Landlord and Tenant. In summary, this people know how to do busyness while taking care of their customers. Recommended for everyone who knows what he is looking for and wants to see what the market can give you in such a crowded and demanded city as London.

Spoke to an agent this morning who said I wouldn't be able to see photos of properties prior to visiting them, and I would be expected to make an offer on the spot. That the only way to view properties is turn up to the office to see multiple at one time, but no prior information before hand regarding size, price, or location... I understand rental market is fast pace, but felt the conversation was verging on scam like. I then did some research on the agency and its safe to say I'll be avoiding at all cost. Many people commenting on unjustified charges prior to tenancy and post tenancy, plus lots of stories of personal information like contact numbers being passed onto other suppliers. I've rented for almost 10 years in London, and I've never been made out to think this is the norm. Red flags all over it! I shall be avoiding.

This was our first property purchase in the UK. We've dealt with lots of different agencies throughout the process, but Foxtons was the only agency where our specific search criteria were actually understood. Alex Jones and Noah Morrison, the agents we communicated with, were both incredibly helpful and taught us a lot about buying a property in the UK - whereas lots of other agencies seemed somewhat standoffish and almost annoyed by our lack of knowledge of the property market. Nathan White, who managed most, if not all, of the subsequent communication during the purchase, did a great job of keeping us and our solicitors on track and went above and beyond by helping us deal with all the formalities of the process. Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend Foxtons to anybody considering a first-time purchase.

He said they are quick, efficient and work hard to push a sale through. He could not have been more accurate in his appraisal! From start to completion, Foxtons did a great job. They have a simple, functional app "My Foxtons" where you are kept up to date with proceedings. I was contacted regularly and quickly when required and they made the whole experience a joy... We have rented a flat with Sanaa Dhanji at Foxtons West Hampstead, who has been wonderful. Sanaa is friendly, approachable and considerate. Sanaa has often been quick to respond to both emails and calls. She was diligent and chased up on multiple things for us, such as visiting the flat twice before our tenancy to ensure it was professionally cleaned. She also offered to leave the keys in an easily accessible but safe place for us - to remove the need to go out of our way to collect them - which I thought was a nice touch. All in all, we were very satisfied with Sanaa and Foxtons and would not hesitate to rent from them again. Highly recommend!

Our offer didn’t get through the landlord as the landlord prefer single occupancy, yet Sarah and her manager Mike offered to try to talk to the other landlord of another property with us bidding under the asking price. My agent was Ellie Appleton. Very responsive. I requested viewings through Foxtons website at like 17:30 and Ellie called me an hour later to arranged them for next day! She showed me not only the properties which I've requested, but all similar which I've missed! Was always very professional and helpful. and kept me up to date on all changes in property status!
