For such a historical and meaningful monument I was quite disappointed how Kansas City Missouri has neglected this monument and the condition of the picture of the old stadium along with no name plates for the historical players and Staples of the civil Rights movement. Places like these are important for me because I want to teach my children of the sacrifices that others had to make for their civil rights so that I can do my part as a parent to never let history like that repeated itself. Hopefully Kansas City Missouri will revitalize this monument to where parents can teach their children these important lessons for many generations to come.

I remember going here to see the players on the field. They had more spirit of the game than the super salary players of today. Spirit counts for a lot to the excitement of the game. 2023.

For those that like nostalgia, it's cool. Original stadium was ginormous. Historical marker shows this. Kind of hard to believe it was torn down.
