Not the smartest looking shop but has for years been a nearby handy place for me to pick up a few groceries. The owner is always friendly and polite but the old man who is sometimes there is very rude and short-tempered, with extremely poor customer service skills. He should not be working in retail or any job that involves dealing with the public. A sure way to lose customers.

First time visitor as newly moved to area and wasn't a pleasant experience. I only needed a couple of things and prices were reasonable. Gentlemen serving and its becoming all too prevalent these days in shops.He didn't greet me and his first words were would you like a bag? I said good afternoon sir how is your day going etc like I work there and he replied good thanks

Run down, expensive and just an unpleasant store. I’ve always used foodworks as the convenient local supermarket you expect to pay a bit more for convenience but it just isn’t convenient 4 seperate occasions it has been shut well before its trading hours on the door. For example today (Friday) shut before 5:30 despite “trading till 7pm” What a joke!

Has improved dramatically since they got rid of the terrible counter staff that that were always yelling and swearing without caring who was in the shop, women, children and the elderly that are not used to that sort of bad behaviour. Now run by the hard working owner.

Place is a step back to 1975, filthy store . Old man behind counter was rude with zero customer skills. Don't expect the shop to be open during regular hours displayed.

Friendly staff, cheap specials, decent range. Regular pricing may be a little expensive but not excessively so. Overall, everything you want from a small grocery store.

Handy store but expensive and out of date stuff everywhere..... Only good if ya desperate and can't be bothered going to real food shops.

Place desperately needs an upgrade, used to be packed here and now you really only get your regulars that come here.
