I normally try to shop at the farmers' markets and small stores, rather than the corporate giants. But let's face it... when certain goods are triple the price with the little guys, you have to do a bit of both. IMO, good service is also important, and this usually comes down to the people. As can be expected of a huge store, FB has a mix of good employees, and terrible ones. One regular cashier is particularly awful... sour-faced and never utters a single word to you other than the dollars owed; NO "hello", NO "thank you", nothing... and a dismissive grunt if you try to say a pleasantry yourself. I actually try to avoid being in his/her line. I actually cannot tell the person's gender. But that aside, a recent experience at this store a week or so ago, really turned me off. While shopping, I noticed a young employee stacking shelves. An elderly customer who apparently had limited English asked for help. The young girl was totally helpful to her in a kind and thorough way that you don't often see. I was really impressed. But what came next was awful. A tall Arabic man, obviously a manager, appeared and gave the employee a loud and angry blast for not finishing the stocking quickly enough. There are 2 terrible aspects to this. 1. the girl was providing amazing customer service. 2. a reprimand should not be made publicly like that. It makes the customer (me) feel distressed and actually angry about it.
Never thought I would have a negative experience at a grocery store. A product came up at a different price at cash than what was advertised on the shelf. When I brought it up to the cashier she followed me to the bunker. She said that the add was for a different product then the one I picked up. 5 of the product that I picked up where behind the sign on the shelf and there was no other product. I asked to speak to a manager and he said that the add was for a different product. When I pointed out that the product that I wanted was the only one present and there was no regular price tag for the product he was referring too he just said "sorry". When I went back to the cash, the cashier asked where the product was and I said that I no longer wanted it. She responded by saying with attitude "I cant just remove one scanned item, now I have to start all over". I then told her that I didn't want to buy anything and she said "go to Independent grocer." I will be taking her advice and bringing my business elsewhere.
This location, like all the rest in Ottawa is terrible. There is not enough space in the aisles to get around given the size of the carts that they have, there are never enough cashier's working and when there are, they are not fast enough to prevent being stuck in a line for up to half an hour. The prices may be very low but the quality of their products is horrible. I have purchased fruits and vegetables from Food Basics numerous times and it usually spoils in half the time that the same items purchased from another grocery store chain. All of the stores are badly laid out and the merchandising staff never leave enough space to move a cart past a skid of products. I have honestly hated each and every experience I have had with this whole chain of stores with the lone exception of the location in Rockland. That one is the only decent Basics in the area.
Went to get almonds one day that were on sale for 2.88. It was a such a good deal we thought we'd come back. Returned the following day to see that they re-stocked it, and I asked an employee if they were still the ones on sale (which they said yes). It was good up until we checked out. Six bags of what was supposed to be 2.88 each turned into a total of $39, like what?! So when the cashier called another employee to confirm, that employee returns saying "No, it's 8.99" as if I made up the price. So I told them to check again and the following employee returns finally apologizing for the micpricing. So I accepted that, they said they would correct it immediately (so no future guest would experience the same). I intentionally returned a few days after to still see it incorrectly priced..like really. Get it together.
I have mixed feelings towards decent stores with either great, or terrible employees. One time I asked someone to help me find the yogurt (they were on sale that day). She just pointed at an empty fridge as they had been moved closer to the front of the store; terrible service. Example two, I asked someone to help me find prepackaged frozen naan, he spent a few minutes making sure he knew what I was talking about, and walked me to another section of the store, outside of his purview. He stopped stocking the freezers to help me, and made sure I got what I wanted. I asked if there was a compliment form or something I should fill out for him, he shrugged and said, just doing my job. (His name was Ritha; if anyone feels like giving him a raise)
Aug 21st, 2018 at 8 pm I was waiting inside my car for my wife who was in a que with groceries. My wife cannot walk far due to health reason. I was not obstructing the passage. Unfortunately the shopping cart handling person was behaving rough saying to remove my car from the spot immediately. I explained to him the situation and meantime my wife came out from the store with the groceries. The person was still shouting and my wife also did not like the misbehave of a food basics person. The food basics management should train their employees to behave well to their customers. Otherwise they will move to nearby Farm Boy. Walmart, Independant Grocer, Produce Depot, Metro or Freshco.
Pros: it IS cheaper. You start to resent paying more elsewhere. Many full price items at FBasics are still substantially cheaper than the same item at other stores. Even on sale. (Ex. Dole prepared salads 3.97 every day) - good selection of international foods Cons: sale items sell out quickly and they do not restock! Sale starts Thursday, and then often sold out by Friday. - line ups can be insane during peak times. - worst meat in the city. I'm serious. - if you have an issue with cultural diversity this is not the store for you. - this is a dirty, dismal location. Literally any other location is guaranteed to be cleaner and more enjoyable to shop at.
DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. There has been a recent theft of a dog left outside tied in front of the doors of this venue for less than 10 minutes. The leash was cut clean. The business refused to cooperate with the victim, and the police needed to be brought in to get any help from the business identifying the thief. If you love your dog, do not under any circumstances tie them in front of the store before doing your shopping. Any business that values its customers and has a good heart would not make up excuses for why security footage was not available, but the footage becomes magically available once police come knocking.
The staff here is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and very patient. Didnt just blow us off but walked us to the product when we were looking for a unique seasonal item at this store and when one employee couldnt find it, they asked another etc, 3 members helped in total, they didnt give up or shrug us off ... it was a miracle, plus the item was found and sold 5 of them to us (going back in to buy 5 more after this review and experience). This store is amazing and I'd shop and recommend it again at the blink of an eye. Thank you, and God bless.
I usually shop from this store at least once week and this not the first time to find expired products still setting on the shelves! I just was there and was looking for granola cereal for my pregnant wife to find out whatever packs I picked were with already expired date on them! I mentioned this to the staff before as I found quite a lot of expired products before ,but obviously no action been taken . I would advice every shopper to check expiry dates on packs before purchasing as it’s been happening a lot now .
This place is always dirty, there are messes everywhere that never get cleaned up. The produce is very bad quality ans it goes off quickly. But honestly, you can't beat the price, cheapest meat that rivals Costco's price, but not it's quality. The staff have always been very kind, I do feel bad for them because they always seemed to be stretched thin, they do what they can with what they have. One thing this location has over the others is that they offer a wider selection of international products.
I write this review to talk about the “express” line. I put “express” in quote marks intentionally; it moves slower than the other lanes for no reason. Cashiers at this stall specifically are either clueless or too busy talking to focus on their work. This location would benefit from self-checkout machines, which would give the customer more control over their time, rather than be forced to stand in a line that moves slower than it should. Side note: Walmart has better pricing on produce.
Food Basics is located in Heron Gate Square at 1670 Heron Road. The store is reasonably clean and they carry a wide assortment of products including those of middle eastern tastes. I go there to buy their hot roasted chicken, pita bread and weekly specials. I prefer to buy my milk, fruit and vegetables at Farm Boy or Produce Depot as I find Food Basics produce doesn't equal the other store's freshness or quality. Overall Food Basics is a good store and I think you will like it too.
Good products for the price most of the time. 3 stars given because of customer service. Would give 2.5 if able to. I understand that people have bad days and it’s hard to have a smile on your face but the cashiers need to put a bit more effort in trying to provide decent customer service. I have been at this locations on multiple occasions and have been served with rudeness almost every time. Half the time they don’t even speak a word to you, other times they are just plain rude.
This place doesn't have fresh produce like loblaws or metro for example but you sort of get what you pay for. The lineups are usually ridiculously long and the waiting is horrendous (TIP FOR CAHIER WAIT : SPEAK LOUDLY AND TELL THEM TO CALL PEOPLE TO THE CASHIERS FOR MORE ASSISTANCE, 90% of the time it makes a difference and this goes for most stores, sometimes you just need to speak up). Store isn't generally up to par for cleanliness, staff is nice and there's plenty of parking
The employees are rude some of them are very polite but when now that they've changed it around they've got 2 cashes at the front door there. And one girl's refusing to help a man and this other girl stod they're telling the other guy that's working on the other cash. That's so sad everything's cool so he said cool and they totally ignore. The man waiting at the counter like that is just disgusting and I shop there all the time. I think I'll find another store to shop at.
The good thing about Foodbasics is a plenty of room between the shelves. Great pricing for essential products. Fresh and always available produce. The store is always clean, products have correct prices. So no surprises when cashing out. Foodbasics supports low income families by providing 30-50 % discounts on some close to expire products which other grocers simply waste. It reduces the waste while letting many struggling people have food they could not afford.
I give this Good Basic a 5 easily. It's a Good Basics not a Loblaws etc and as far as a discount grocery store goes this one is always stocked, taking the time to wrote this because they deserve a great rating, can't believe I'm writing all this but the staff have been wonderful. I've been shopping here for half a year and have been helped many times by staff above and beyond there regular duties when I've been here n back pain from damages etc they helped:)!
Manager was really rude there. I was looking for an item and I asked one of their employee and he said he don’t know where it is. Then I asked manager on duty (it was his first day there) he said you have to help yourself and when I couldn’t find it. He came to me said store is closed. I said I was looking for item from last 10 min. He said if you don’t want you can leave everything here. Even the other employees said he not supposed to talk to me like that.
When I was new to Canada in 2016, it was my fast Food basic I do the shopping and visited always. Honestly, The staff and the customer were very cordial people. I usually help them the homeless around the shopping mall, when I myself don't have anything at all due to, I knew it. However, I had experienced life from a refugee camp to Canada. Let's help those who need as a result of they needed us today nor another day. Thank you, for you're reading.
I loved shopping here, since prices are great. But it happens to often that things spoil way before the expiry date. I also bought things that were over a month past the expiry date. Especially pita bread and wraps have mold days before the bb date. But I also had spoiled oat milk and cinnamon rolls and problems with fruits and vegetables. Never had these problems at any other store. Still 2 stars since staff is amazing there.
I was in the evening to purchase milk my first impression of the store walking in was not very clean one bit, then in the fridge of the milk last 5 doors had 1.5 -2 inch of thickness of milk build up on the floor like it hadn't been cleaned for over 6 months absolutely disgusting and a health issue. This is unacceptable for a grocery store to look like this management needs to step up or the health board will have a field day
This grocery store has good prices and friendly service!!! The only one issue i have regarding Food Basics is the line ups are way out of hand!!! They need to have more cashier's open at certain times of the day.... it is a little iterating to have to wait 15 mins in line for only a few items! I've walked out just because the line ups at the cash were way too long!!! Other than that it is a pretty good grocery store!!!
For a chain that boasts being a place to save money;the prices are higher or on par with walmart. you have to bag your own groceries, something about that bothers me ... All and all, if it wasn't the closest place to my house, I would never go back. In a pinch, it's better then a pharmacy, but compared to Loblaws? Please, the quality is favorable and on par or more then Loblaws. Walmart's prices destroy food basics!
This is a great store with good prices. Even now with prices skyrocketing, things are still cheaper here than any other store in the area. They have readily available hand sanitizer at the entrance, as well as wipes to clean the handle of your shopping cart. Thankfully most people were masked, but of course there's always the occasional old white guy who refuses to wear a mask. But that's not the stores fault.
Don't do it, if you need anything grocery oriented please drive elsewhere, shopping here is like stumbling onto any post apocalyptic movie set. It smells and looks like a scene from the Walking dead, the staff are marginally better than a sausage filled tube sock, staff fight with each other in front of customers, staff are about as helpful as a 4 year old with ADHD and a sugar addiction...avoid at all costs
Ok if you want something not perishable. The fruit, vegetables, and meat are not fresh and often not edible. They do not seem to rotate stock properly or remove bad product. I hate having to go through an entire display to find the best of what is a poor offering. I bought meat here only to find it was past date when I got home. And it was not a sale item either. Better to go to Freshco ...
The produce at this location is not high quality. Onions, garlic, and berries are always mouldy which is very disappointing. Also not sure why they display obviously mouldy onions… Ive noticed the cucumbers are usually on the verge of going bad. The selection here for non-produce products is pretty good. Generally a good grocery store but definitely find your fresh produce somewhere else.
Service with a smile, usually. Long waits at the till during rush hours - to be expected. I've been shopping here due to convince/ prices but am recently finding the food I bring home to be close to best-before/ expiration dates. Produce without and exterior marks of damage which is bruised on the inside. Not a bad place to shop - but keep an eye an what you place in your basket!
The store manager Jessey Pilon is a super knowledgeable product guy and his team at the store are excellent. Myself a senior, based on my first hand experience with him and a good customer of his store, I can say he is smart, a real gentleman with exceptional product / people skills. Thank you to all the employees at store # 100870 for your amazing customer service.
Everytime I go here there's a problem. Cashiers saving spots in line for their friends and people having to wait. No social distancing measures, no facilitating traffic coming in or out. I always get anxiety attacks in this spot it's so closed in and no breathing space. I hate this store and some of the employees. I would rather walk 45 more minutes to Loblaws.
Discount grocery store with competitive pricing, but lacking in overall quality. I'd suggest buying your meat elsewhere; beef products in particular. The produce section is satisfactory with a moderate degree of selection. The one caveat to shopping here is that you must be prepared to wait; lines at the cash registers extend to the aisles themselves at times.
Wonderful selection, very affordable prices and fairly short wait times at the cash. I would recommend it to anyone, no matter what your budget. If you expect high quality food, then it may not be your cup of tea, but nonetheless, I would choose this grocery store over loblaws any day because you get the same quality at a much cheaper cost!
The carts are so annoying! Every single one has something wrong with it! Service is awful, there's quite often a 5 minute wait at cash, and it generally feels less organized than other stores. It's especially in dire need of renovation.. the whole place feels like 2002. And prices aren't better than other stores like Metro or even Adonis..
Usually has decent prices, but sometimes it's very difficult to get to items on the tippity top shelf, no one is usually around to help you out either. I only go there occasionally, depending on busses. Most of the time I shop at YIG. Don't typically buy produce/fruit at this location as it NEVER lasts more than a day before going bad.
chantal was our cashier and she was great. Food basic is always my go-to for great quality and great prices Isles were nice and clean and organized and I found everything I wanted. It was full of people and everybody was courteous and the wait time in the lions were short as the cashiers very quick and have great customer service.
Always a bad experience here. Unfortunately not only I was followed by another costumer and then waiting in line I had been filling up my cart when costumer behind put her hands on my cart gripping it are you kidding me. And then an cashier with horrible attitude! Not pleasent at all and then got charged for 41 bags! Really
5 stars for front of house staff and good job by the staff at the entrance sanitizing cart's. Clean store. Only thing is if want to use printed coupons from Smartsource Websaver or Save.ca the Managerial Staff has instructed Cashier's not to accept. First-hand experience 12/30/20. No printed legit manufacturers coupons.
MOLDY BAGELS! I picked up a package of bagels and they were moldy. I passed it to a staff member who said "sorry" and took it away. Picked up a second package and it was moldy too. Threw it on the floor, paid for my other items and left. There was no date on the bag closure. Not sure if I'll ever buy bagels there again.
It was bad raining day and I was waiting for my ride just for 5 minutes and I said can I please stand for 5 minutes my ride will be here in 5 minutes and they did not let me stand and I was shivering in the cold they're so heartless that didn't even let me stand inside by the doors and I'm shivering in cold I got sick.
This one is a love hate relationship for me. Everything is much cheaper than other grocery store and they have great special and good selection. BUT... Make sure yo go either early morning or during work hours because they have 10 cash lines and 2 cashiers and they don't care how long you have to wait to check out...
I shop here most of the time, good grocery store it has almost everything that you would need, pretty organized, modern but be careful of checking out in the kiosk with a lot of groceries it takes for ever because it needs a worker ever couple seconds to scan their badge thing. But it's good for small items.
The staff are always pleasant, even when it's really busy they have always assisted me to make my shopping time much less (I am not a person who likes shopping anywhere but the Staff here help me cut my time in half) for this I am grateful and definitely a very happy regular customer. Thanks to all of you!!
love the flyers and how easy it is to keep up with promotions. They have an app so make sure to get the app to enjoy all the offers and discounts perfect for uni students. The self checkout is annoying, same machines like in dollarama with the scale so I would go to the register it’s a lot faster. …
Clean and organized place, clearly labelled and priced products, reasonable price. The staff is very helpful, which is always a plus. Be sure to check for promotion in-store events, sometimes you will find good sales or coupons for products that suit you and also taste something new if you are up to it!
I found everything I was searching for except the amount of Anjou pears I wanted. An associate in the Produce department, Bungu, asked me to do my other shopping and return in about 10 mins. When I returned he was in the process of cleaning the area to put more pears. He was so pleasant. Kudos to him
Great store with the best prices and hard working staff. They even have a live bird flying around the store for pleasant chirping noises while you shop, which is a great addition you don't find anywhere else! (although on a serious note, they might want to get rid of it for health and safety reasons)
I went to this food basics to stock up on fruits for the week, unfortunately it seemed someone forgot to take out majority of the rotten fruit on display. I went home without buying any because I no longer trusted their quality. It was a wasted trip to the grocery store on a terribly cold day.
Convenient location with easy access to parking, excellent variety of products especially fruits and vegetables, good working hours, good prices. This branch is one the best in town. In the international section, you can find many Middle Eastern food especially Arabic and Persian food.
I love the selection of international foods and the prices aren't too bad either. I just wish they would restock the baskets by the entrance more frequently and that they had more vegetarian options. I end up going to Loblaws half the time for a couple things but I always go here first
Poor customer service. I am legally blind and in a wheelchair. Only a very few of the staff to assist you while shopping. At the cash the lady accepted my debit card but several refused to bag my groceries. This place is not accessible for wheelchairs for NOBODY will help you.
Very basic selection but clean and staff is always there to help you and answer your questions. A suggestion: Either add more chasers or make sure the Express Line allows less than 16 times so people that are there to grab few things don't get stuck for 30 min waiting online.
We moved to Ottawa recently and discovered high grocery prices at big supermarket chains, then I discovered Food Basics and found prices at very reasonable costs, varieties, ethnic foods, good selections with fresh and frozen vegetables, weekly specials, friendly service.
Great place to shop very clean in the store staff are wonderful and helping you find what you need incredible prices I would recommend anyone to shop there it is probably the best grocery store I've ever been to and you will save money compared to any other grocery store
Typical Food Basic. Quality of the produce can vary greatly. Clementines and strawberries are often half rotten. Check out lines can be horrendous at times and they are slow to react to bring more cashiers on line. But they have good sales and most items are stocked.
Cheap place for groceries but some groceries are consistently not fresh and do not last long. But there's a variety of Indian indian groceries available that makes it a good place. I recommend buying only Indian items like rice bag, wheat and some Indian snacks.
Thank you to AJ (sorry if i got it wrong), who help me at the parking lot. He was of kind to offer me a hand to carry heavy stuff while he was collecting shopping cart. I really appreciated his service which went beyond his job. Well done. All the best to you.
The staff are very friendly and the prices are relatively cheap on most things. If items are on for a good sale, unless you're there first thing in the morning, there won't be anything left most of the time. Not due to the staff, just due to the good prices.
Staff looks depressed because they share the same job as mentally impared individuals who work there. The food is cheap and the variety is diverse. You pay for bags. In the end you get cheap food and that's worth the sad depressed environment around you.
Today when I went to food basics, to the reduced area I saw a gigantic rat. Obviously it has been there a while since it looked pretty well fed. It ran under a crate right as I spotted it. Ratatouille’s son is really making moves in Ottawa . …
I love this location. They always seem to have something that I need for cheap and in stock. This place is great to find everything you need quickly. No getting lost in here. You can get what you need and get out unlike other "grocery" stores.
Much less expensive than anywhere else. Shop wed to fri for fresh produce as quality is better. There is no deli counter. Half the price compared to Farm Boy. The price advantage for Foof Basics is now as much as 40 percent now. ( March 2022).
Not many good deals to be honest. There is no self check out which makes your stay 3 times longer. The cashier lines are huge. If u find very good and several deals u want, then it is worth it. Otherwise, don't go just for 1 or 2 things.
Disgusting mold found in produce section. Not been cleaned in a long time. I wish I could post a few photos. The back was smeared with moldy food and grate to catch water was clogged with moldy vegetables. Pls go tofarmboy for producte
Never seems to have enough cashiers open for their busy times and their green produce always seems to be wilted. Workers are very helpful and friendly though. If you have other options to buy your groceries I would go to them instead.
Good place for Indian grocery. The have almost all varieties of groceries and the have cooked halal chicken. The offers are really good. Some times I got full Halal cooked BBQ chicken for 8 $. The staff behavior is good and helpful.
Dirty washrooms. Stools all over seat. No toilet paper. Staff came in and when told it was dirty she said I KNOW. Floors littered with paper. And the employees were told its Happy Holidays and not Merry Christmas. Bah humbug to you!
Lady named Fatima at counter 9 was soo rude and didn't even gave proper answers. Throwing food and bags on conveyor while talking to the person over another counter... Remember we are not coming for free food. We are paying you..
Great staff. Very friendly. Very economical but they don't always have what you want. They probably cut your food bill 25 to 40 % if you are careful. Not like a big box stores where you have to buy massive quantities of product.
It's a good store. A little choatic at times, but usually well stocked and the staff is always nice to me! Would be 5stars, but I have been a few times when things are just insane - but that is more to do with the area it's in.
I was in the express line 1-16 items. 4 people ahead of me and 6 behind me. A 2nd express lane opened and the cashier didn't take me, who was next, but served all the people behind me. Staff training would be helpful.
So this place only made up in score for its prices. Its crowed, a little hard to find things and the belts at the cash are really short. Also its the only place that I know that they make you bag your own groceries.
Inside is the same old A@p with green shelves good place for canned and boxed goods but produce sucks meats always messy but for some reason they always have a great selection of on sale bacon thanks for that
This location is not the cleanest Basic's location. But they hire and maintain the best cashiers in the city, any grocery store period. They care. They are kind and patient. A joy to deal with. Thanks Basics.
Great everyday prices for staple products. Produce is cheap but quality is below the top tier grocery stores (Farmboy/Loblaws/etc). Great value if you want to one stop shop for basic groceries at a discount.
The fact that you have to line up at cash 9 for customer service is ridiculous, hire another person for customer service! A cashier makes a mistake and I get sent here to wait another 20m to get to a person.
The state of this store is absolutely disgusting. Carts are broke, the store is filthy. If I was a manager or a worker here I'd be ashamed of this. I will never shop here again. Good job food basics
Hey 20 years of great service from all yhe community members ....i always recieve great prices and pleasant atmosphere i rate this place 10 stars with a thumbs of for grocery pioneer leadership
I reccomend shopping here over bigger stores simply because prices seem to cheaper here than other groceries stores. Keep an eye out for their sales as well. They usually have amazing deals
Really good options of halal chicken, cheese and other basic grocery. Sometimes I found fruits and vegetables not upto the quality and rot. But if you come in evening they have fresh.
Cashiers was at wasn't happy, didn't greet me actually didn't say anything other than the price owed, not even a thank you... other than that the the store was clean and stocked...
As a broke uni student, this is my main grocery store! Best deals and great staff. Try going when it's less busy or else it is a bit hectic. I love that they now have free wifi!!
Has all the food you need. Especially good for Asian and Indian foods which can be hard to find in Ottawa. They could restock a bit better as some shelves always seem to be empty
Staff are friendly especially cashiers. Prices are the best. Store is clean. Sales are clearly marked. Produce is good. This is my go-to grocery store because of it's prices.
Best grocery store in Ottawa in my opinion. The prices are always lower than any other stores for most of the foods I purchase. Never had issues with any produce or products.
Cleaner than most food basics I've been too except the Innes Rd one. Overall it's okay, keep a closer eye on rotten fruits and veggies rather than throwing fresh ones on top
Reasonably priced, the lines were kind of long for a Sunday night. There was this one customer walking around the store (including the produce section) clipping his nails.
Staff were rude, very unhelpful and slow. Three staff standing in the customer service area didn't offer to help anyone lined up for over five minutes. Avoid at all costs.
Cheap produce. Quality of meats is dubious tbh, but the prices are good. Fresh vegetables good value. Mostly big on processed stuff, not much in the way of organic items.
I enjoyed shopping at food basics and do it so often I actually got a job here. And its so close to my house I'm never late for work!! See you soon! The original kd
Suzie has been my favorite cashier since I met her! I moved away from the neighborhood but I still come back so I can say hi and chit chat as she rings up my order.
This food basics is alright! I feel they need to keep it a little cleaner maybe even shifting the aisles towards the back to create more room for the cash line ups.
Food basic is ( basic ) , they have most of what you’ll need at a grocery store , and second hand brands like “ Selection “ , pretty good, located at “ Herongate “
Its my first day in Ottawa. I moved here and a woman helped me do the status card so gracefully. I love her. Prices are good as well. Safe atmosphere. Well done!!
Updating my review . The store is well maintained & the staff is excellent, very helpful and polite. They often open extra cashes when the line ups get to long.
Great location, easy access. Very clean and well stocked. Produce very fresh and always a great selection. Great deals always. Staff is helpful and friendly.
It needs a better management of food intake, distribution and refill, they may have more revenues. Also, they should improve the cleanliness of the premises.
Quality of fresh vegetables is hit or miss. Very busy not too many cashiers so long line ups. The parking lot is busy and people don't let pedestrians cross
Good place for all your groceries, with enough variety to serve everyone. And at a good price. But atimes discounted goods are not reflected at the cashier.
A grocery store that caters to just about everything that one might need, and usually at a most reasonable price. No wonder it's usually a trifle crowded.
