We found exactly what we wanted for our home! We visited a couple of different showrooms in person since we really needed to touch and feel the hardware. We learned the hard way that online shopping can be very deceptive and the return process a nightmare. Folger + Burt offered the best selections, terrific customer service, attention to detail, and much appreciate expertise. There are so many choices out there - but they were so helpful guiding us through the final selection process. We are thrilled with our selections and were able to meet our budget which was a win win!
If you want to see the best of what is available in architectual hardware this is the place. If you are a professional and need manufactured or custom hardware, this showroom has a vast selection, and even more more importantly, the support from a very thoughtful and knowledgeable team. I have worked with Laura Folger for years and value her attention to detail. Be warned this is not the "big box" way of purchasing hardware. You must make an appointment so that the team can dedicate the time to your project know matter the size.
Extremely unhelpful, apparently I was not the "caliber" of clients that the manager was used to "helping." I suppose that if you have a real mansion to renovate she might deign to be helpful, but if you just own an upper-middle class home in San Francisco, don't bother going here.
