My wife went to Hamilton's fabric row (Ottawa St) in search of new fabric to recover 4 kitchen stools. Finding that, she was referred to FOAMLAND as a good place for recovering. We visited Foamland and the staff there are very friendly and welcoming. We found the pricing was very fair and much better than terrible prices locally in Oakville. I dropped the chairs off and they were ready ahead of promised date. The work is beautifully done and obvious that care and skill went into the work. It was definitely worth the trips to Hamilton and I don't post many reviews, so this business is a keeper for sure. Thanks to the Foamland team for our project.

Fantastic little shop! I've purchased from them on many occasions. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you need foam or anything textile, they can help you. Located conveniently on Ottawa st, surrounded by many small businesses, it is sometimes difficult to find street parking, but it is a nice area to walk around. Through the pandemic they have moved their service counter to the front door to serve the customer more easily and safely. Only two customers are allowed in at one time and masks and sanitizing are mandatory, but they conveniently have hand sanitizer upon entry.

I have now been to Foam Land twice - the first to get brand new cushions made for a vintage chair (see red chair), and the second to get new pillows made. In both cases we brought a blanket in, and attempted to describe our vision. The workmanship is great and includes touches like building in zippers to cushions that I didn't expect. Prices seem reasonable, though I don't have a lot to compare to. Be sure to outline exactly what you want to happen and I expect you'll get a great outcome. Edit: almost forgot, they work very quickly!

Businesses are usually judged on two main issues - the quality of their work and their focus on customer service. Foam Land excels in both areas! I recently had two large chairs re-upholstered with excellent results. In addition, I needed what I would call a silly little job done which most companies would have refused. Not only did they agree to do it for me but it was done in record time and at a very reasonable cost. Thank you!

After checking with several upholstery places and reading reviews, I chose Foamland and was 100% satisfied. I inherited a chair that was over 100 years old and needed work. Ted replaced everything but the original springs and it is so comfortable to sit in now. The fabric design is lined up perfectly and the wooden frame was repaired and is solid. They are very busy and the wait is several months, but worth the wait.

Super friendly staff, I was in need of a large quantity of foam for tool drawer cutouts and they delivered on in stock foam. When I needed more they had already ordered additional sheets in to suit my needs. Clean foam and straight forward honest staff. Some photos attached of what I was able to do with black acoustic foam from them and multiple heavy duty Olfa utility knife blades.

OMG cannot believe the fantastic job by Ted and Adam on my 20-year old leather couch from Sears - it was drooping and sagging terribly - called Ted and my couch is now back home, new webbing, new foam in the cushions and I'm so happy I don't have to spend $5,000 + for a new replacement. Service was swift, awesome, and fantastic - I can't recommend this company enough.

Foam Land helped us extend the life of an Ikea sofa bed (Delaktig) that needed a large, custom-sized cushion/mattress. We opted for 5-inch thick foam and a 1-inch topper that was perfectly cut on the spot and reasonably priced. Super thankful for their guidance and help – the new cushion is a huge upgrade over the original!

Great family run biz. We had new cushions made for our leather couch (in contrasting fabric rather than trying to match the leather) in March 2020, just before the initial lockdown. A year later, it has been one of our best decisions. After almost constant use, these cushions look great, have worn well and remained firm.

Very rude and dismissive. I asked one question: could they recover two Ottomans. I was told “well you can’t leave those today, You have to send an email and wait your turn. We are booking for March.” Imagine that: driving to Hamilton to be told I have to leave the store, go home and sign up.

Ted at Foam Land did an excellent job recushioning my 20 year old Natuzzi leather couch and love seat. I expect to get another 20 years out them. The store has courteous staff and were right on with their estimate of completion. They price their work reasonably, Very satisfied!!!!

Great workmanship. I am a repeat customer. Ted first covered two antique chairs for us, the best part was how he coordinated the patterns of a floweral design on each chair. Second job was to build replacement cushions for our rattan kitchen chairs. Finished product was great.

They did an awesome job refilling our outdoor cushions. They make sure you are satisfied with it before they are done. They offered us different ways to fill them and try it out. Only complaint is the price they charged for the job. Very expensive for stuffing.

Amazing!!! I was looking for fill for a giant couch cushion and a fresh piece was waaaay outta my price range. I was able to buy a GIANT bag of remnants ranging in size (1-2" off cuts of HD) for less than $20 and I'll be able to shred and make it work :)

I went here today to get a piece of foam for my truck to sleep on and the owners were so lovely and helpful. Even loaded the foam in my car for me !! Definitely will recommend and if I ever need to replace this I'll definitely be returning ! Thank you!

This store has the most helpful staff! My husband thought we needed a new couch, I thought maybe I could DIY it. Based on the suggestions I got at Foam Land, I bought some webbing for $9 and was able to get my couch to as good as new!

They stuffed my couch cushions in about two hours. Super solid but soft. Friendly service and their estimate of price was pretty close to what I paid. Plus there are some good stores on the same street to wander in while you wait.
