Great local hub for art shows and performances. This space has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years and is deeply connected to the community. Gallery is open most days and also puts on the Crown Heights Film Festival every year.
Quaint and small gallery. Or maybe the side I visited. Clean and I liked the exhibition. I chose not to take photos due to the possibility of copyright infringement. It is a nice break from walking in the neighborhood. :-)
Great place to showcase your art as well as see other exhibits. This place is a hidden gem operating over 30 years and located right off of Eastern Parkway and right in the heart of Crown Heights. …
Fun free art shows, sometimes with free wine and snacks. A great cornerstone of the community that helps showcase local, original art. Worth dropping by every month or so to see what's new.
The staff there are very kind a n d helpful especially the elderly lady. Unfortunately I did not get her name. The artwork is beautiful.
There are always abandoned wrecked vehicles parked on the sidewalk in front of this address. Is this an art gallery or an auto shop?
5 miles has operated under the radar for a long long time. What an amazing place. More people should know about it!
One of the smaller art spaces in Brooklyn, but clearly among the most dynamic and innovative.
Eclectic art space with modernist shows. Host to solo shows of some unique Brooklyn artists.
Interesting programming and vision. Improvements to the physical space should be considered.
Art comes in different media, weither you like it or not, 5 myles always makes you think.
The art work here is nothing like you will ever see any place else.
What a great performance in such a wonderful gallery.
