Just saw the news! I’m appalled! Never ever ever giving family dollar my business again. We had them do something similar years ago over nail polish because the lady said they are trained to see if you put it down, come to find out it was put down. Never even an apology. It’s something with the training at these particular stores and this almost got a whole family including that poor pregnant mother murdered. SHAME on you people!!!! Over a 99 cent doll!!!

For different shoppers it will be three to five stars. This address at 36th St & McDowell is more like a General Store than a Dollar Store. Why? Some emamples might be a large amount of clothes, many items far more than a dollar, name brands, smaller stock and choice than typical Dollar type stores. I looked for a clear glass item which many Dollar Stores would have various choices. This actually is a plus. You will have a different mix of choices.

So I once again tried shopping here and again such a negative experience. The manager had such a nasty attitude, and yes a different manager. They still had tags up from sales from the week before, as you can see no one is doing their job. I could have made a big deal about it but I left it alone. I guess one day they will find a good manager for this store

Generally, it is okay. It depends the days you go. Some days can be awesome. Some days can be hell. The employees become hostile immediately when customers are disrespectful. The best times to avoid this place is at night. Hoodrats, Gangsters, all sorts of bad people come here to shop. My preference of time to come here is in the morning.

Prices are great, just as you'd expect. It's crowded though, and less than clean. The staff is too busy to be attentive. It also is not very well organized. It can be difficult to find what you're looking for even when you're in the right section. I'll be back though because many things are cheaper than you'll find elsewhere.

Its ok some of the people working there are very nice its this dark skin gril she always smile and very polite store great i recomend it to any body One think remember it's a dollar store items are not the best quality .what more you want for a buck

Great place to shop for quick trips and last items. I only gave four stars since the store was messy but that was due to the Christmas Eve rush. Lines went by quickly even with only cashier. They were super nice and helpful.

Based on my experience here, the store was decent overall. Customer service was okay. Store seemed organized. Not the cleanest place, but not the worst I've seen either. Would maybe recommend and maybe return.

This store almost got a family murdered by police for a 99 cent doll that a little gile walked out with that her parents didn't notice!!! I hope you feel justified for calling the police on a little girl!!!

They use to be good... But this store on 36th st. and McDowell Rd. Has gotten rid of all their good people or the others quit. If it aint broke don't fix it. Now I'm looking for somewhere else to shop

The place not very clean it's actually drity. Seem like there to much merchandise stuff everywhere. Other then that there are some really great buys. Lot of sales.

Store is more cleaner, less line, and more of a selection now. Employees sometimes have trouble knowing where their own items are but not all, just some.

My experience was a good one. Found everything i needed and with ease. The selves where a little bare in spots. But that is normal at a time like this.

It’s 8:15 and no ones here to open the store! Talk about lazy! I hope the manager see’s this, that way someone can be fired over this. Ridiculous!!

The employees are excellent here. They are all friendly and helpful. The manager is excellent, friendly and always has a smile on her face.

For a dollar store I found that the prices were a little high and the wasn't much for just a dollar.
