To be fair I haven't actually gone there and based on my phone call with them I won't. The woman that answered didn't identify the business. I asked "Hi, do you guys have a good selection of Discus?" She answered "Some." I then asked if they had any pigeon blood Discus. "I don't know" was her reply. I asked but you do have a lot of Discus since it's in the name. Her reply again? Some. I may stop by when I'm in SF to go to a different fish shop, but so far I'm not liking this business. If I am wrong I'll come back and change my review accordingly.

Old people. With their adult kids help still working. Say thanks to them. Best store in the city. Wish them to continue as they can. Absolutely professional and dedicated to the fish business. Best Discuses ever. Just ignore they rudeness. They are expects real fish kipper , not some jerks with stupid questions.

They do not care about the animals health! One prime example is alowing all the male beta to see each other, this makes them very stressed. They do this so that the beta show off their colors and sails but this makes them extreamly stressed and they probly kill alot of them just to try to make sales. So sad!

I showed up during the listed hours, but the shop was closed. A sign said that the posted times are "usually" their hours. That was disappointing, since I drove all the way from the Mission. I'm hopeful I'll be able to come back when they are open some day, and actually see the store!

The owners are unpredictable, friendly one day and totally unhelpful the next. It's a small mom and pop shop with for the most part healthy livestock, but it comes down to service and on my last visit i was totally unimpressed.
