I recently visited the Exxon gas station, and while the station itself is decent, I couldn't help but notice a significant issue with the staff's knowledge about using coupons. It was clear that they lacked proper training in this area, which was quite frustrating as a customer. Furthermore, it appeared that the owner may not be enthusiastic about utilizing coupons to provide customers with discounts. This gave the impression that profit maximization was a higher priority than offering deals to loyal patrons. In summary, while the Exxon gas station is generally fine, the staff's lack of training in coupon usage and the owner's apparent reluctance to make use of them for customer benefits left a disappointing impression on my visit. Improved staff training and a more customer-oriented approach regarding coupons would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Everything is expensive here, but it is in an extremely convenient location. Just in cade anyone reads these reviews ever, there is nearly always at least one houston police cruiser hiding next to the pumps on the northern side of the quick-eee-mart during afternoon rush hour and during peak West/Southwest egress times on weekends and holidays. He/she/it hides there to catch vehicles heading west on Westheimer make an illegal left (southern) turn onto S Shepherd. Just chill and turn at the next street.

I've come to this gas station a couple of times now and the credit card slot is jammed & won't let me stick my card in. I went inside to tell the Attendant and he was very kind & professional about. I appreciate him a lot. EXXON however needs to step up to the plate and fix the gas pumps so you can slide your card in without running the risk of it getting stuck or breaking off. Seriously, EXXON, you guys have made so much profit on the past decades & you gas pumps jam when we're trying to pay?!

The cashiers don’t really care about customers. The station to put air in tires never seems to work right. Third time in a year... no more, and hence the review. Calling the number is useless. You get a recorded message and have to leave a message for credit, which I did, but don’t expect anything to happen. The cashier said it isn’t their responsibility, but the recording had an option to indicate if caller is the gas station. If the cashier cared, they’d call when they’re free.

I’m on my way to work and the employee has closed the entire store until she finishes her cigarette she says this is the only store before my job and it would make me late to turn around to go to another store not to mention whoever she was hanging with was blowing a Vape in a store. I had no choice to wait because like I said there’s not another store before my job. I don’t think that it is professional at all

The gas station itself seemed fine but after being accosted for several minutes by a person who verbally assaulted me, used racial epithets and threatened bodily harm, I will never return. This situation happened around 11:30am on a Monday in full visibility of all passersby. Extremely thankful for and grateful to the random strangers passing by who stopped and confronted the person who was an obvious threat.

The staff could not possibly care less. The card readers never work properly and give different, inconsistent messages about whether to leave the card in or pull quickly. They do, however, usually have the cheapest gas in Montrose. Occasionally the price is comparable to that of cypress and Magnolia area. Just dont go here if you're running late or its rush hour.

Always a clean place. The exterior and interior are always well maintained. The staff is always well groomes and always friendly. This location has a clean and functional restroom. The location is handicap accessible. This location also has a well maintained carwash with 3 different options.

Best place to fill up your tires. The machine takes credit cards & you can set the machine to your desired air pressure. I complete all 4 tires in about 2 minutes. Easy to get in & out of and also has a car wash - perfect for when you just need to get all of the pollen off of your car!

This gas station made two charges on my card. When I called to resolve, I was placed on hold for several minutes and no one came back to the phone. I called several more times and no one answered. Do not go to this gas station.

This guy that’s working tonight December 26 at 2 AM came to the window I told him what I wanted and then disappeared for 30 minutes and still hasn’t came out and people coming and going because he doesn’t wanna work

There are like 24 pumps here for gas. 18 of the 24 have yellow bags “sorry not for service”. If you wanna sure way of losing consistent customers, having 75% of your pumps inoperable is a great way to do it.

The tan guy is very special he only messed up 6 times putting the gas on the wrong pump twice and putting the wrong amount on the pump once he finally managed to get me the over priced gas

Came at 12:40am on a Saturday. The dude took almost 20 mins to help me out. Had to suggest people behind me go across the street, and they even finished their business faster than I did.

Sorry there's nothing we can do. That's the answer you'll receive if you need assistance with anything other than buying your gas and slim Jim and getting out.

They sale the car wash service in cash at cashier but then for vacuum the car they don’t . How can you offer me a car wash with no vacuum service???

I've only been here twice but the neighborhood seems nice, the cashier lady was sweet and the prices weren't too high so not bad

The place is always clean, restrooms stocked and the clerks friendly! I'm here alot and have never been disappointed.

Good gas at a pretty good price, but the location is tough with heavy traffic on Sheppard and Westheimer.

Our go-to for gasoline. Well lit at night. Clean restrooms. 8 pumps. Adequate quick shop.

The credit card terminals from all pumps are new, clean, and pleasant to use.
