I can only listen to so many top 40 hits from the 60s and 70s. I don't dislike pop music, but the monotony is getting a little bit much. I have been going to Eumarrah for years. I have issue with this place as it does not sell certified organic produce or other grocery items that are certified organic. I have seen Eumarrah get worse over the years, the quality of their produce for instance. They have also stopped selling grocery items, such as certified organic 3kg orange nets, 500g italian spelt pasta that was certified organic. I have also customer service that was arrogant. I am rethinking about where I am doing my shopping, due to these issues, stale tasting items I don't think are quality. They don't label their products or shelves properly. I have yet to hear them play heavy metal, I am sick of Elton John and the Bee Gees. I am yet to hear them play, 'I don't like Monday's,' by the Boomtown Rats, nor 'Turning Japanese,' by The Vapors, or 'Video killed the Radio Star,' by The Bugles or 'My Sharona,' by The Knack.

I absolutely love Eumarrah! Their commitment to sourcing fresh, organic, and locally grown Tassie produce is impressive and I love how abundant (and affordable) their fresh produce selection is now. It's awesome to see them supporting local growers and the connection of knowing where our food comes from. I especially love their deli sweets and slices (hello raw mint slice), as well as the HUGE bulk refill section - it's the biggest range in Hobart I've found with soooo many options to shop plastic free with your own containers. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and it always has a nice warm community feel. As someone who values supporting local, organic and sustainable shopping, Eumarrah is a true gem and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Eumarrah Hobart has such a welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere when entering. Always greeted with a smile from staff. The fruit and vegetable department always has local, seasonal and organic produce, my son’s favourite juicy watermelon I love the bulk area, filling up organic spices as much as you need so works out much cheaper and with no packaging! Staff are happy for a chat about ingredients, recipes, how to prepare things or will help you figure out the answer if they don’t know. The made in house salad, bakes and treats are a family favourite. Quick lunches and dinners mid week for lazy nights, super fresh and tasty, not to mention gluten free and vegan!

Full disclosure I am a former employee of Eumarrah but fully endorse them prior, during and after working for the company. Eumarrah has a huge and consistent range of in season, organic and when we're lucky extremely local produce. They have a huge range of bulk products as well as product knowledge and a strong focus on customers satisfaction and well-being. Staff deeply and genuinely give their best selves to customers and providing service that I am yet to find anywhere else as a customer. I hope to see Eumarrah continue to grow and thrive for the coming years and continue to be a store like no other.

They made a mistake and fixed it. Kudos to them. I am stuck at home at the moment and someone collected my order. Something was missed and I had no way to collect it for four days. So they sent it by courier. Luckily I don't live too far away. And generally Eumarrah is an amazing store - their range of products is impressive and their online shop highly usable. I hope Eumarrah remains a Hobart institution for a long time to come..

Fabulous customer service always. I seem to shop here every day for something I’ve run out of (because I work round the corner); the range is extensive and quality is what is strives for. If something is out of stock the staff look up the computer to see when it’s due back in. The staff are Always friendly and super helpful, hardworking, and the shop is being cleaned and restocked all day long. I love shopping here!

Great place to get all your supplies with using own packaging and reducing your plastic imprint in the world. Great organic selection as well. It is a bit pricey and would love to see some meat and dairy (and vegan dairy) products available in non-plastic but part of this is what the producers and regulations stipulate. Highly recommend if looking for a place for great healthy, organis and non-plastic options.

Eumareah offer a wide variety of organic products, ranging from fresh produce to pantry staples. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable which is a big tick for me. They have extensive product selection and with a layout is well-organised, making it easy to navigate and locate the items you need. The attention to detail in maintaining a clean and inviting environment adds to the overall shopping experience.

I went to eumarrah my whole childhood with my parents but when I returned for the first time in a while we were treated like we weren’t good enough for the shop and like we didn’t know how it worked. The staff seem to look down on people who don’t seem to be the right fit for the shop. It’s not an inviting place. I will not return and it has ruined a lot of good childhood memories

Disappointed that gluten free foods (such as cakes) are stored with gluten containing foods so that people with coeliacs disease can't eat them. Concerned that gluten free bulk items are in close proximity to items with gluten which increases risk of cross contamination. A little bit of thought and re-organisation would make such a big difference.

Great place to shop in Hobart with a huge range of spices and bulk dry goods catering to a very diverse customer base. Very helpful staff, especially in times of a global pandemic and a million queries about bread and yeast, they are doing their best to help customers out and keep themselves sane. Kudos to them.

Take in your own container. Use the customer courtesy scales to weigh container. Use phone to take pic of weight for verification. Fill container. Take container to checkout. They will subtract the weight and you'll not need to use paper or plastic bags for carriage. Most excellent.

The range of produce is vast and the quality is great but too expensive on many items. A staff member was a little rude when I asked them about a particular product as if I were less than intelligent for not knowing. However overall not a bad experience. Prefer Nature's Works still.

  • Laura Forsyth

Wide range of products, great customer service. The zero waste process of using your own jars is easy and hassle free. They cater for gluten free, dairy free and vegans with ease! (My hot secret is that their GF brownie in the deli case is the best I have EVER tasted!)

  • Jefri Yang

Its my first time shopping here! I was so impressed! This organic store has everything that you need! Veggies, sweets, nuts & drinks. They do sell kombucha as well! If you are an organic lover, you should stop by and check out this store! Its close to CBD as well.

  • Sarah McMahon

The most wonderful organic food shop around. Everything you need from vegan foods, fruit and veg, cleaning products, and of course a huge range of bulk fruit and nuts and different muesli's. They have an amazing deli, with all sorts of delicious take home foods.

  • Jenny McDonald

Well said Em. This place is horrible now. The managers are so rude. They sell out of date products at high costs and I heard talk about rat traces in the muesli. It is a shame to see how bad Eumarrah has become since just late last year. …

  • Alissa Ward

Really great selection of products. I was happily surprised to realise they sold more than just food on my first visit and that they had many eco-friendly products to reduce plastic within your personal care routine as well!

  • Kacie Walker

The largest range of bulk foods I have come across with an exceptional selection for camping including. Dried milk, tom. Paste, dried corn and ready prepared meals that are light weight.

  • Xavi Aguilera Cantón

Healthy, fresh, organic, local, sustainable, gluten free, lactose free and even homemade recipes. I could spend whole days looking at and testing your products. Great job!
