The best tacos in the area. All kinds of tacos, carnitas, chicken, pastor, 3 different beef, are very good. Tacos are here way better than any other regular Mexican restaurants’. 10/23/2018 I ordered 2 pastors and 2 chicken taco. The best tacos ever I tasted. My daughter had a chicken burrito. My son ordered pastor burrito and a Lomo taco. All of them are so good and delicious. 11/1018 We ordered Caldo de Res( beef stew) along with other 6 tacos and 1 torta. The stew is very good, hearty, real deal. I think everyone should try at least once. 2/26/2019 I went this place for myself. I ordered 2 pastor, 2 pollo, 1 lomo, 1 lingua. It was the best meal I ever had for long time. 7/12/19 Still the best taco shop in the town. 9/29/2019 We ordered 4 chicken, 4 pastor, 1 lengua. El Rey tacos is still the best place for tacos.

I have lived in the area for the last 4-5 years and this has been my go to place for certain groceries and when I want an occasional burrito or tacos, I visit the restaurant too. On weekends, they serve carnitas and they are so good. I have noticed that the price of certain things have gone up, but people have to understand that at most Mexican/Latin stores, the price is usually higher than your local Walmart. Its a small business and they probably have more overhead costs. There are certain things I can't get at my local grocery store such as Milagro brand tortillas or certain spices. I have had no issues and will continue to support my local business..

Cuidado cuando vayan a comer aquí / Careful when eating here En el restaurante de adentro me sirvieron una quesadilla y cuando iba a comer, le mordí a dos fibras de metal que salieron de los utensilios que usan para limpiar los platos. Me sangro la lengua. Les deje saber a los empleados, ojalá tengan mas cuidado. Fue dinero perdido. In the restaurant inside I was given a quesadilla where I bit into two metal fiber pieces from one of the utensils they use to clean the plates. Made my tongue bleed. Told the staff and I hope they’re more careful in the future. Wasted money.

One star is too much for this store. The customer service is horrible. Their Meat is over priced. Spanish product's are way over price. They aren't aware what items are on sale. Therefore, they will not give discount if item is 2 for 5, you will still pay full price for the item. Their product is not fresh at all. The avocado are rotting away in the shelf in a refrigerator at 2.49 ea.

Tuve una mala experiencia ase ocho días compre carne y me etiquetaron algo Diferente y más caro reclame pero dijeron que el presio era el mismo y que no avía problemas así no volveré a comprar nada muchos años tuve que comprar algo de verduras pero esta ves fallaron y el punto es que la gerencia no hay reclamos es directamente al departamento qué sea el producto. If you want real mexican food, go here. Taco Bell or whatever "authentic and chic" Mexican place in Indy are no match for this humble grocery. Their Tacos and Burritos are exquisite. Oh, and the grocery itself is great.

Huge store! Nice staff! Good selection! The food smells soooo good. I didn't get time to eat though.lots of hair products also. No long lines either and big parking lot.

Love the Mexican restaurant and the products that they sell but the fruit, mostly peaches, are sometimes old looking. Also it is a little expensive but worth it.

Fantastic it's close to where I live bout a 7 minute walk. Affordable prices. And carries every Mexican item I am shopping for. El Rey is my favorite store.
