I highly recommend Dr Cavendish! I have struggled with a lifetime fear of dental work, and avoided seeing a dentist for nearly 10 years. Dr Cavendish was personally recommended to me and she could not possibly have handled my fears with more care and concern. I have never experienced a kinder, more compassionate dentist in my life. Dr Cavendish and her staff held my hand through the entire process and spent an extraordinary amount of time just talking to me about my history, concerns, and fears. They asked questions, listened to me and genuinely cared about me. They thoroughly laid out the process and together we came up with a plan to address my worries. When it came time for the procedures, I was not even nervous because I felt so well cared for and trusted them so much. During the procedures Dr Cavendish worked swiftly and efficiently, checking in with me frequently, and before I knew it, it was over. It was a breeze and I experienced no pain! I have never experienced pain-free dental work in my life! I can honestly say I am "cured" of my fear of dental work due to Dr Cavendish and her staff. Beyond this, her office is beautiful, state-of-the-art, and modern. She is always punctual, incredibly smart, and very well-versed on all of the most recent advances in the restorative and cosmetic dental industry. She now cares for my entire family, and we would never see anyone else for our dental work ever again. Dr Cavendish and her staff are BY FAR the best there is in northeast Florida and beyond! Seriously the best dentist and dental office in existence!! I absolutely love coming here. They’re practice is exactly how a medical office should be run. ~ Efficient with their schedule (I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 5 minutes). ~ The office is beautiful, organized and clean. ~ A wonderful and experienced staff who knows you by name and takes exceptional care of you…from the front desk, to the coordinators, to your hygienist (shout out to my girl Lexi!). Truly feels like a family. ~ Cleanings are a breeze. They offer you a blanket and headphones to watch TV. And not just public TV, they have Netflix! It’s like binging shows at home, while getting your teeth squeaky clean. The best. ~ And then there is Dr. Cavendish…who is AMAZING! Any procedure I’ve had with her has been a great experience. If you are afraid of the dentist, then you need to read my review. I have been going to the office of Drs. Cavendish and Edwards for over ten years. They are truly amazing. It is rare to find doctors who actually care and take time to listen and support you when you are in fear. The entire office staff is gracious, professional and caring. They take their time, they answer questions, they make you feel comfortable putting your health in their hands. I recently had to undergo root canal for which I needed to schedule with an endodontist. Both Drs. Cavendish and Edwards took time out for me to talk to me by phone to make sure I was feeling okay after my root canal procedure. Dr. Edwards has texted me to support me through days of questions and fear while I was waiting for an appointment with an endodontist. I understand the fear of the dentist, but this office is so supportive that you will find comfort. They are amazing skilled dentists. I thank them and their office staff, Michelle, Terri, Marianne, and every one else so very much for their support. They are the best!!!

I was recommended to Dr. Cavendish by a friend. So happy to have found this office. I had been spoiled with a family dentist, that I had for 16 years! He retired, and I (hate to admit this) went more than a year without finding another one. At my initial appointment, I was warmly welcomed by Michelle in the front. The waiting area is calm, warm and a pleasant place to wait. I had all of my X-rays and such taken with Jaron (who is bubbly, and puts you at ease!) She was very knowledgeable and didn't just take the X-rays. She WENT THROUGH THEM ALL WITH ME, making sure I understood everything. Dr. Cavendish came in, and felt more like a friend than your dentist. She was so knowledgeable, but made me feel knowledgeable also. She listened to my wants/concerns and put together a great plan for me. A few weeks later I went back to the office for a cleaning with Valeria. She was wonderful. Oh (and the TV on the ceiling to take your mind off any discomfort? Brilliant!) I'm a fan, and think I've found my next 16 year dentist. Bravo ladies.

We have been patients for over 14 years. They take care of our whole family - all five of us. I have referred many friends and family to them and they are never disappointed! Both the doctors and the staff are caring and considerate, They go out of their way to accommodate any needs that arise above regularly scheduled appointments. They take great care in explaining costs involved with needed procedures to make certain there are no surprises and are happy to work out payment arrangements if needed. Both my husband and my son have had braces done in their office. My husband did Invisalign and my son went the traditional route. Both with outstanding results. They specialize in cutting edge dentistry but not with the added expense. They want to provide the most efficient and thorough care for their patients. I could not be happier with our entire family’s experience. We love this practice!

Before coming for my first visit, I knew that I was going to feel comfortable at this office. My appointment was scheduled a few weeks out originally but Merry Anne the patient coordinator called me later that day to see if I wanted to come in the next day- I was pleasantly surprised of the thoughtfulness!! The front office ladies were very friendly and made me feel welcomed upon arriving at office. I know this is important from my past working in a dental office- first impressions! Michelle my dental assistant for the appointment was wonderful at discussing my health history and concerns making me feel like a friend more that just another patient. Dr. Cavendish was awesome- might be a little biased since her name is Shelly also but she is great!! Very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease when discussing my treatment plan. I would highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient at Edwards & Cavendish for over 21 years. No matter where I lived, Tallahassee or the tri-county area of Jacksonville, these ladies have been my dental team. Theresa is my go to hygienist and keeps me cavity free, but you can't go wrong with any of the ladies. Jaryn, I will always love for knowing that exact moment you think you are going to freak out while getting molds made, and she swoops in with her encouraging voice and words. Estelle Michelle is my favorite receptionist as her voice just soothes me like that of an angel. You're in good hands with Terry as she has you covered on all your insurance questions. Merry Anne will answer all your billing questions with a smile. The doctors have their jobs made easy with a great staff, which helps me to have great teeth, and the docs get an easy appointment out of me!!! Love all my E&C family!!

If there’s a blueprint of how customer service works, look no more. Everyone is welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk in the door. The place is so tidy. Everyone is as professional as you’d expect them to be. And they have state-of-the-art equipments. Dental anxiety? You’ll most likely forget it after you walk out the door. Sam was friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Edwards explained everything in detail and procedures that needs to take place. They’re both very comforting and assuring. When it came to checking out, every single detail of the bill was explained and they help you how to take advantage of your dental benefits.Highly recommended and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am so GRATEFUL for Dr. Edwards! I have suffered with complicated jaw and bite issues most of my life - which made going to the dentist an extremely stressful experience. What can I say. My first appointment at this place was the most relaxing, pleasant, professional, and hilarious dental experience of my life. My denits is my famiy. I call on a Friday when they was close and my denits took the time to review my exrays and sent me to an endodonitcs because she believed I needed a root canal. And for sure I needed one. What makes them great is they know I have a phobia for the denists so they call ahead and let them know how I am and made sure my nitrous was there for me. When I was done and was checking out the assistance at the front desk said my dentist called and check on me. Now that is what I will call somehting wonderful when your dentist really care. They make you feel like family

Only went because it was recommended for children and we needed a place to take our son. I liked everyone so much that I made an appt for myself and have not missed an appt since. I feel a loyalty and a commitment to them to take care of my teeth. All friendly and caring. They know how to handle your insurance and your billing. Parking is paid. Great staff. I have been terrified of the Dentist since I was a kid, since then I have always been reluctant on going. I had so much pain that I had to call and ask for an emergancy appointment. Edwards and Cavendish are amazing! I went in for my routine cleaning and my hygienist saw my tooth had chipped. Dr. Cavendish quickly offered to do the repair while I was there, even at 4:00pm! The staff is always super friendly and easily accommodating. I personally appreciate that they stay on schedule and make it easy to pop over from work and get a quick cleaning.

I’m not a fan of the dentist, and get a little anxiety about going. I always put it off. However, this group is so kind and friendly, I felt a sense of comfort and ease. I’m actually excited about getting my teeth taken care of finally.

I get so very anxious at the dentist. Jessica took fabulous care of me. Dr Jones is a rock star. She made sure I didn’t hurt at all. I had a lot of work to be done and they got it done. I will be back. Thank you for everything ladies!!

I had a dental emergency on Tuesday evening (had an old crown break). They squeezed me in first thing in the morning and I was able to get everything thing fixed and a realistic treatment plan started right away. Great office!
