5 Stars for the actual park I fly RC Planes and drones, and the flyzone here is huge. It's rarely occupied by anyone, but I found out that may be for good reason. I've been here 3 times, and have only ever seen families with their children, elderly couples on a stroll, or people training/walking dogs. For someone who has an RC Hobby, the level of interactions from non-flyers is perfect. The most I've gotten is someone taking pictures or recording tricks/slip sailing. Here's why I gave the park 2 stars - on my 1st time visiting the park, my car was broken into and someone stole $50 in loose emergency gas $ and my $1200 phone. I tracked it back to the park where it went offline, and went back to the park twice that day. Used my bluetooth watch to try and locate it. I never removed the phone from the car - someone else did. It really surprised me that a park this far north had any crime issues like this. Petty theft? At a family park - that's just wrong. It's one thing if my phone is left outside and someone finds it and takes it home to try and reunite me with it. Problem is - phone was turned off after it was removed from my car. I'd gladly update to 5 stars if something was done to make the parking lot safer. Hate to say it - as it's a bit big-brother - but perhaps cameras in the parking lot are warranted. I'll definitely come back to fly again, but I won't do it without securing all belongings on my person. Visitors beware - someone is hanging out near the parking lot, and clearly has no qualms breaking into car.

Came here to meet up with some friends for a toddler play date. There were two playgrounds next to eachother. One for 2-5 and another for 5 and up. Both were well maintained. There was also a big, open field, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a walking/running path circumventing the field. Everything looked great, with a fair amount of families with kids playing. Only downside was the parking. The lot along Dynamite is small, so if you get there after 10 you better prepare to park along the street. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Not too many tables either. From what I can remember, there was one section of covered seating by the tennis courts. It's a fun park, and we will be back again.

Great park to bring the kids from 3yrs old to teens. Big open park to fly kites or airplanes or just play soccer or football. Basketball courts could use some attention thoe and more seating around the playground would be nice especially in some shaded areas while watching the kids play. Limited parking during busy hours but I see most parents park off the street side when that happens.

Fun park, lots of people during the day and less at night. They have tennis courts, a massive field, and a bigger play area for kids, and a smaller one more fit for babies and younger children. They also have a basketball court and another small field next to it, as well as a oning with benches, where you can have a birthday party, chill, or just eat lunch.

  • Joy Ring

Nice shaded play area for the kids with a verity of climbing structures. Giant open field area great to play ball in. They have a circle sidewalk around the walking area that has the tenth miles marked on it in case you want to jog while the kids play. Dog friendly as well.

  • Justin Mills

This is the only park for youth sports practices within miles. It has no bathroom. NO BATHROOM. The grass is poorly maintained. The rocks in the grass guarantee cuts and scrapes woth every fall. Unfortunately, it's the only choice and the city seems aware of this fact.

  • Barbara Schechter

Great local park with jungle gyms, tennis courts, large grass area that's well maintained. Dog friendly and some trees for shade. Benches along the perimeter which is sidewalk. Ample parking unless school sporting groups. Good all purpose spot.

  • Deanna Dyer

My little dog loves the park, so we decided to check this one out. I'm impressed. Huge walking path. Tennis courts, lots of green grass which my dog loves. Drinking fountains, playground, but I didn't see a restroom.

  • Mike Weddle

We walk here when are in town visiting relatives. No bathrooms, a drinking water fountain, tennis courts, children play area and .06 mile concrete paved walkway. This park is also zoned for drone flying.

  • Tiffany Gutierrez

Great park with a little bit of everything - tennis courts, beautiful paved walking path, small covered playground for kids, and lots of field for dogs and remote control airplanes (designated area).

  • Dee Sroufe

Very nice park but there are no restrooms available. With all the boys sports practice I can just imagine how the trees get watered. Plus there is little parking.

  • Jesse Beerman

My son and i love this park. We can break out the rc trucks for some epic bashing in the runoff by the bridge and then hit the park for play time! Awesome spot.

  • Nicholas Scatterday

My favorite park as a kid and teen I grew up here. Alyways maintained and very clean most times. Hours inforced so not much hoodlums hang out there now a days.

  • Melinda Hase

What a great place tucked away in the neighborhood. Great walking paths (concrete) has a playground, and tennis courts. Lots of grass and open spaces.

  • Dan Duffey

Great for gatherings, kids playing, and tennis! Could use more courts however, nowadays every one is full whenever you arrive, there's always a wait.

  • msbusyblonde

Huge grass area for kids and dogs. Love the sidewalk lap around the entire place. Imagine, basketball courts, tennis...it's just missing a bathroom

  • Vana T

Clean park with a nice paved sidewalk, great for strollers and wheelchairs. Big open space for kids to place and the playground was well kept.

  • A.T. Holder

Great place to take kids. Playground it's slightly covered to protect against sun. Water fountains don't work would be the only improvement.

  • Steve Paskiewicz

Grandson's birthday Sunday late afternoon had the park all to ourselves. Football. Soccer. Tennis. Drone. Track. No toilet though.
