I injured my knee whilst playing sports. I had visited various doctors and medical professionals over the course of the year, who had not managed to accurately diagnose my issue. Not satisfied with the diagnosis, I researched Orthopedic Surgeons specializing in sports injuries and came across Dr. Ashish Soni. The reviews were fantastic and was reiterated by some chance personal interactions with some of his previous patients. From the very first consultation, Dr. Ashish was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant in his approach and immediately suspected a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and several meniscus tears. I was referred to get some imaging, which reinforced his initial suspicions and finally providing some answers to my issues. Dr. Ashish was very reassuring and patient, explaining in detail the nature of the injury, answers to my concerns, working with me to evaluate available treatment options and ultimately select the appropriate treatment. We decided that for my circumstances, ACL reconstruction surgery made the most sense and started the process of preparing for surgery. On the day of surgery, the whole process was seamless from admission to recovery and the surgery itself was very successful – it was clear that Dr. Ashish was very experienced in this surgery and performed it very efficiently addressing both the ACL and the meniscus. During recovery, Dr. Ashish made sure regularly schedule post-operative follow ups with me to track the progress of my recovery. I am currently 3 months post-surgery and could not be happier with my decision to consult with Dr. Ashish and my recovery to date. Dr. Ashish is an extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced surgeon and I thoroughly recommend him.

I did a lot of research when I was considering surgery for my torn meniscus, I came across a lot of different doctors whom I visited before finalizing Dr. Ashish as my doctor. There are a number of reasons for my decision and I hope if you have the same questions or concerns, this will help. 1. I was not sure about surgery, unlike other doctors I visited, Dr. Ashish read my report and was able to tell me that surgery was not needed as long as I'm not active but was necessary for me to get back into sports and living healthy 2. He ran a full assessment and didn't show any signs of just forcing me into surgery but rather sat with me and explained everything to me. His analysis were new, no other doctor examined my knee the same way and this built confidence instantly. 3. He is super friendly and was very professional with the way he answers question. I HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS. Other doctors told me that they know what they are saying and I need to do surgery without really answering my concerns (they were always in a hurry) 4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he is a meniscus expert, meaning unlike others he will actually try his best to save your meniscus rather than cut it out like other have suggested. This is really important to consider as you don't want to have other issues as you get older. A great doctor overall, I just hope that the hospital had a better process of outpatients as they were no follow up appointments or instructions given either on call or by email.

At the time of writing this I am 3 months post ACL reconstruction surgery. I think it‘s important to begin by saying that when I first met Dr. Ashish I was really pleasantly welcomed by a fist bump and a happy face. This told me in an instant that Dr. Ashish can read the person in front of him and welcome them in a way that would make them feel comfortable. In regard to the pre-op consultation, Dr. Ashish further made me feel at ease by answering any and all of the questions I presented him. He explained the coming process clearly to me and this helped tremendously with the nerves that were building at the prospect of having to undergo surgery. The surgery itself must have been an excellent job by Dr. Ashish because after having read other people’s’ experiences online (generally) about ACL reconstruction, many patients were reporting discomfort for a long time after the surgery. I feel great! My knee feels ‘right’. It doesn’t feel unstable and not quite ‘right’, like it did before the surgery. My leg in general feels strong and I’m really happy with the complete lack of scarring. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Ashish to any of my friends and acquaintances who injure themselves around the knee area—because I’m very happy with the result of the surgery and look forward to getting back to where I was before injury. Doctor Ashish did a full knee replacement for my mom early December. My mom doesn’t speak English, she was just visiting and had knee problems for 4 years. She was terrified of the surgery. Doctor Ash was so upbeat, positive and caring and at the same time explained all the details of the procedure and what will happen after without sugar coating. Everything was organized quickly with all required checks including cardiologist. The surgery went very well and mom dropped crutches after a week. The post care and physio were very high quality and today mom took a flight home. She dropped heavy pain killers she was on for years and her blood pressure has been normal for the last 3 weeks! I have known Dr Ashish Soni for 3 yrs now.He had done my son's ACL and meniscus surgery I had done a lot of research on various doctors and then it clicked with Dr Ashish Soni who was patient to hear me and giving me justifying answers to all my queries. I am 56 years old and weigh 100 Kgs so when i had a Posterior root tear on my left knee I was really concerned especially as I also have some osteoarthritis! I've met Dr. Ashish in July 2020 for the 1st time after having issues again with a failed ACL on my left knee. He was recommended to me by a good friend and a physiotherapist. He was my second opinion and I felt extremely comfortable with him and I was confident he'd sort my issue. He has a wealth of knowledge and his is certainly an expert in his field. He performed a 4th ACL reconstruction on my left knee in May 2020. I've received fantastic aftercare from him and was recovering well. After an accident, I've fractured my patella on my left knee, where after Dr. Ashish also fixed that for me. I can recommend him to anyone who has major issues with their knee's, he will definitely find the best solution for your problem. Dr. Ashish Soni (Ash) performed a total left knee replacement for me in December 2020. Six years before, I had my right knee replaced in Australia so I felt I knew what to expect. Dr Ash is clearly an expert in his field. I had a partial patella tendon tear and he was thorough with explanations as well as patient, providing me with all the options. On his recommendation I did not require surgery although it is an option often suggested. Recovery has been smooth and I have no issues so far. Would definitely recommend as his credentials and experience speak for themselves, but furthermore he is reassuring and makes himself available. We found Dr. Ashish by the Grace Of God. Our son had a freak basketball accident. His knee cap bruised and broke his cartilage, just as he bent down to pick up his ball. 8 days that changed my wife's quality of life. With the UK in lockdown and NHS overwhelmed, there was little chance of a much needed hip operation for my wife, aged 72., until we found Dr Ash in Dubai. I haven been a passionate runnel for a ong time and developed some problems with my right knee. Had intolerable knee pain so asked a few friends and they strongly recommend Dr. Ashish Soni. And he was 100% of what I was told. He checked me , did an MRI in the clinic and suggested some physio sessions and exercises at home too and in 2 days only my pain has reduced to half. Even the physiotherapist and the rest of the staff was very helpful and knew their job well.
