VIA’s new Siemens trains are luxurious and Very digital friendly. Literally the ride is so smooth texting was effortless usb ports everywhere, real time tracking overhead displays, business mini-office, not to mention the seating arrangements were well thought out as I was travelling solo so this row of single window seats on one side of our car was terrific idea. The huge leather seats were plush and accommodating.These little sections create a micro environment that’s efficient, personalized and functional. It felt like this train just arrived from the factory in Germany. Literally the Mercedes of rail travel. If you have the pleasure to ride on one of these trains words like exemplary exceptional excellence come to mind. Beyond 5stars. Highly recommended

If going to YUL airport, note that shuttle is included in your train ticket, but: -it only takes 7 passengers at a time -you wait outside for it, left side of the station (Dress warm in winter - I waited 20min standing still outside, gets cold fast) -there is no shuttle schedule (it supposedly comes every 60min, but will only take the first 7 ppl when it finally does come) -if you're tired of waiting, you can also pay $4 for a normal local bus: get there in 15min, comes every 15min and it's right beside the train station. There IS a schedule, so you can wait inside where it's warm until 5min before. -finally, naturally you can take a taxi, but given how fast the bus is and significantly cheaper, I don't know why you would

We had a train ticket to go to ottawa thinking it would be a faster way to get home than a connecting flight and we have been stuck in the train station for a few hours so far and it’s unclear why the train is so late! The train was supposed to be at Dorval station at 7:40pm. It’s been a few hours and they are shifting the arrival time every 40 minutes or so! There are some overpriced vending machines here to buy junk food and there is no cafeteria or foot court. The station is cold and we have all been stuck here for 3 hours which is quite disappointing!

It is well kept and tidy station. But, the connection to any other place in the city is a pain since the local trains operate maybe once an hour and taxis are expensive. If you plan to get off at the station, make sure you have a plan or budget to get to the town. Montreal is another 30mins from here, by train and makes more sense if you plan to use public transportation.

My parents have told me their fond memories of VIA, I suppose I'll be passing that down as well. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the airport makes it very convenient, the seats have great support, which is very evident after being in transit for more than 20 hours. The best part is that the refreshments are very reasonably priced

Small station, but has everything a larger station offers. Friendly staff. My only complaint is beware of what taxi you take. They all look like taxis but some are Ubers and the Uber’s weren’t using meters and would give you a flat rate to go to an Airport Hotel some of them were $20 some $25 for a 6 minute ride. When we took a real Taxi, the price was 9.75.

Taking the train to Dorval station is a great way to go to/from Montreal-Trudeau airport. It is very close. There is a free VIA shuttle which runs frequently. Comfortable waiting room with drink vending machines. Separate waiting room for business class with a nice assortment of beverages. Staff are very polite and helpful.

It's a train station, what can I say. The downgrade is because the shuttle to the airport is small, 6 or 7 person max. Although I do appreciate the service, but we did have to take a taxi for 20$ because they had no room left and we needed to be at airport. When 20 people get off the train, it becomes less convenient.

Overall the station is comfortable and the seating is plentiful. Used the VIA1 Lounge and although small, there was a limited assortment of drinks including coffee, tea and a small fridge with an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. Would be nice if some light snacks were also made available.

Via Rail's staff at this location (Dorval) were friendly and very helpful (eager to please). The 'Station' itself was clean & tidy, plus many food and beverage vending machines. A pleasant atmosphere for those waiting for their train to arrive. An overall !

Ok let me preface by saying it's a Via train station. Now that said.. customer service and help for the first time travel was appreciated as well as fantastic. Comfortable open air environment, with business class sitting area. Highly recommend over the downtown station.

Cute station with all you could need before taking the VIA Rail train. It is manned in case you need to pick up your ticket or exchange. Parking lot available and or drop off area. It’s a smaller station with available indoor shelter if needed.

Small station, but very relaxed, quiet, has a lounge area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No food available here, I didn't see a food or beverage vending machine. But I didn't have long to wait for the train.

I started using Dorval station for my travels-it is easy to get to, clean, not busy, no lines! You wait at the designated letter for your train car and hop on. That's it! Would recommend over Gare central.

What a lovely picturesque ride. Well looked after and selective treats you can buy aboard! Caution! Business class gets priority and things may not be available in the economy class!!

One of the more unspectacular VIA rail stations, but quiet, clean, and gets the job done, with helpful staff and decent washrooms/good water access. Outlet access is limited, however

Convenient for the airport and bus station but wish it was connected to them. It would also be nice if there was a corner store or food stand in there in case the train gets late.

Small station but really the best one of you have to catch a flight in Montreal internally airport! Free shuttle to Montreal international airport. Staff is really helpful.

Dorval station is a great place to pick up family. Free short term parking while you wait. Just be sure to have your gps and check the signs to get there it might be tricky

Great place to catch the train and watch airplanes take off and land. Staff was very helpful and the place was clean and organized.

3 star given due to the shuttle service. The shuttle is too small. We had to wait for the drier to make 5 trips until we got on.

There is need of fast transit to the airport. If they make direct trail to the airport then it would be great for the summer.
