. At this school there is many academic varieties for people who are extensive and innovative (Math extension). I have thrived at this school since the age of 5. Unlike many stereotypes of schools having bullies etc, this school is thorough in making sure that everyone is valued, happy and optimistic, whilst making sure that no one else is being judged. Thus, I highly recommend this school to young children and parents who are looking for excellent schools. Very multicultural and teachers teach students common etiquette and even table manner before going to camp. They encourage the growth mindset, and is part of the Resilience program to emphasis Gratitude, mindfulness, empathy and tenacity. Many opportunities for productions, captain roles and donations to charities from the SSC team. Phenomenal orchestras and choirs, which opens up different pathways for students futures! No judgment, optimistic, smart, sporty overall perfect in every aspect. Great school to begin your upcoming future.

I have been at DGPS from Prep to year 6 and let me tell you this school is great. They have high academically selected students to be in the higher classes for math helping students of all abilities. They have a caring community and great classes. They teach you everything from English to Chinese. Even if the student is academically slow (no offense) they will help the student to the max and provide with fun activities. This school great. I definitely recommend. And this is coming from a Year 7 2021.

I have been a past student at Doncaster Gardens PS, starting from Foundation to Grade 4. It is a great school, with many opportunities to represent the school such as cross country and swimming. Learning programs are enhanced for each student - in mathematics, maths rotations and in reading- reading groups - both where teachers adapt to your learning pace. DGPS also provides leadership opportunities from grade 1 onwards. It is a great starting place to begin a great academic journey.

All of the teachers work incredibly hard to balance both the student's mental health and academic excellence. Mr Kawanishi, Mr Rice, Miss Valbonesi, Mrs Gunn, Mr North and all other staff were wonderful throughout remote and onsite learning. Mrs Elliot has changed this school in the best ways possible and her approach to educating students is phenomenal. Doncaster Gardens has made me a better person and for that, I will always be grateful.

DGPS is an amazing school and has the best academic teaching. I would recommend this school to anyone who is living in Doncaster East. DGPS give students many opportunities to do so many different fun things like camp, night of the notables, world expo, excursions, incursions, etc. Some activities DGPS have to pay money for, but don't require money in return. You can never get bored in this school!
