I tried Brownsburg Dollar General again. Now I know for sure i WONT GO BACK. First time it was xmas, figured it was just a mess from people shopping. NOPE its filthy and empty shelves while all the stock is crammed on the cleaning aisle (last aisle) the one i needed to shop on. And the employees are standing up front talking. Don't know who the Manager is , but she needs FIRED. Very sad its indescribable how bery bad it really is. Not hard to stock shelves and mop. Lazyitis i guess...

The store is very disorganized and needs cleaned. You can't find anything you need and if you ask for help, they give you an attitude. The cashier and manager are extremely rude and customer service is a JOKE! WILL NOT BE RETURNING. This store has gone downhill. FYI: If you are a couponer- limit is 4 coupons per transaction at this store and you have to do multiple transactions. I overheard this being told to customer in front of me that was only using 7 coupons! SMH

Went here to just buy toilet paper and paper towels quickly instead of going to a big grocery store and when I left about an hour later my bank is telling me there’s a fraud alert on my card. Someone called the bank and tried to get information on the card. This dollar general is the only place I used it that day too. NEVER again am i going to be going into this store. Plus there’s mouse traps all over the store and seen mice running around there before.

I’m bypassing this one to go to another one from here on out, the customer service I experienced wasn’t good at all, and that makes a big difference to me when I spending my hard earned cash, the lady at the register was rude and argumentative over 50 cents (that was owed to me) then the fact that they were out of 3 of the 5 items that I went in there for sealed the deal, I won’t be back.

There's only a couple of staff members that are helpful. The store is dirty. Dirty like the floors aren't mopped, and such. The sun shines into the windows toward check out. Can't even see the price on my end of the register. A good cleaning, some better staff, and shades of some sort on the windows this would be a great Dollar General.

I go to this store because its closest to my house not anymore I will drive up to one on 10th street from now on. Several times now gone to store theres a note on door saying closed early due to staffing issues. Place is not very clean always trash all over floor. Loud music blaring sometimes. Not how a buisness should be run.

This store has a very bad habit of closing before 9pm. Several times including tonight it has been closed before closing time. It is currently 7:50 and they are closed. They really need to change there hours if this is going to be happening this often. Oh and nevermind them opening on time either. Very poor customer service.

Pretty decent store, majority of the time the items I need are there. Lately the store has been closing early without any notice or signage. Nobody really greets you when entering or thanking you when you leave. The 1 stars are for having my items, and being near by and one Particular manager (Young black male) always nice.

Take social distancing seriously. When I walked into the store there were 4-5 employees & customers standing in a circle near the entrance just talking and laughing as if we aren’t in the midst of a pandemic. No one had a mask or gloves on. I will not be returning to this location until public safety is taken seriously.

The store is always messy. Always only 1 or 2 employees. One employee was putting the items on the shelf and talking on the phone. As i was having trouble looking for a certain item. She never ask could she help me at all. Near the lotion and toothpaste had a strong odor. Lets Just say i didnt spend a penny in there.

My one stop shop for afternoon snacks on the way home from work. The selection of candy is amazing, and the clerk is always helpful. There is never a long line and the music is always up beat. The store is always organized and well stocked, and I've even found a few candles here that I come back to buy regularly!

The staff is ok but this store closes at least a hour and half early everyday . I'm so mad I won't go back so now I have to drive to the10th store. Unacceptable please change management soon. And fix this continueous problem. Very unhappy with this location. Do something!!!!!!

Items placed in wrong place (a lot, not just one), cashier seemed indifferent. At the front is a fridge with lightly cooled drinks (gatorade for example) they cost $0.75 more than room temperature gatorade 15 steps back and are smaller bottles. Not organized.

Always unorganized and in the middle of display rearrangements. Staff are only at register. Restroom doors are locked so they have to unlock it do you can try not to pee your pants while dodging the totes of merchandise stored in the restroom.

Dollar General is always a mess, it doesn't matter where it's located. I've been to several of them in Indianapolis and have always had to step over things in the floor or move things out of my way in order for me to get what I need.

Dollar General is a misleading name. Prices range. Lots of kids toys which was nice. Was trying to pack a car bag for a long trip to keep my kids entertained. Checkout lady was very nice and we chatted. Little bit of a line.

Place honestly is a joke. The manager let's people steal. The place is dirty and mismanaged. I barely want to even show up. I know it's a horrible thing to say, given my employment there.

They are always closed it's 230 and nobody is here looks horrible on the GM plus they close every day early never even open so why is the place even open plus there isn't even a sign up

My only complaint is that there is only ever one cashier no matter how busy they are. But the store was clean and well stocked the cashier that was there was quick but still friendly.

The staff is rude and doesn't greet the customers, they are working the register talking on their cellphones..not happy at all..was a frequent shopper there stop going completely

They need to go through and deep clean then organize the store. Its way too cluttered! I totally volunteer!! This store would be great if it was redone a different way

Good place for aome things. They so say on their website they are open until 11:00pm at night. That are not open until 11 they all close at 10pm. Hours need updated

Second time I have arrived during normal business hours and they are not open.. Running behind they say or have given me a different closing time than listed...

Nothing ever on the shelf, carts of boxes sitting in the aisles all the time. People that work there are rude and never want to help you with anything.

Dollar General is a great discount store, with name brand items too. Also, they now have their own cosmetics line, with lip care for 4.00 or less.

This particular Dollar General I've found cleaner than most others I've visited locally and the prices are great just as in other Dollar Generals.

Nice little stop, can park here and a Mexican restaurant is next door that has awesome tocos, actually everything I try there has been great.

This is a pretty big dollar general store. Offers pretty much anything you would need for your home car details and clothing or food options.

Junk in aisles. Store smelled like poop. Even more ghetto than 38th street. Was unable to purchase anything due to uncomfortable environment.

Workers were cussing and running their mouths about a manager while at the registers and 4 people in line. The woman was very loud about it

The store was filthy and floors wet in a couple of isle's. Stunk real bad. Inventory was all over in isle's.. Awful. Felt like throwing up.

They are always out of stock on items I want that are in the ad They haven't had any Hot Wheels in over a year
