We were recently invited to Montezuma by one of their promoters and offered a "Volt" package. We were instructed to arrive at 10:00pm and so we did. Once we arrived, as agreed, we had to contact Ash (the promoter) so that he can allow us entry. We have called him and were told that we now have to wait another 30 minutes before they open the club. That was inconvenient, however we decided to wait. At 10:30pm we got back there and the security guys mumbled something at us (they were clearly not in the mood to see us) and allowed us access to the "club" (by the way this is a ridiculously small discotheque). We then went down the steep steps and were greeted by Ash who has offered us a table under the stairs :)). We basically had to bend to actually get access to the table. He then came 15 minuted after with orange and cranberry juice and a bottle of vodka and prepared drinks for us, welcomed us and had a drink with us. The music was horrible!!! We wanted to dance but we could literally not do it as he kept changing styles and remixing songs every 20 seconds. After 20 minutes here, at Montezuma, a waiter with a group of 6 girls approached our table and started removing all our items (bags, clothes, telephones) and forced us to leave the table basically. We tried explaining that we were invited by their promoter and that we were seated there by him but the waiter could not care less. He said that it is not him making the decision but his supervisor so he is just gonna do as he is told. We felt very insulted. Their staff is more than rude, they don't know anything or maybe they don't care about customer services. If you don;t want to be treated as complete trash, don't go there. The worst experience ever in a "club".

The below response from the owner is irrespponsiple and misleading as it wans't about the comlimentary drinks! If you're not aware of how to treat VIp guests, at least get a a DJ who can mix and not an amteur... I won't say more but the reviews score says it all! We were on the guestlist by their promoter called VOLT who'd been texting me 10x to make sure I let him know when we arrive so we could get complimentary drinks! As soon as we entered, VOLT stopped answering my messages and just ignored us. I arrived first and the bouncer at the entrance didn't want to let me in without the other guests together, although I was on the listl! Inside the club, I felt like if I was in a kebab shop (Staff's behaviour and culture) and due to the size of the venue, no room for dancing! The attitude of the club owner and the staff was ridiculous and as a former club owner, there was ZERO hospitality experience. The weird part is when I left my table to get a drink from the bar, the staff offered the table to 2 girls who just arrived. I straightaway texted my friends and offered to go somewhere else and just left very disapointed after spending 15 mins inside!! I will never go back to Dolce club again and I am definitely blocking VOLT from any future bookings or reservations.

Please google introduce a negative star so that people could truly rate places what they deserve. If you are black, DO NOT BOTHER TO GO TO CLUB DOLCE. Made a reservation with a couple of my friends, they got there before me and was told that the place was fully booked and guest list/table was not available, they left to somewhere else. I then arrive to the club later to understand why my friends weren't let in even when we had a reservation on the guest list, the were 3 white people in front of me who had no booking, no guest list or table either, they said to them that they should either get a table or pay £20 entry fee to get in and they choose to pay £20 to get in and they let them in. It was now my turn, they asked if I had a reservation, I said yes that I am on the guest list, they now mentioned to me that there is no guest list available at that time, that the club is fully booked for the night. I was astound and surprise by that, given that my black friends came earlier on and they didn't let them in, but in front of me they let some white guys and girls in and when it got to my turn again I was denied entry. Please if you are black, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO GO THERE!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AND WILL NOT GO BACK THERE. Considering everything was pre booked and planned before hand when we arrived at the venue it was completely different we was still charged on the door even after reserving a table. We had gone there for drinks and shisha the staff running the floor told us no shisha for this day so we had a £500 limit only on drinks. Only managed to order 1 round of cocktails before being told that the bar are no longer making cocktails as its to busy and we can only order bottles from here on. Not 1 member of staff actually knew what time the club was closing one person said "we are deciding if it will get busier or not it could close at 2am or 5am" which left us puzzled wether to order more drinks or not. When paying for the bill the waiter was not looking at receipt and overcharging everyone at our table who was paying. Worst night I've had in a long time.

Absolutely horrific. Our group was given a “free” night out however we each payed £10 entry as we arrived literally (not metaphorically) 1 singular minute late. It was also only “Free” for girls. Check the website for their endless list of rules. The club wants to appear high end, it’s a glorified basement, no where near classy enough for the amount of requirements there were. We asked the cloakroom staff where we should go as we had a reservation, she rolled her eyes and shouted for her colleague, didn’t address us at all. Me personally, I didn’t see any other guest treated this way but I will just say we were the only group of BLACK girls…The club is tiny, we were given a table for 7, wasn't even big enough for 4 people to sit around. We left the “free” night early. Would not Recommend, have a better night out in shoreditch x

Not a bad place. We went with a promoter who wasn't actually giving the VIP treatment he was messaging us 10x in the past 3 days before the party so that was a bit disappointing. DJ was playing really good music sometimes but definitely can tell he is not a professional DJ and haven't played in bigger places. Bouncers are extremely nice outside which is a really important factor when looking at a club. There were waaay too many girls in the club and barely any guys. All those girls were coming via promoters and most of them left at 1am because of lack of quality guys at the place. Overall I would say we did have fun but it was only because we made it fun. The place has a lot to improve.

False advertisement. They did not cater for food or shisha despite me being told that this can be provided as apart of the £500 minimum spend package. The service was extremely poor. The main waitress attempted twice to add on an additional charges to our final bill on the card machine, had we not been checking she would of got away with it. I would not go back there. We was told they have no cocktails because it was too busy for them to make, this is purely done so they can make a bigger profit selling extortionate bottles. The nicest part of the evening was the toilet attendant who gave us some lollipops. Would not go back there.

They lure you in then let you down. Given a table which we paid for but then when they think you are not giving them money anymore they throw you out like trash. I wasn't even sat down and they wanted me to move away from the table so that new people could take our place. Staff are just plain rude asking people to move of the way for their own gain and tips, and can't even do simple maths that a 2 year old is capable of on their fingers. Disappointing mess but standard for a place with more money than sense, brainless idiots that could do better if they went to school. Let me know when you enter the 21st century.

Great club, was surprised by how good the dj was loved all the music, was a good mix of songs. Was on a Volt Guestlist hosted by Paul who had recommended the club, he and another girl (Lithuanian?) looked after us, so me and my friends enjoyed our first visit to this club thanks to this service! The club is on the small side but this didn't bother me as the atmosphere was good. Only bad thing, was that we turned up around 10:20 to be told the club wouldn't be open for another 30 mins due to a staff meeting, although not ideal, the security was nice and kept us updated. Overall great experience would recommend :)

Got turned down even though we bought tickets online well in advanced. They said the club was full but they proceed to allow other groups of people in. We weren't drunk and were dressed as per the dress code. We had 2 black friends with us so wouldn't be surprised if they were racist as suggested by some other reviewers. Also, 2 friends birthday's had been ruined and they traveled from out of London only to get turned down with no reasonable explanation. Would not recommend.

The club in general is good. The guys at the door and bar staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Although the venue is small, it was not claustrophobic The DJ played good music, and it was such a great atmosphere with the people in the club. I do recommend that if you want to visit Montezuma I do suggest to get yourself on the table or get on guestlist as it is the go to place in London. Overall I will comeback for another Friday or Saturday nightout.

They invite me to Dolce Kensington, and they were so amazing with organising my night out, like keeping in touch and giving me all the details of the night in advance. Also they were replying to all my messages every time I had a question, or I wanted to add someone to my Guestlist. Really good customer service and very happy with my night out. Great night with friendly staff. 4 stars because the club is smaller than expected so you will have people going back and forth whilst you're trying to dance. We booked a booth through a promoter who was really friendly & helpful but on arrival, we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated which was annoying. However, the music was great, as were the drinks. For the price and the location, it was worth it. Thanks for a great night!

Top club in Chelsea, good mood and a good crowd. The music really is great (if you like a mix of r&b & hip hop), the staff perfect, drinks not too pricy for a vip club and delicious cocktails. We went for a friend's 30th birthday celebration. Been to Raffles, Tonteria and Maggies and this ranks right up with other top Chelsea nightclubs. Bit of a long queue to get in but was worth the wait. Check it out - you'll be impressed.

We had a brilliant time at Montezuma. Paul our host was super friendly and accommodating and made our night extra special. The club itself is intimate but has a great atmosphere and vibe to it. The music was absolutely great, had lots of variation and was mixed really well. We danced all night long and felt really comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend booking yourself onto the guest list for a brilliant time in London!

I celebrated my 22nd birthday at dolce and it was so much fun! Through my promoter I got a complementary bottle with mixers and they brought it out to me with sparklers and everything! All of the staff were so kind and accommodating and just wanted to serve me best! I was on the Volt Guest list with Paul and he truly was lovely and helped me with anything I needed. My group loved our time and will definitely be back!

Booked a table via Volt for only myself (female, 32 y) that night. Advised explicitly I would be coming alone. Got confirmed on the guestlist, checked in and reconfirmed the final number of guests (1) as requested. Dressed up, arrived there at just before 11.25 pm and quoted "Volt guestlist" but was turned away because they do allegedly not allow single persons as part of a safety measure! Makes absolutely sense!

Had a great night in Dolce on Saturday! Went on the VOLT GUESTLIST and was extremely well taken care of - had our own area and drinks were always flowing it was brilliant! Paul the host was super helpful even down to making sure I got the right mixers cause allergic to a few so they made sure I was always taken care of! 10/10 reccomend! Good vibes in the club, people were friendly, staff were fab and great music!

Stunning, absolutely wonderful. The whole experience at Dolce was amazing, the crowd, music, and staff were incredible. Most happening club in Chelsea these days. Saturday seems the best time to party in here and we were given a free bottle and shots to celebrate my sister's 23rd birthday! Had a brilliant night for my birthday! We stayed until closing and danced the night away. We received two bottles of vodka and mixers complimentary. Paul really looked after us on the night. On the lead up to the night Maria checked in with me weekly to ensure all of my friends would be on the guest list and if there were any questions from my side. We will definitely be back here again. We were on Volt guest list and were promised lots of complimentary drinks, bottle of wodka, bottle of prosecco. We never received it…. When we asked the promotor he said he was too busy. Bar tenders wouldn’t help us either, even when we showed the offer on whatsapp. Terrible guest experience. Next day we received a message asking if we had a good night. This club is purely deceiving their guests!

Dolce is amazing - we had the best time at this new club on the opening weekend. Far better than anything else in Chelsea currently. Highly recommended for a night out at a fancy club with an awesome vibe and lovely crowd. Music is excellent too - really good mix of modern stuff and classics. Will be visiting thsi new club a lot.

I came here for my hen party and really enjoyed the atmosphere in the club. The bouncers at the door were friendly which made a huge difference from other clubs in London. The bar staff were friendly too. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the music and DJ was awesome! We all had a good dance and enjoyed the night at the club.

My friends and I went to celebrate the a birthday at this club. This was our first time at this venue and it will be definitely be the last visit. The staff is extremely rude and needs to get more training. A very noticeable lack in Customer service, specially the Mediterranean looking security guard… be aware with him.

Can't say enough good things about Dolce! Super friendly and efficient staff. Great venue. Clean, beautiful interior. Amazing sound and lighting system. No troubles at the door to get in. Crowd is relaxed and friendly. Very close to South Kensington underground as well, which is a bonus. Security was super respectful.

Last night at Dolce was great and we had a couple of celebratory bottles of vodka and Prosecco thanks to our VIP Lounge London promoters! The club was small but enough to accommodate everyone and the music was awesome with the DJ open to playing requests. Everyone in the group had a blast xxxx

My fav club in Chelsea. The music is awesome and the performers they have are excellent. Top end club. Always recommend the place, make sure you dress up though. Drinks are a bit pricey but that's expected. Make sure you get on a guest list or they'll be a cover.

Worst place ever, completely a bad way to start my year. The sits in the VIP area were soaked with what im assuming was alcohol. The floors were wet and slippery, the waiter tried to charge extra money for no reason at all, giving herself a tip at our expense.

Planned night out for friends birthday. Ten of us had bought tickets well in advance and tickets were still on sale at the time. Told at door we couldn’t come in as not on guest list and then because it was full - it definitely wasn’t. Promoters very rude.

Very small club which means you can’t really dance without staff moving you to get past. However was given free drinks, booth and entry for the night so I can’t complain. Overall, music was good and promoters were nice just wish it was a bigger venue

Went for the first time with friends to dolce on the volt guest list, very well taken care of. Paul made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone felt accommodated. Very good music and kind staff.

Dark and smells of armpit. Only good thing about it is it’s very small and therefore “cosy” but if it ends up rammed, you’ll suffocate. Coat check charges £2 per item.

Good, fun, great DJ's played lots of Afrobeats mixed into other genres of music. Great for dancing. The cocktails are strong here.
