"The docklands library is only for UEL students and staff which is a massive drawback for the uni as this will be a brilliant library for the public as well"
"Students are tooooo noisy (especially in the Ground Floor) that you can even hear them in “Silent” areas"
"Nice and clean library"
The library is massive but is relatively easy to navigate. Even if you aren't able to find what you're looking for you can ask someone and they will be able to help you 99% guaranteed. Other thing to appreciate here is the amount of space for quietly studying and also the amount of rooms them have for students to receive lectures in. These parts are split into two separate sections on the ground floor but it doesn't make much of a difference because the ease to get from one to the other isn't really effected by this minor inconvenience.
Delighted the library is fully open again to students of University of East London. Slightly redesigned to allow more open space, natural light and ventilation. Professional library environment to study with lots of private study room, Internet facility, books for various course of study, security, rest room, computers, and library staff to help with any enquiry, book reservation, collection and returns. The best part is the 24 hour access. Very useful resource for students
The docklands library is only for UEL students and staff which is a massive drawback for the uni as this will be a brilliant library for the public as well. There are three floors in total. Many computers and tables to use. A variety of books available but I feel are quite dated and is just there to collect dust. The library is 24 hours soo it's extremely helpful for students.
Students are tooooo noisy (especially in the Ground Floor) that you can even hear them in “Silent” areas. Can you please emphasize that during Induction week? Although, librarians and staff are helpful especially Win Pang.
Nice and clean library. Any journal, books and e-books can be found at this library. The printing, scan and photocopy facilities are great. Very spacious and there is always a place to study. I love it....
It's a very big modern library, with everything you need from ebooks to textbooks, journals...name it. The print/pay system is superb too. Very friendly staff and students And yh, the WiFi is cool too
Too noisy due to students otherwise one of the best library with vast collection of books and scenic beauty of river thames.
I'm sure it's a great library but just for University Of East London staff and students. Save your oyster trip …
