We took our 18 month old daughter to Dinosaur World, she loved it! There was plenty of different types of Dino’s to look at as you first enter, you possibly could get through that section quite quickly but we liked to take our time and read about each one. We then headed down to a dinosaur themed playground next to a large tent with a fossil find sandpit, more dinosaurs and food area. There’s a basic sandpit also if you prefer not pay for the fossil find part - $8. One staff member brought around a baby Dino for the kids to touch and interact with, our daughter really enjoyed that part. As you walked through to the other side of the tent, there’s a mini train ride. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to be running while we were there, don’t know if it starts at a particular time though. We didn’t eat/drink so I can’t comment on that part as we had lunch plans for afterwards. For the price, $15 per adult, under 2 free, it was pretty good day overall! However if I could give 4.5 stars instead of 5 that’s be my honest opinion just because i felt like the place needed a bit of TLC. It would make a huge difference. Simply removing any cobwebs from the Dino displays, playground needed a wash, the white tent needed a good wipe down inside and out. The souvenir shop was dusty, a simple clean and tidy would make it look more presentable. Honestly we had a fun day here but that’s the only I guess negative feedback I’d give to help make it more a 10/10 experience in the future.

Before deciding to take the long drive from north Vic down to Summerville I read a lot of reviews on Google. I think some people are being a bit too harsh. My son is 3 and likes dinosaurs, the staff were friendly, the realism of the dinosaurs I thought was really good, they move various parts and make dinosaur noises, my kid loved it and even got a bit scared when the T-rex opened his mouth and roared. The dinosaur dig is a great idea, my son wasn't too sure what to do and a girl working today went in and helped my son find his fossil. We stayed for around 2 and a half hours in total. To address the negatives, yeah it's short and won't take a whole day, the food might be a little bit slow and it's not a polished as a museum exhibit, but it's not meant to be. It's a dinosaur park, my kid absolutely loved it and was complaining when we left, he had a ball, and for the price of admission versus the value, it's very much worth it in my opinion. If your kid loves dinosaur, don't even think twice, just take them down and have a great time.

Had a lovely afternoon with our 3 and 4 year old for our daughter's 3rd birthday. They're an ideal age for this sort of attraction. Even though it wasn't school holidays it was quiet which is ideal for us as my 4yo has additional needs. We all enjoyed looking at the dinosaurs, having a bite to eat, playing in the park, playing in the sandpit and digging for fossils and getting a treat from the souvenir shop. It would have been the icing on the cake for my kids if the little train we could see in the background was running - they would've loved that so much! Plenty of shade for a hot day, and everything was very reasonably priced which is rare these days and it made it an affordable day out and encouraged us to spend more on lots of little extras. It would be great if they could keep building up and adding to this attraction. Friendly, welcoming staff. We thought there was a lot of dinosaurs and a good variety and it's good they were interactive. Perfect for the recommended age group to spend a pleasant couple of hours, in nice surroundings. Definitely worth a visit!

Dinosaur World is a theme park that features life-size replicas of various dinosaurs, as well as interactive exhibits and activities. The park is suitable for families with children, as well as anyone who is interested in learning more about these prehistoric creatures. The park offers fossil digs The park also has a gift shop and a small snack shop to munch around. Dinosaur World is a fun and educational place to visit for anyone who loves dinosaurs or wants to learn more about them. The park has a variety of attractions and activities that cater to different ages and interests. The park is well-maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Literally my 20 sec video explored the whole park, its upto there personal choice to travel that far and spend some bucks to have limited fun for their little ones.

Staff were mostly great. Entry road has tons of potholes in it. Had some cool Dinosaurs they brought out for people to see. Paid just over 50 to enter with a family which is a fairly good price but saw the entire thing in around 20minutes so seems like a good price until you realise how little time you spend there (ita alo around an hour from melbourne). They do have a miniature train that can show you more of the park/Dinosaurs but apparently it's not running atm so you can't see the other sections at all. Kids spent longer chipping away at their fossil ($8 .. or you can pay $2 for the same thing out the front without the plaster..) We got 4 bottles of coke as we were leaving, then realised they were flat and were almost 2months out of date which would be why they are flat.

A solid option for entertaining young kids for an hour or two. The 2 year old I took absolutely loved it, a combination of scared and excited, he was really into it. The $8 dig your own fossil thing is ok, perhaps see if your little one is interested before paying for it. There is also a bit of a play area and sandpit. The dinosaurs are in places in a bit of disrepair mainly in the eyelids but I suppose they get a lit of wear and perhaps they are at the end of their maintenance cycle, being winter time. The gift shop is not outrageously priced. We didn't try the food. The door staff were friendly, the staff inside seemed distracted. It is quite small but I think that it's about right for what it is - we were there about 1h30m so a good post or pre nap activity

We really enjoyed our morning at Dinosaur World. We visited with our young children (nearly 3 and baby) and loved it. The dinosaurs are huge and realistic, and triggered by sensors to move and make noise. The staff are friendly and want to make sure you have a great time! We met and got to pat the baby dinosaur, we took some amazing action photos and enjoyed playing on the dinosaur play equipment. We thought this park was small, but a gem. Something unique to do on your holiday with young kids. You can buy some snacks from their little cafe too! Can’t wait to visit again and see the miniature railway in action!

The entrance isn't expensive, just $15, but the I can't say it is worth it back. Generally speaking, not a bad place with some dinos that are moving with different gestures all the time. That is indeed better than status only. However, the only problem is that it is too small. Basically, 10 minutes can finish your trip if you don't stop to read the dino's introductions. The dig activity is just play sandpit for a while for $8. The fossil can be bought anywhere such as Australian Geography. It might only be recommended if your kids love dinos and you have exhausted with the spots to see them

This was so good for young kids! The dinosaurs were super cool and the dig and find a fossil was really well done too for a souvenir. We LOVED the little baby dinosaurs the staff brought around that you could pet and interact with as you worked on your fossils. SO much fun for young kids. The playground was also great, so safe with no way of falling off, perfect for little ones. I wouldn’t take older kids here but we seriously had the best day, thanks so much to the friendly staff too

A great Dino world perfect for the very enthusiastic 2-3yr olds and a young kid at heart adult. Quiet a few dinosaurs to check out. There's a playground and a marquee enclosure with large round tables and chairs with sandpits inside. A small basic food stall with hot chips and sausages being made and ice cream. Plenty of places to sit for food and shade. Didn't go to the toilets so can't review these. There was a train enclosure which wasn't working that day. All in all a fun place for the little human dinos, will probably go back again.

Fun shop and entrance into the large barn and huge dino at the front. It's fun for kids probably up to the age of 5/6. Can walk around the park in 20-40mins. Nice spot for a birthday party but getting a bit run down. Not all mechanical Dino's are working and some covered in spiderwebs. Staff in the kiosk do their best to service you but can be a wait at peak times for your hot food. The Christmas tree farm is no longer here as of December 2021.

Great value for money for kids to do something, actually quite larger than I thought from the reviews I read. Place is kept very clean & staff are great and loads of interesting things to read. There was even a dinosaur brought out for the kids to great at lunchtime that they can pat. Designed around children so they have a great time. Dinosaurs are very realistic:-) there is even a fossil finding area that kids can breakup the stone to find a cool Fossil. Gets kids imagination flowing. Thumbs up for a cool place :-)

Took our 3 little ones here and they loved it, however I wouldn’t recommend for over 5 years of age. Our 2 year old dinosaur mad son had the best time! Pretty run down, toilets were dirty, would recommend taking your own food or eating before hand. Young lady who was working at the sandpit area was unfriendly and didn’t seem to want to be there. Which dampens the experience, but the young man behind the front entrance counter definitely made up for her lack of customer service. My kids loved him!!

A great little place for young kids to enjoy. The staff were friendly and there was a great deal of effort put into maintaining the dinosaurs. Limited food options at the cafe/food store but sufficient for some light bites to eat. There seemed to be a a miniature railway of some sort at the rear of the property that wasn’t operating, but the garden space around was very well maintained. Whilst the park was smaller than expected, it was a good day for the kids.

This place was great for the grandkids to see Dinosaurs and then play in the sandpit looking for Fossil's, the staff in the Sand area were great young girls who help the granddaughter (3) out with her digging, then it was Nanny / poppy to help pull the Fossil's box apart. Fossil's were placed inside a Chalk Box which had to be pulled apart using Fossil Digging tools. It was a really good place to visit and the information is great about the Dinosaur exhibits.

It's rather small but really nice and inviting. Lots of dinosaurs around the pine trees, with little signs which tells you what dinosaur it is and some facts. There is a playground for kids, and a sandpit that's under cover. Also in there is another section for a dig and discover (at extra cost) Overall cute little fun place for kids.

This is where we have been going each year to buy our Christmas tree. Our daughter came along with our granddaughter and this became a real adventure. There is huge model of a T-Rex and lots of interesting paraphernalia at the store. We venture around the field and choose the tree that best suits us.

Nice Dinosaur park. It’s small but has plenty of popular motorised dinosaurs. Kids loved playing in the sand pit and the dinosaur fossil treasure hunt. There’s an eftpos fees on everything you buy there in the cafe and surcharge on the tickets when bought online.

Went to a 4 year olds birthday there. A nice small park area with easy to walk trail to view animated dinosaurs on display, kiosk with really nice chips and snacks and a miniature train to ride on. There are BBQs and seating areas as well.

So lucky we have something like this in our area! Could do with some TLC but it is a privately run and funded place, it's doing well for saying that. We love the dinosaur dig activity and the Dino babies being walked around.

It's really good for kids up to the age of 10. A few minor upgrades & it could be a 5 star attraction. Good little thing to have in the area for something different to take the kids to.

Ideal for young children, who love dinosaurs. Prices were reasonable for entry and take away food was excellent and also priced well. Look forward to visiting in better weather when the little train is going and Santa comes around.

Great for a couple of hours for under 5s. $15 feels steep but there is maintenance costs and dinosaurs are pretty cool as well as the activities.

Great place to take the kids. Plenty to look at over a small space/time. Would have only spent about 1-1.5 hours here. Can get pretty busy at times.
