"Driver showed up, was very nice, for the life of me I couldn't understand why on the trip home, with almost no traffic we kept revs up revs down revs up revs down almost up down ever 3 seconds and i'm in the back rocking back and forth which wasn't good for my trip nor my scooter chair as i'm on the heavier side"

"I should have checked the reviews before I booked Dignity taxi to pick up 2 senior adults for a Seniors Service & Luncheon"
Another taxi company sent out a driver from Dignity when i requested for a wheelchair accessible van. The driver's name was JASVINDER SANGHA driving a van with plate #KJX 442. He pulled over in the middle of our back lane and unloaded my daughter on a wheelchair right there without even waiting for me to open the back door. I told him to pull over near the back door, which is a few meters away from the gate. He even yelled at me asking for the taxi slip and telling me that he is busy. He did not pulled over in our backyard for he said it was not his job. He did not also assist in pushing my daughter's wheelchair for the same reason that it was not his job. His job was only to get money and put those people with disabilities at risk. Despite of the fact that it was at -32C+, he still dropped my daughter and was only after the payment. He even questioned why I only put $35 on the slip for he wanted me to pay him while standing on the gate waiting for the slip. He did not stop the meter when he pulled over. His ID was not even hanging in front of the cab. To Dignity Transportation company, how do you monitor your drivers especially those providing services to people with disabilities. This man should not be driving any Transportation for hire especially the wheelchair accessible vans. With all these bad ratings, this company is not doing anything. I WILL NEVER AGAIN HIRE A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VAN FROM THIS COMPANY and beware of the driver. He yelled at women and don't care about people with special needs.
Driver showed up, was very nice, for the life of me I couldn't understand why on the trip home, with almost no traffic we kept revs up revs down revs up revs down almost up down ever 3 seconds and i'm in the back rocking back and forth which wasn't good for my trip nor my scooter chair as i'm on the heavier side. I kept biting my tongue wondering if this was being done on purpose, or subconsiously or by vehicle condition. In either case it should not be happening at all. It made for the most uncomfortable taxi ride i've had in a long time. I had to release my seatbelt and hold on to the chair in front of me! Anyhow, knowing you're transporting someone in a chair or mobility device means that item isn't bolted down, it is secured down but that back and forth motion is amplified and maybe not dangerous, it's damaging to a person's body health and their "valuable" support device. It's not acceptable and driver needs to be aware of his vehicle! As we almost cut off a vehicle turning on to my street, i'm unsure if I'd use Dignity Taxi again. Thankfully my use of a chair is not long-term! Back to being able to walk next month!
If it was possible to give NO stars I would. This company is TERRIBLE. My mother is in a wheelchair, and the first time we hired them, the driver showed up 20 minutes early, and arrived at the restaurant while it was still closed. The driver kept the meter running while waiting for the place to open even though it was his fault for being early. The second time, my mother had an extremely important appointment for an ultrasound, and even thought TWO calls were made to ensure they were coming, NO CAB arrived. When the company was called, we were told no cars were available, the woman was rude and nasty. DO NOT use this lousy company. I highly recommend using Dependable Taxi.
Terrible. Spoke with the company a day prior to book a 2:30 pick up. Going to the airport. The driver didnt show up. Tried calling the office, no answer and the mailbox was full. Called for 10 minutes. Finally gave up and called unicity to see if they had an accessible taxi, the dispatch was so friendly, she immediately went to her supervisor to see what could be done at last minute notice. 2:55 the driver showed up. When he found out that we'd been waiting since 2:30, he apologized saying he was contacted at 2:22 to pick us up. Not the driver's fault. I see it's happened to someone else before and now don't want to book again.
I should have checked the reviews before I booked Dignity taxi to pick up 2 senior adults for a Seniors Service & Luncheon. The pick up time was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and they arrived 15 minutes late. The 2 seniors 90+ were waiting. The front desk called and the driver arrived shortly after. The cost for the pickup and return was $60. I will definitely not use Dignity service again. This was not acceptable. When you pay that kind of a fare there is no excuse for the lateness. If I could rate them as 0 I would.
Appalled by the driving of one of their drivers. This male driver was driving a white minivan and was driving very aggressively towards other motorists that were in his way. Had I not been driving myself, I would have taken video of the incident. This driver should not be allowed on the streets with this kind of attitude towards driving and the public. I can only imagine how he treats his passengers. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
If I could I would rate them a 0. The driver was incredibly rude. Tried making up a different price than we agreed upon on the phone. Complained it took too long loading the wheelchair and equipment we had. Was not a mini van as he told me barely had enough room for the wheelchair. Was trying to threaten to fight me after drop off. Would never use their services again.
I have used this wheelchair taxi in the past and was very happy with the service and the driver. He treated my 85 year old Mom like she was the most important person in the world. I did an advanced booking for this coming Friday. I will post the outcome. The gentleman who answered the phone was amazing. Funny, kind and polite.
The driver arrived late. He took a longer route to the destination, passenger had to provide directions , driver claimed his GPS was telling a different way. No mention of flat rate at time of booking only that it was to be paid in cash. Would not use this service again
Booked a pickup at our home to the airport for 7am. They arrived 15 minutes late. Also when we booked, we booked an airport pickup after our trip. Supplied the flight number and no one showed up. Would never use this service again.
With our previous experience, Dignity Transportation has completely rectified the situation by assisting us twice and arriving early. The attendant was very patient, attentive and helpful which made such a difference. Thank you!
They charged me 20.00 dollars extra because they had miscalculated the fare. They were 40 minutes late and their debit machine was not working. Inconvenient and very unprofessional. I do not use their service ever again.
Seen a driver yelling at a mother and child pedestrian. If they treat people on the street like this how do they treat customers? Embarrassing for this two bit operation.
Tried calling numerous times ,sent a text message as the automated machine said and nothing back. Quit redicoulos really
Terrible service, requested at a I they said half an hour, waited well over an hour and no call back or anything
Called, booked online, and text. No response from any form of contact...... Cant get a taxi with them......
Driver was late and drunk. My mother was an hour late for her appointment. Don't use Dignity.
When off duty they have the audacity to use handicapped parking? Ya that shows dignity.
how are you still in business called to book a time ,and never showed up
Worst services and fails to commit to the scheduled trip. Unimpressed
