Ordered some Xiao long baos and the hot pot garlic pork ribs soup. I must say, they were yummy, the xlb was soft and moist, the soup with additional beef, shrimp balls, wonton, and some veggies were great. Never had hot pot quite presented like this with the ingredients pretty much oil simmered before poured with the soup

The service was ok. Not very accommodating to meals tho. Acted like it was going to take an act of God to substitute white rice with fried rice. The food was terrible. The only thing that was great were the dumplings. The sauce the chicken was cooked in was mostly water. Chicken really had no taste. Just kinda soggy More

I have ordered go food twice here while staying around the corner. I don’t care for the soup, dim sum or noodle dishes. Oily sauces and spring rolls. Expensive. Dim sum items just meh. I guess I’m partial to the awesome dim sum we enjoy in Cleveland, where har gow is 4 pieces for $3 and actually tastes like shrimp

Great experience with a pickup order from this restaurant. Well greeted at the door and the food was absolutely delicious and hot even 30 min past when we retrieved it. General Tsos chicken, stir fried noodles, and the mini bao (not actually that mini, but still very good) were all excellent! More

Tasty hot pot and soup dumplings. We got the garlic pork rib hot pot with bok choy and mushrooms and it was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and it was more than enough for 2 people. The soup dumplings are also yummy! The kids had the Thai tea boba too and loved it. More

Disappointing experience. Took about 10 minutes from being seated to when we got menus. Order took another 30 to come out. Dumplings were ok… but the spicy wontons had shrimp in them. No info anywhere on the menu that items contain shrimp - the only warning is “contains pork.”

  • Christina Doucette

Absolutely loved this restaurant! They walked us through the menu and explained how the hot pots worked. All the food is fresh and made right there. We tried as many items as two people could possibly eat and we were not dissatisfied with anything. Truly exceptional food More

I am not really familiar with Chinese cuisine but this was truly good food. The steamed pork boa and fried rice with shrimp were excellent. I was a bit confused by the concept of the restaurant and there was little guidance. Service was friendly but not very informational.

This is the worst place we have ever had food from. There was a dead cockroach in the fried rice. Thankfully it was right on top and we found as soon as we opened the container. Please don't get food from Dian Xin unless you want to eat cockroaches. Really bad! More

Disappointed after reading the reviews. Not sure if other reviewers have actually had xiao long bao before. Shrimp har how was described as fresh, but was chewy in texture like it was cooked too long. Xiao long bao was “meh”. Service was super friendly. More

Visited on a Wednesday night around 8:30 PM (they close at 9 and let us order before the kitchen closed). We got plum sake, beer, vegetarian pan fried noodles, spring rolls, and veggie bao - everything was SO good! The noodles were seasoned

First time in New Orleans. I had read some reviews of this place before coming. Our hotel (Bienville- which was also great) was just a couple blocks away. My fiancé and I had the spicy xiao long bao. It was so good we ordered another round.

  • Keveena Byrd

The food was good. Everything was fresh and piping hot. The spicy Xiao Long Bao needed more liquid. Was more like a regular dumpling than a soup dumpling. But the flavor was good so I’d get it again. Service was good. It’s a small space, so

I went to this restaurant in order to celebrate winter solstice with my family. I ordered a dry pot with chicken and other vegetables. I chose non-spicy because my children cannot eat spicy food and there is a non-spicy option in the menu.

We wanted something aside from Seafood for our last night in NOLA and to say we are pleasantly surprised is a vast understatement. You can taste the homemade authenticity in everything from the fresh brewed green tea, to the appetizers and

Fresh, flavorful food with decent service in a cozy restaurant in a nice neighborhood on Royal St - although the menu doesn’t have vegetarian options, the restaurant is willing to replace chicken and other meat dishes with tofu and veggies

oooookay! So if you've seen my review at the original Dian Xin, you'll know that the flavors there are delissssh! Did you think this location was any different?! We're glad to announce that the flavor levels stay delicious but with a smack

Small restaurant with a menu different from what we normally find around, which is something good, as you can try out of ordinary Chinese food. We had a plate of vegetables (no protein) with sauce. It was good, but it could be improved by

This was by far the worst experience we ever had there. We have been in many times and always felt it was better than the original one. This was HORRIBLE! We got the Shu mai and they were hard like they had been microwaved too long. The

We went here for a hot pot dinner. Don’t get me wrong, but the food was great: everything was really fresh, soup dumplings were really good, and the hot pot was delicious(had a really nice broth). It first started going downhill because

I rate this place 5 golden stars on a red flag. The food, atmosphere, service, location, and all of it is wonderful. My spouse and I walked right in during FQF, was shown a table and had service promptly. The food: Hong Kong soup, Pork

We ate here twice during our NOLA trip, it was that good. The first time we had general tso chicken and it was delicious and fresh. The next time we splurged for the hot pot. We've never had a hot pot. We make the mistake of getting it

This is the real deal. Having moved away from SoCal, I was hankering for some authentic Chinese food. And Dian Xin hit the spot. The crab dumplings and spicy dumplings were perfect. Even though there was a crowd keeping them busy, the

What a great place to eat! The service was awesome and super friendly. We ordered the Pork Bao Buns, the General Tso's Chicken, House Fried Rice, Hot & Sour Dumpling Soup, and an order of Pan Fried Dumplings. Everything was such high

This place is a gem! Wish I had found it sooner on our trip. It's quiet and small. Some of the best fried rice I've ever had. I really liked the sesame seed chicken. It has a thick sweet and sour type sauce, crunchy battered chicken.

  • The semi Rad Dad

This is the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. We walked by the place a couple of times in our outings, but today we finally stopped in for dinner. No disappointment on anything we had, and I'm guessing we wouldn't have been

Dian Xin 2 is the finest in Asian cuisine throughout the French Quarter. A very cozy restaurant with tremendous service with freshly served dishes. I recommend the Boba tea with Mongolian Chicken! More

  • Ariel

Surprisingly good authentic Chinese food. I ordered Xiao Long Bao which is even better than what I had before in the bay area of California. Definitely would like to come back to try more dishes. More

  • Tab Palmisano

Absolutely delicious and well worth the small wait to get a table. Staff was great. Wish there was a tad bit more room on the table but the food was so good that wasn't even a concern. More

  • Justin Carvajal

Everything was so fresh- especially with their house made soup dumplings. Additionally the male servers were extremely friendly- on top of being eye candy. Haha definitely try them out More

  • Tommy Shinn

Best Bao in the French Quarter! This establishment never disappoints and the wait staff are friendly and responsive. If you haven’t dined @ Dian Xin…..What are you waiting for? More

  • Sharon Shu

Not as good as the original location. Took a visiting friend here due to convenience and was disappointed that the crawfish xlb were very dry and all the xlb skin broke easily.

  • Diana Macku

Had the vegetable broth, spicy ... it was awesome! A really great experience. Serves 2-3 easily! Add an appetizer and drink and the bill was around $50 with a generous tip!

踩雷!!! Two years ago when we were in New Orleans, we liked original Dim Xin’s soup dumplings so much. And that’s one of the reasons we come to visit the city again

  • Hai Benron

A bit basic layout and atmosphere. Good service. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Acoustically a bit loud. It’s good Chinese food. More

tiny little joint with attentive service, incredible hot pot, and yummy dim sum. try the crab and crawfish bao— truly delicious! More

The crabmeat and crawfish long bao were phenomenal. Reminded me a lot of the crab xiao long bao you can get at 阿文汤包 in Beijing.

  • Sarah Eldiasty

Service was great but food was lacking. I ordered the cucumber salad, spring rolls and xiao long bao.
