Nice dog park. One side for small dogs the other for large breeds, side by side with a fence dividing the two. Grass is artifical with pop up water heads that come on at various slow/off times to clean any accidents. Poop bags provided if you happen to forget yours, little water fountains dogs can drink out of. Protection from the sun and/or rain due to it being under the expressway. Friendly, pet people and well behaved dogs for the most part. Parking can be a little funky when it's busy but it works out. This is a good place to spend some quality time with your dog. There are large, real world drain pipes that the dogs can run in and out of or jump on top of and usually someone leaves a Frisbee or ball or some kind toy behind that becomes community property and gets played with by everyone. Mostly the dogs like to run around with other dogs they have just met or dogs they know from their last visit. They will have a lot of fun and beg you to bring them back. On a more personal note, naming this dog park after Deputy John Kotfila, Jr., was a good way to honor his memory as he was also a dog lover. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Stopped here when headed over to Tampa on a mini road trip and had my furry co-pilot with me. Wanted to surprise him with something fun to do to. Thought this was kind of unique and cool use of intercity space that doesn't usually get used efficiently. Our pup loved it. The fur babies and their humans were all delightful. They have a small and large dog areas. Each side has water fountain, trash can, and dog bag dispenser ( which when we were there were fully stocked). I didn't pay much attention to small dog side but large dog side had tubes to run through. Items to jump up on at tried heights and room to run. Being under the underpass it provides shelter from weather as well. Note there are signs that if you don't pick up after your dog there is a $150 fine. Parking looked limited and has a hour limit but there looks to be another parking lot next door but I am not sure if that can be used for dog park or not. When we went it was pretty busy but was still able to get parking no problem. At least where I parked no fee to park.

Great dog park downtown. It's underneath the overpass which makes it shaded from the sun. This park even has a slight breeze from traffic overhead. The dog park has two sides, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. The grass is that fake turf made for dogs, a bit thicker as not to hurt the paws of the dogs. Both sides have places to sit and concrete with wooden tops for the adventurous dogs to jump on. There are also dog poo bag dispensers and water fountains. I dinged a star because of all the dog poo that the owners left on the turf. C'mon, if you bring your dog, pay attention and get off your phone long enough to clean up after your dog. Just common courtesy here, not to pretend not to see your dog taking a No. 2 then leave. I can go on about this about other parks too, it just makes it a nicer place to visit for everyone. Anyhow, nice little area to take your dogs and to stay out of the heat. Parking is on the left and right sides of the park btw.

Such a great little dog park for those pet owners who want to avoid the hot sun and rain of the summer months! The Selmon Expwy makes for a perfect dog park underneath it! Astro turf is the surface, so for those dogs with grass allergies, this is perfect. Cool little obstacles for the dogs to play in/on, and fair enough room for them to run. Clean fresh water fountain for the dogs, and for the humans, but no restrooms. You may want to bring a lawn chair as seating is some what limited. I love the fact that this park is open late, after the sun sets, as there are overhead led lights which provide a well lit area for both the small and large dog play areas. Beware, the lights will automatically turn off at 11pm, so pack up before then. Sprinklers come on nightly to wash the area down from the dog excrements, leaving it clean for the next day. My dog had a lot of fun, we will be back!

This was such a great place to carve out a dog park in otherwise wasted space. Hot as it is being July in FL, this park was considerably cooler than any other options because it's under shade from the overpass. The people were nice, the other dogs were friendly, and we will definitely come back when it's a little cooler. The only thing negative I can really comment is, as many others have said, some people don't clean up after their dogs. This is unfortunate, and also created some fly presence. Additionally, my dog has never experienced astroturf before, and I really don't think he understood he could go on it if he needed to. For some dogs this will just feel "wrong", like being on a carpeted patio.

For the most part, its a pretty great park. Aside from the issue with some owners still not watching their dogs/picking up poop, there's a recurring issue with unfixed males. TO THOSE CONSIDERING BRINGING THEIR UNFIXED MALES, regardless of age: be EXTRA sure your dog is 100% recall trained when around other dogs. Unfixed males here seem to spark conflict with the fixed males (obsessive humping, aggressive dominance displays, overly-rough play) as well as create tension in the park over female dogs (both spayed & non-spayed). For the well being and safety of everyone, please DO NOT bring your unfixed male if you have any doubts on his recall ability; this is a BUSY park.

Fantastic area for all types of dogs to exercise, and play with others. This is the first AstroTurf type dog area that I've ever been too. It also has some agility type things for dogs to perform. There's is also a larger area for dogs of 40lbs and larger, and an additional run for smaller dogs to play. Both areas have a water fountain with bowl so the can get something to drink. This area is directly under the interstate, so it provides protection from the elements, and has lighting so they can continue to play when it gets dark. It's usually fairly active, and you'll see just about any kind of dog in there. I highly recommend this.

My experience consists of about 10 trips to this dogpark. It is the dirtiest park, by far, I've ever taken my dogs to. Also, while the breeds are usually friendly mixes and in the medium to slightly large range on the "big dog" side, there are a lot of owners who pay zero attention to what their dogs are up to. This park seems like it's mainly used by people who want to chat or catch up on their social media accounts while letting their animals poop everywhere and interact with other dogs on their terms. No thanks. I gave it an extra star for the convenient downtown location.

  • Emily Jean (EMJMAR)

This is my dog and I’s favorite and preferred dog park, because it’s covered from the elements, well lit up even in the parking lot, clean astroturf, and water available for the pups. My Italian Greyhound, Pepper, only likes the small side since she *must* be the fastest in the park, and the smaller side definitely wasn’t built equally. I shouldn’t have to scare the heck out of my dog if I need water and need to go to the big side, and there are limited seating options throughout the park for the amount of people and dogs that come peak hours.

  • Tracy Johnson-Cantwell

Visited here for the first time today! A really beautiful park! The fact that it's covered is really appealing- the breeze is perfect and you don't have to worry about rain. Everyone who brought their dogs were very friendly, and the dogs were well behaved. There's a large and small side, and both have Astroturf and cement obstacles for the dogs, as well as water fountains. Everyone who goes is meticulous about cleaning up after their dogs, as well. Only downside is it's semi hard to find, and there didn't look like a lot of parking.

  • Barbara “#AmbassadorBarb” Lynch

Although I don't have a dog, my friends do so I like do my research. This is a spacious spot with astroturf and different obstacles for the dogs to run free under the Selmon overpass. The biggest challenge appears to be parking, but likely most people are in the condos nearby walking their pups so no need for them to park. #AmbassadorBarb noted the cool Tampa mural and caught the dusk colors under the overpass. And there is a beautiful memorial for Deputy Kotfila in honor of his service.

  • Cheryl Johnston

This is one of our favorite parks because IT'S SHADED. It has a big dog side and a small dog side, though I bring my pug to the small dog side to play and there's never any dogs on the small dog side. The other small dogs go on the big dog side. So sometimes I end up taking her to the big dog side. But there are agility things to do on each side, there's water fountains, the AstroTurf lets us leave the park clean. Most dog owners are watching their dogs. But the best part is the shade!

  • Kyle S

Awesome dog park. Because it is under the Selmon Highway, it is always 5-10 degree cooler. May not seem much, but in the middle of the summer makes a big difference. Also nice when it rains, park stays mainly dry. Only negative, it is a county park. So it is only cleaned once a week, but is used by hundreds of people/dogs every day. Would be nice if there were a few hoses around that could be used to wash off the turf when your dog leaves some traces.

  • Joseph C.

This dog park is our favorite! The entire park is underneath the Selmon Expressway which means it’s entirely shaded. Rain or shine: you can bring your dog here which is great. The facility is really well kept and is made of turf which means NO MUD. There are two sections for big dogs and small dogs with water fountains and plenty of parking. The dog owners are also generally friendly and mindful of their dog. 100% recommended.

  • Kelly Goshorn

I really enjoy bringing my dog to this park! The people are great and really watch their dogs. Tampa needs to utilize space under the freeways to provide more dog parks like this one. It way too hot in the summer for dogs to be out in the sun. This park is great because it's not only shaded, but we can sit out here during a storm and the dogs can still run and play without getting wet. It's the best idea ever!!!

  • Michelle Zeman

We have been 3 times several months apart and noticed people are not willing to pick up their doggie poo. The place smells like a giant port-a-potty. On several occasions we had large breed dogs attack our non aggressive female and the owners were not willing to gain control of their dog. The last time we visited was 3 weeks ago and it was the last straw. She is a sweet girl and doesn't need to deal with that.

  • Rizzle Dizzle

Went there for the first time yesterday. A lot of the reviews were very accurate. (People not paying attention to their dogs, even when they’re being aggressive towards others, not picking up their poo and just playing on their phone or even laptop) But the other 90% of people were very attentive and really friendly. My pup is super friendly and she had a blast playing with others and seeing more humans.

  • Kathryn Cicchini

Great dog park lots of space and the people are nice. However, there are quite a few people who choose not to clean up after their pet. There were 15 - 20 different piles of poop thst I witnessed the other day at 2 pm. When talking to others they say it happens early inthe morning. This makes me sick that people lack so much Respect. I hope it changes or we won't come back ---its distgusting...

  • Matthew Falbo

Favorite dog park in Tampa area! Split for small and large dogs with a good amount of room relative to each type. Best things about this park are that it is covered by crosstown so it's always shady and you're not frying in the sun. Also, it is all artificial grass so there are no dirt areas for my dog to get disgusting in. Also, always been a decent crowd there too.

  • Lauren Percz

My dog loves coming here and I love that it’s safe, shaded and not dirty. Of course you have to watch where you walk but for the most part, people pick up after their dogs. I also love that it’s free, plenty of parking, and that it’s separated by size of dogs for their safety. I do wish this sort of had a splash pad for dogs on these hot days but maybe one day.

  • Justine Monsalve

Really neat space! Under the overpass, so always shaded on a hot day. AstroTurf is a little awkward when your dog does his business, so you can see where other piles used to be. Watch your step! Water stations for your pets, but the water fountains aren't working now, I'm probably because of the pandemic. Parking right next door to the park, seems to be plenty.

  • Lori Weaver

Love this dog park, the shade is so appreciated in the Florida hot sun! Both my babys love it and they get so tired out playing with all the friendly dogs there. My little one Benjee likes to run with the big dogs but his sister Lacy is always close behind to make sure he doesn't get ran over, lol. Just got back from there and now they are both ready to nap!

  • Naomi Acosta

We were there when the place was being pressure washed. It was a very thorough job. The fake grass was fantastic, softer than a lot of real grass! The shade was also very welcome! The only bad part was a couple of people had not picked up after their pooches, which is their bad, nor the park's since the park provides poop bags if you didn't bring your own!

  • Anastasia Curtis

This is our favorite dog park to visit! Most of the time it stays pretty busy but there's plenty of seating. It's very spacious and the big plus side is it's a covered park so if it's raining out you can still bring your pup! My one and only complaint would be I wish they had on site bathrooms.
Restrooms
No restrooms unfortunately.

  • Taylor Teagle

We live across from this dog park and we couldn't be luckier to have it! It is very nice, clean, and well taken care of. Everyone has been friendly and makes sure to clean up after their pets. It's covered by the selmon expressway so it's great for our dogs getting out of the hot sun and also great for when it's raining! Best dog park!

  • Tony medlock

This was probably the best dog park I have been to in this area. Since I have a frenchie that tends to get hot quick during the day I was really nice to have an outside area where he could run around during the day and be overheated in 5 mins. Most of the people there were really nice and my puppy had plenty of other dogs to play with

  • Kimberly Velazquez

It was my first time bringing my dog and it was nice. He has to get used to so many other dogs so i was careful but it has enough room to run and play. Your dog can get good exercise there. Recommend it to dog owners. The plus is small and large dogs have seperate parks so there is no worry that a larger dog will play too rough.

  • Steve Semonich

This is a good dog park for one that has astroturf. It has separated small dog and large dog areas, along with a fountain for water. The Crosstown Expressway provides good shade during a hot day. Unfortunately, I find this park to be on the dirty side because owners don't pick up after their dogs even though bags are provided.

  • MB Clemons

This used to be a good spot and it's nice that it's open at night. But, now it's just garbage people who don't pick up after their garbage dogs. There's piles of poop everywhere. No excuse, it's a small and well lit park. They put up new banners asking people to clean up after their dogs but I think it made the problem worse.

  • Rohit Varma

The best dog parks of all the ones I have visited so far. It's a little far from where I stay westchase area but worth doing to... It's in downtown area below one the flyovers. So it's pretty cool in that sense not much sunlight . Small dog park is pretty spacious and couple of places to sit. Would recommend this dog park.

  • Karen Hunt

Very nice dog park! Separate areas for small and large dogs. Both areas have double gates to prevent runaway dogs. Lots of things for dogs to run around and jump on, and lots of tennis balls. Fully shaded (under the Selman) with water fountains for both dogs and their humans. And lots of available poop bags. Lol

  • Phylisha Thompson

Duce loves coming here.. most people watch their dogs and I love that. This park has tennis balls for them to play with and some other things they get to use. There is a water fountain for the dogs too. I do wish there was a public bathroom close by. Most of the dogs are very playful and very well behaved

  • Donna Jacobs

This place is great for anyone who has a four legged friend. It is under the overpass so it is in the shade, a must in the Tampa heat. There is a water station, scented poop bags and seperate areas for big and small dogs. There are different play stations and everyone seems to keep an eye on their pet.

  • Reliant Consulting

It's a good space in the city to allow your pup to run! The park has 2 spaces dedicated for large and small dogs. It has artificial turf, but it's location and the protection from rain far outweigh that disadvantage. The city keeps it clean, coming in on Monday mornings to hose/scrub down both spaces.

  • Laura LoVetere

Great place to have your dog run around and mingle with other dogs. There is a section for large dogs and another for small dogs. Parking is available (1 hr limit). Drinking fountains for you and the dog are also available. Overall great place except there's lots of poop/poop stains on the turf.

  • Hector Troche

This dog park is disgusting. It's a nice area but the people that come here have no respect about keeping the area clean. I understand the employees that come to pick up the trash and replace the doggie bags it's not they were responsibility but at least come once a week the handle this mess

  • Dwayne Johnson

it is a nice park, two areas one for small dogs and one for large dogs. only problem with the park is that people who use the park do NOT watch their dogs and there is always poop everywhere. Owners don't see their dogs poop so they don't clean it up. It suck because i like the park!

  • Alexa Stampfl

Took my copper baby the and he had so much fun. Everyone was super nice, well lit at night, good shade during the day, plenty of doggie stations for poo bags. Could use more seating for people and better equipment to teach dogs tricks. But over all a great family friendly place.

  • Vanessa Marquez

Aesthetically this dog park is acceptable, but an artificial space is definitely not the best option for them, there are marks of feces all over the place, the smell of urine is extreme, picking up the waste of their pets is not among the priorities of many so the place sucks.

  • Karen Dowd

Artificial turf Lots of big dogs and little dogs interacting pretty non aggressively. Most owners paying attention to their dogs behavior. The biggest con is dog poop that doesn't get picked up and even when it does their is residual left. Doesn't seem clean and sanitary.

  • Sammy Cerissi

Cool spot. Separation of large & small dogs. Fairly clean but depends on the guests & how they maintain it. Water fountains for the pups. Large dog designated area tends to have 5-15 pups consistently. Small dog designated area tends to have 6 or less from my experience.

  • Todd M

This park is awesome. Tons of area for dogs to run. Has to different enclosures in case you don't want to mix different sizes of dogs together, different sizes and shapes of structures for the dogs to jump on, satering bowls to keep your dogs hydrated. Plenty of parking.

  • Jae Shaw

This place is decent! This is my back up dog park. The expressway provides great shading/coverage from sun and rain. There are issues just like any other dog park with owners not picking up behind their pets but I do know the turf is cleaned (not sure how often though).

  • raul puentes

Is the only fully covered dog park so if it rains or is the sun is blazing you can still use it, more parks should be covered like this. The only downfall is that since it gets crowded due to reliability a lot of owners dont clean after their pets so is super dirty

  • David Smith

A clean nice park dedicated to a man that loved his partner. The park has artificial grass and is located in an industrial area close to the port within walking distance of the apartments in the area. It is always in the shade and under cover from the elements.

  • Gwen Tampa

Nice but people don't pick up after their dogs. It smelled really bad as you're walking in through the gate. The trash can is right there and it smelled like poop. There was dog poop on the sidewalk outside as you're walking up to the entrance of the dog park.

  • Manny Perdomo

Nice facility, but I'm not sure about the astroturf. The place should have a water hose hose to allow you to water down messy dog poos, otherwise you feel like you and your dog are stepping in the leftover messes. It's small so this issue is even more visible.

  • Dina Bozeman

Clean and in shade of crosstown. Astro turf not grass. Water and bags for poo clean up. Tunnels to run thru and pedestals to jump on and off. I didn't care for cars driving overhead but it doesn't take away from the dogs experience. Decent parking

  • Shannon Ayers

Love this dog park! It's covered so the shade is great! It's also turf so your dogs won't get dirty! The only problem we've had there is that a lot of dog owners don't pick up their dogs poop! Other than that, it's a great place! My dogs love it.

  • Francis N

Our go to dog park. There's always many people bringing their dogs here, and we've only encountered 1 semi-aggressive dog. Everyone is pretty chill. Bonus points for it being under an overpass which provides shelter from the hot sun and rain.

  • Cathy A.

Great park. Would have been 5 starts if they had a bathroom for people. I will definitely be back. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but worth it. They have obstacles n everything. All on AstroTurf not dirt n grass. Bring ur puppy, cute place.

  • jed clampit

Unusual location for a dog park but in florida in the summer time it makes perfect sense as it's all shaded by the freeway above. Nicely kept, attificial tuff, lots of places to sit, tubes for dogs to run through. One downside, no bathrooms.

  • Connie Luong

Completely shaded. Big open area. Owners seem responsible in making sure their dogs don't get in fights. However, it's easy to catch someone not noticing their dog's potty and it really adds up quick. Sometimes there's a waste problem.

  • Eryn Wilson

This place is pretty awesome! My puppy gets time to play with all the other awesome pups. There's water for the dogs and its shaded, with plenty of doggie bag dispensers. Separate small and big dog areas. Gets super busy on weekends.

  • Erica Thompson

I enjoy taking both of my dogs here! They also have a small dog area and a large dog area which is wonderful for me because my dogs wont play which larger dogs. It's always clean and the even have a water fountain for the dogs.

  • S G

The park is great, artificial grass, water stations, small & large dog areas, the area is nice. The only negative aspect is that the dog parents don't pick up after their dogs so there tends to be a lot of poop on the floor.

  • Erinmarie Xian

LOVE this dog park. It's shaded, clean and the dogs love it. We've never had an issue with parking or otherwise. Beats any other park in Tampa with Waterworks coming in a close 2nd (parking is really terrible at Waterworks).

  • Linda Rodriguez

It is a wonderful place to take your dog. Nice spacious area, nice people, dogs play well together and people watch their dogs. It is like being indoors. It is very cool. There are different things for agility for the dogs.

  • Amanda Hardisty

Nice park with plenty of shade. The only issue is with pet owners not picking up their dog's messes. They provide bags so there is no reason someone should be leaving their dog's poop. Other than that, we had a great time.

  • Adriana

Good space for both large and small dogs. Synthetic grass, no mud on paws :). Only wish pet owners would clean up after theirs. There are plenty of doggy waste bags at the waste bin supplied on site. My dane had a blast!

  • Julio Rey

First astroturfed dog park I’d ever taken my White German Shepherd to. Nice and shady at all times due to being located under an overpass. Some of my fellow owners could have done a better job of picking up their poop.

  • Laura Ike

Busy shaded dog park with lots of canine and human friends to help wear out our giant rambunctious puppy. The AstroTurf was clean, drinking water for dogs and human. We will definitely become regulars at the park.

  • Angela Schroeder

I bring my dog here all the time and we both love it. The turf is great because people actually pick up after their dogs most of the time, and because their is no sand or dirt your dog doesn't get all dirty …

  • Emily Avadikian

Best dog park in the area, friendly people friendly dogs. Although it can get kinda dirty when people do not clean up after their dog. Overall I love that it’s shaded and separates the big dogs from the small!

  • cynthia jomeque

Love this place to pieces but wish it was kept cleaner...I used to see it being cleaned up now not so much. Owners really need to pick up waste as well. But please do more maintanance this is such a nice park.

  • Jamie Coderre

nice little park lots of traffic of dogs coming and going obstacles for the dog to play on only problem is many people dont pick up after there dog poop, and the overpass shakes dirt on you from time to time.

  • The Gunther Group

Love taking my Cane Corso here, as does she. Great place to socialize your dog. The park is very clean and the other dog owners are very kind and are pretty cool to talk to. Overall I recommend it. Thumbs up!

  • Abhijeet Chordia

Great place for fur babies. But be careful. Parents do not always pay attention to the babies and our golden got attacked twice. I would not complain but the parents didn’t even seem to come and stop tbem.

  • Kenna Pitts

We go to the small dog side and there are very few dogs there. Cleaner than big dog park side and dogs aren't as aggressive. Nice, shaded area with water and waste bags readily available. Love this place.

  • Tyson Robertson

I love this dog park. I live in the Orlando area but I come to Tampa from time to time with my dog and every time we do I hit up this park. Always a lot of dogs and people in general are always friendly!

  • Sam Goldberg

cool dog park under the highway, so you can go even when its raining. There are separate large/small dog park areas with several park features that make playing with dogs fun. Artificial turf throughout

  • Slake Counts

Great place weekend mornings or during any rainstorm. Wish folks were more mindful of their dogs waste. It's disgusting to have an animal companion but to not pick up after them. Don't be the problem.

  • Cristopher Zuniga

Great place, lots of shade. My dogs first time at a dog park and around so many dogs. She was extremely shy at first but started opening up after a bit, thanks to the nice owners and dogs there.

  • Joe Morales

Nasty dog owners. If you don’t live in the area parking is atrocious. Then the people are so tied up with conversations that they leave their dogs mess all over. Not a place I will go to again.

  • J Mak

One of the best dog parks my furry loves it here, especially I do during the morning sun
Dog-friendliness
Dogs here are usually friendly but poop is left behind a lot upsetting

  • Amy Shuman

I have always loved going to this park as it's shaded but the people that cant/don't control their dogs ruin it...but it's a large park, shaded as I said and lit up after dusk in a decent area

  • Ruth Schneider

Be thankful we have dog parks. This park, although loud from highway traffic, is nice. It's great because the overpasses create shade and protection in the rain. I think any dog park is great.

  • Marke Dee

Nice little gem. Has a large dog area separate from a small dog area. Areas seem well kept, provide dog fountains, obstacles, dog bags. This dog park is one of the best ones I've found so far.

  • Elvin Serrano

It's a great park for dogs. They have a small dog section and a big dog section. There's water fountains for the dogs, and it's artificial turf. Pretty big areas, as well. I recommend visiting

  • Krechele Walker

I love this place !!!! So nice and clean. They come spray it off once a week. Most people watch their dogs. Some dont. But it's perfect to make your dog tired and let them get their exercise!!

  • Desi Darling

Great first experience. Place was clean and dog owners were very nice. A little weird that's it turf grass but minor. Plus that it had a separate big and little dog area. Parking was limited.

  • Christopher Long

Great dog park , very spacious for the pups the run. Only problem which I won't ding the park for is the people. It seems like less and less people are picking up after their dog makes a mess

  • Pete P

Dogs owners need to pick up after their dogs.. lots of droppings everywhere, probably left from the last evening dog owners using this great park that's undercover. Good access and parking.

  • bourque amanda

Love this dog park. Seperate areas for small and large dogs. Lots of space to run. Cement tunnel tubes for them to play in. Seating areas for pet owners. Parking area that's off the street.

  • Katie Nicole

Absolutely love this dog park and I feel confident bringing my dog here. I love that it’s shaded. Dogs and their owners are enjoyable. I go way out of my way just for my dog to play here.

  • Kat Cline

Cool spot! Sheltered from sun and rain, lots of sit and play spots, love the astroturf so there's no mud or sand to clean up. We did a Great Dane meet up and there were lots of fun dogs!

  • Todd Schoeberl

Great place to take your dog...large or small. Pet parents are friendly along with their Furbabies. The ground is astroturf so no dirty paws and is under the Selma Expressway for cover.

  • Branden Doby

Awesome dog park, the atmosphere is great, love the turf and the lighting out there... I'll continue to drive past the two dog parks in my area to return to this one with my two dogs.

  • Joan Antonuccio

Dogs love it! Nice and shady. Maybe they can put a kiddie pool for the hot dogs during Summer months. Astro turf keeps cars clean too. What a wonderful way to honor a fallen officer!

  • Greg smitz (smitz327)

My daughter and I always bring her dog Rosie to this park and enjoy watching the other dogs run around and play. We haven't seen anyone that didn't pick up after their dogs so far

  • Patrick Hoelscher

Lots of room for dogs to run and play. The artificial turf prevents mud and your dog from getting dirty. Great place for rainy days as the crosstown is a great cover for the park.

  • Damien Ceparano

We love coming here, even though it's not really close by. It has shade all around. It doesn't have any areas to get muddy and there's usually plenty of new furry friends to make.

  • Maritza Magallanes

Love this park! No muddy messes. Also, great on a rainy day. Water is available for dogs. They have a small and large dog play area. Both are spacious and under the shade. …

  • Jason Dominguez

One of our favorite dog parks in Tampa area. It was free and enough parking spaces for everyone. They have a area for small dogs and big dogs. Was very clean and very well lit!

  • Jayne Cabigas

Great place to take your dog on hot, sunny or rainy days or nights (which is half the year in Tampa) because it's shaded and lit. Always guaranteed dogs will be there too.

Great dog park with turf, shade, and ample space for dogs to run around, but persistent problem with owners not picking up after their dogs - so beware of land mines.

This dog park is the best! Artificial turf for those dogs with allergies, shaded, parking, and it’s usually have enough dogs to play with. Highly recommended.

Fun place for my dog to strech his legs. It is under the cross town expressway, no rain or sunburns for me or the pooch. Great idea to utilize this space.
