We have been using the same dental practice for decades, during which time it has changed dentists and locations.  Currently it is called Dental Excellence Bay Area, and our dentist is Dr. Sandeep Potdar.  I am glad to say that the excellent service we’ve received through the years continues to be provided by Dr. Sandeep.  He and his staff are very friendly, and they seem to use the latest methods and technology to treat our problems.  We appreciate that he is very thorough and takes a conservative approach which allows us to make decisions which seem best and most cost-effective for us.  Choosing a new medical provider is a big step, but we would recommend Dr. Potdar for those in this situation.

Dr.Potdar is incredible! When I found out my dentist Dr.Nguyen whom I have had since I was a kid was leaving I was saddened. I decided to continue at her office under Dr.Potdar, who Dr.Nguyen chose as a like minded professional, and it was the very best decision. I never thought I would be this happy with his care, I am so glad I didn’t seek out anyone else. Dr.Potdar is very professional, highly knowledgeable and extremely detailed. I am very compulsive and I never settle for anyone but the best. I couldn’t be happier with Dr.Potdar.

Like many other people, I do not look forward to going to the dentist, but Dr. Potdar takes any fears one might have away the minute you sit in the chair. He is so warm and friendly. He explains everything he is doing and answers all your questions. I also love the fact that he does the teeth cleaning himself. I’ve been to other dentists where the dental hygienist does the work and then the dentist just takes a quick peek in your mouth and then on to the next. Dr. Potdar cares and you don’t feel like you’re on an assembly line.

Dr.Potdar is an excellent dentist. I had deep cleaning done with no discomfort. There was absolutely no pain. I was in a time crunch, I needed 6 filings done, the office accommodated me, the 6 fillings done the following day with local anesthesia. It was well done that soon after the procedure I felt no pain, even after anesthesia effect was gone within 10-15 mins. Dr.Potdar has excellent hand skills. He cares about patient so well. So far this is the best dental  experience I ever had. Good job Dr.Potdar!!

Dr. Potdar is an amazing dentist! The first time I went there for a cleaning, the appointment went very smoothly, I experienced absolutely no discomfort. After that, I took my daughter to his clinic. She had been with a children’s dentist for almost 10 years, so she was quite hesitant to change dentists. However, when I asked her how she felt about the appointment, she said that she also had a great experience and she wanted to keep him as her dentist. Dr. Potdar is very kind and gentle. Highly recommend!

Dr Potdar is extremely thorough and attentive. He always encourages questions and provides knowledgeable answers. He does a great job cleaning my teeth always and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. You can tell he cares about his patients. Everyone in the office is great! Linda at the front desk is always kind and helpful. Samantha is also always such a pleasure to be around and is very helpful. Overall I am extremely happy with the level of care and definitely recommend checking them out.

Dr. Potdar is very patient and attentive. Recently one of my crowns chipped off and was hurting my tongue quite a bit. He examined it determined that the crown is still salvageable, so instead of getting a new crown he smoothed out the broken area. It worked fine for me and I was very happy that I didn’t have to go thru the process of getting a new crown! Also, he explained all the details to me before he worked on it. I highly recommend him for any dental works.

Visited Dr. Potdar's clinic a few times for different treatments. I found Dr. Potdar to be an excellent dentist. He spent time with me to explain my condition and how he would be treating it. The work he did was great and I've had no problems since. His office staff is also very polite, competent and easy to work with. I have a bit of dental-phobia which has made finding a good, long-term dentist very difficult for me through the years. I was lucky to find Dr Potdar, as he is extremely kind and gentle when working on my teeth. He is also seems to understand where I’m coming from and is very patient with me and my irrational dental related fears. Also, the quality of his work is excellent. Highly recommend.

Dr. Potdar did a fantastic job with my bi-annual dental cleaning. Very thorough, no discomfort during process and he was able to remove some tough stains, which I was not convinced could be conquered. I am super pleased!!!
