"Probably the only Greek restaurant I know of in San Antonio but lucky for us it's great"
This is a nice place located in a corner. It has a parking lot with trees, which is a bonus at DT SA. Service is incredibly fast, and the restaurant is well kept and clean. I had the Demo's Chicken Plate for lunch. My honest opinion? It is fare to say: The Salad and the hand skewered Chicken Kabobs are good. However, I'd have loved the whole order was prepared from scratch. Instead, Pita Breads seem to be coming right out of the bag. And, two important components: The Stuffed Grape Leaves and the Tzatziki Sauce didn't taste fresh or made there. I don't want to upset anyone. This is just my opinion. I'm not stating is good or bad, just what I would have preferred. At the end of the day, it's a place to eat lunch with a reasonable Greek kinda style. Check it out and comment. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice parking lot. This is good to have in down town.
Dropped by yesterday for lunch and mistakenly left a $30 water bottle on the table. Went back and few hours later after I finished work and it was told the staff threw my property in the garbage and it was simply gone. Even at McDonald’s if you leave something behind the manager and staff will hold it for a reasonable amount of time, but not Demo’s. The thing is, although some staff people there are nice, not all of them are. I don’t go there as often as I might (went to school near Greek Town in Chicago, which I have always loved), but that’s because it’s not a very welcoming place. The attitude a business has toward it’s customers is reflected in the way they treat your property. I will not return to a business that treats me so poorly.

Atmosphere is nice, big menu signs, friendly service. 2 stars because the visual appearance on the menu board and the actual food size for our $50 order was a joke. $14 for 4 pieces of extra small cubes of lamb meat in the original gyro, one slice of tomato cut in half, one tea spoon of sauce on a factory made pita, just sad . $22 for the beef platter 2 small sticks of beef But lots of lettuce. Appetizer $6 for 2 triangles , really would had expected at least 4 triangles for the price, since your menu said full order for the $6. - been reheated was extra crispy. Overall nice atmosphere but food quality and price to ratios is completely off here.

Does it really taste like Greek food? I am not sure about that but I can say that the food is delicious. Tried the falafel wrap/sandwich it is served with fries. The food was fresh, falafel had a good taste to it. The white sauce drizzled on the wrap is yummy. It's been a long time I had good fries and this place have good fries crispy and cooked fresh. Dolma is not my favorite do not like the tangy/whatever taste it has, tried it in another res. Soon will try their meat options. The restaurant interiors has some nice wall and floor paintings which looks good. There is a upper level seating inside the restaurant and also ample patio seatings. Parking might be a problem if the restaurant is full house.
Probably the only Greek restaurant I know of in San Antonio but lucky for us it's great. The food here was amazing. I'm a big fan of the gyro and they give many tasty options for it. Plus their deserts were amazing to finish off your meal. They do serve beer which is always great to go with the sandwich you eat. My only downside is the homestyle fries. I wish they were seasoned. Just to give a bit more to them. Right not they are just like you'd make at home. Also there is no wait staff so you have to listen and go pick up your food. Which is only a problem when you are upstairs and it's a bit hard to hear. Other than that it's a great place for lunch or dinner. Check it out
First trying Greek food. Came here with my friends. I ordered their micro chicken lunch special w spicy feta (?). Since it’s my first trying out Greek food, I’m not sure what to expect/look out for but I throughly enjoyed my food, and surprisingly the micro wrap was very filling. Wasn’t a fan of the fries, felt a bit soggy, maybe it’s the style of the fries? The dine area is nice and spacious. Wouldn’t mind frequenting the establishment again. Oh

Sorry but never had such a bad Greek food. I took the most expensive dish that is the lamb (on the plate) , the meat was so dry, believe me I couldn't chew it. The salad beside this had feta cheese on it but all of it was so dry. Very bad experience. Please do not take this example as Greek food because not the appetizer Caciki nor the Tarama were notjing to do with the original tastes. The only good thing was the Pita. Sorry but they have to improve significantly their food quality.

Nice and spacious indoor/ outdoor seating. Tilapia gyro with fries was good. Better if I had added lemon that was available, but still good. Reduced one star because you order at the counter then pick it up yourself when it’s ready.

Found Demos while searching for food on our vacation to San Antonio for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was fast and the staff were helpful and polite. We stopped by and ate again before our vacation was over. Definitly recommend!

Staff is friendly and we're helpful in choosing various items. Outside is noisy due to construction, but inside they do a great job creating a quiet atmosphere. Great food, no real complaints. Will recommend.

Nice restaurant with upstairs seating available. The falafel was slightly dry. Overall it was good. The cashier was very helpful in explaining some of the menu items. And had a very nice friendly attitude. The food did not take long to come out. I would go back.

Stopped in a couple of days ago, and was truly impressed. The decor is comfortable and great. Love the layout, especially upstairs. The staff are great. So friendly and helpful as it was our first time visiting. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Just sorry I hadn't tried Demo's way sooner. We will be back again and again.

Great for Vegetarian Catering! Had an event last week that needed to be Vegetarian and had some guests in attendance that were also Gluten-Free: Demo's was able to accommodate both deliciously, and at a comfortable price. Excellent. Thank you!

My lamb wrap was barely palatable because the meat was salty and tough that I could barely eat it inside the wrap and not at all on its own. Very disappointing experience, I had high hopes for this place.

I rate a 2 because the wrap was wonderful however, I’m a salad person and in making a salad you should be able to spot old brown lettuce leaves. I appreciate the fact that the young lady refunded my money back for the salad to my card but I really wanted to eat a good Greek salad which I had not had since I moved from Houston.
Stopped in last minute for lunch and the service was super friendly. They recommended the spicy feta with our hummus and it was popping with flavor. We also grabbed the veggie patty burger and the tilapia wrap. The fresh cut fries were excellent and were especially good in the spicy feta.
Such tasty food! We got chicken and falafel wraps with spicy feta cheese and baklava. I appreciated the "micro" size option (still quite large) and crispy large fries. Homeade lemonade was great. Staff was friendly- very casual spot.

Wow this food is so good! The spicy feta was something I had never seen before and it was really good! Not really spicy I’d say mild. Pita is soft and fresh. Salad was amazing! Would come back again for sure!

First time visiting this restaurant and we loved it! Food was sooo tasty, restaurant was clean, staff was very nice. We ordered the sampler plate plus Falafels as an appetizer, it was served very generously! Soo yummy! Highly recommended A+++
Twice now ive ordered here and both times my order has been completely wrong. The first time my wrap was made wrong. The second time I didn't receive either of the sides I ordered, the sandwich had a single portion of meat (looks more like
Such a pleasant place to eat, have had lunch and dinner here this week. Had the Greek salad, cause it's huge, fresh and delicious. Took my wife last night and this picky eater are it ALL, she had a spicy Gyro sandwich. The bookstore fries
Free refills on homemade lemonade!!! Always a good choice for an amazing and filling gyro! Patio seating is awesome, staff is very nice. Great date idea, and they have a steak option too. The baklava is so good, but my girlfriend said it
I love Demo’s !! Consistency is always impressive in a restaurant and Demo’s has been consistently serving great Greek food in San Antonio for as long as I can remember. I had the lunch special here this week and it was as good as ever!
Fantastic mini Gyro with chicken, fries, and a Greek salad. The pita was soft, and the chicken was cooked to perfection.

If you haven't been to this place you're missing out if you like Greek food. We always get their Gyros the mozzarella, they're amazing. Also ask for a side of their tzatziki if you order the gyros, it's gooood.
Holy cow this was a great chicken gyro!! It really hit the spot, and the baklava was so delicious and flakey. I just wish that I could eat more! Oh hey and they made the lemonade homemade, wowwwee
When you're in the mood for Greek food, Demo's is the place to go! The lettuce was crispy, the gyro meat was tasty & the dolmas were yum! This place has a great atmosphere & we enjoyed it a ton!

Good as always. I had the petit greek salad with a gyro, double meat and fries on the side. Perfect for a hot afternoon. Sweet to wash it all down.
I went here with my friends for a girls night and it was amazing! The food was as good as I remembered from years ago, and everyone was impressed More
A San Antonio classic, best gyros in town and great traditional Greek belly dancing performances regularly! Affordable and yummy. More
Meh! The fries are always undercooked, because they're so thick. And the pita bread never seems to be fresh and falls apart. More
Demo’s Greek Food is delicious (and authentic)! We ordered food takeout, which took about 10-15 minutes from the moment we
Gyro was dry, but the sauce helped , the pita was nice and soft, fries were amazing. The falafel pita was good
