Peaceful place to walk with lot's of bird noises about. Good solid path with seating along the way. Not like some other nature forests that have trails into the forest, the land slope is quite severe in places plus with the river may be why.

Walked from Fairfield Station to Darebin Parklands to Southern Road along the creek trail, then bus home from Northland Mall. About 10 km. Pleasant walk beside the creek. Shared pathway, bit dangerous with the bikes traveling at maximum

Nice quiet place to spend some time in your busy schedule. You can bring a bike or just walk alone or with family and it will seem very close to nature, though not far from city. Or you may bring a book to sit somewhere and read.

Live nearby so walk the Darebin Creek Trail frequently. Enjoy the bird life, watching the seasons change on the trees and the creek changes according to rain. Many walk their dogs and ride bikes along the 26 km of track.

Love this place, feels like you're far away from the bustle of city life. I wish ParksVic would install some dog litter bags. Walked for over an hour carrying poo bag, is this a Council run park? Please consider this.

It was a beautiful morning down by Darebin creek today, between Southern Rd and Gona St. It's the end of February and there's just a hint of mellowing of the harsh summer light.

Nice selection of plant and bird life. Site kept natural as possible what's makes it nice to walk around to clear one's head well worth intending for a walk.

Love this remnant River Red Gum forest, even if we have only left it thin and narrow. They survive and are magnificent. The creek is goodd too
