No help through phone. Unfortunately, I’m starting to lose hope in those who protect and serve. I went through domestic violence awhile back with a gun at the location, I was pregnant and at the time I’d call 911 was not taking serious, I had to wait up to 3 hours because my call “was not important enough” the dispatcher said for me to leave my current location to a safe location. Waited up to 3 hours, I called 911 again finally the dispatcher asked if any weapons were in the house, note I’m not at the danger location, I said yes but I’m not in danger I provided information to dispatcher again. I asked if I was needed at the scene of where I originally called. She ignored me and sent 5-6 policemen all with their guns pointed at me, police went inside the location wanting to arrest the wrong guy again at the wrong location, I rexplained the entire situation to the police officers only for them to say yeah we’re not going to make another trip you should’ve waited at your location. Who understands them?

Absolutely horrible. Called 911 at 9:40 pm for a noise complaint and repeated gunshots around my home. It is now 12:15 am and no one has came out yet! I have called 911 FOUR TIMES!!! Called to this department only to have a “ supervisor” tell me that the noise and gunshots were only considered a level 3 or 4 priority and offered to give me the number to Code Enforcement to make noise complaint…even after hearing the gunshots herself over the phone! REALLY Also found out there were 1 or 2 more calls off my street for the same issue. Gunshots are still being fired as I am typing this..I have told my kids to stay away from the windows. No one should have to call 911 FOUR TIMES for the same thing! Bullets have to land somewhere..and I’m praying no one gets hurt..but if anyone does I hope a lawyer is near by because at this rate DPD and 911 are laying grounds for a lawsuit for failure to do their jobs. This is absolutely ridiculous.

If I could give this Police Station a 0 I would . They absolutely have no care in the people calling. I have been a victim of stalking and destruction of my home. Since last year around the same time. This person was locked up and got released 6 months later and comes back around my home 2 months later. NOTE I have a protective order against this person , this happened as I am writing this. Note this person came around 4:15am, neighbors called and we did many times and as of right now no cop had appeared. As a woman that has a protective that I struggled so much to obtain , it almost feels like I have no protection of anything . This person that has bipolar disorders and mental problems, was here for 45 min stalking and police a no show. It’s just sad, until something worse gets done that’s when they do a bit better. Unbelievable. Do your job or leave.

Arizona man speaking to the authorities here at this station and also to who may it concern. Apparently the unknown female officer who mistaken botham shem Jean's home as her own entered his home and had thought he was a intruder fatally killing the man. Let me tell you she was the true intruder, she was probably on some type of drug or highly intoxicated. (Very) unprofessional. This kinda act should have the female officer prosecuted ASAP, Life in prison. But think people if it was the other way around if the man killed the officer his or her identity will be revealed in a heart beat. But this station is to embarrassed and ashamed but as soon as the charges been filled will see who this trooper is. SAD. R.I.P Botham shem Jean. Your in God's hands now.

I'd give a negative star if it was possible. Badge number 7618 is a disgrace to your Department. Detaining people and then putting his hands into their pockets is disgusting for a person just taking pictures in public. This is terrible Behavior he needs to be fired and or retrained. I think his qualified immunity should be taken away as well absolutely disgusted by the behavior of this Police Department in this badge number here. It's certainly not conducive to having tourists come to your city. Only problem is if you fire this no good cop some other department of pick him up cuz y'all watch out for each other. When good cops stop looking out for bad cops then maybe it'll be some progress in these departments. I'm just disgusted.

WORST POLICE STATION IVE EVER CAME ACROSS TO IN MY LIFE. EVEN AT THE CRIMINAL COURT ON RIVERFRONT WHERE I WORK HAVE TALKED DOWN ON THIS POLICE STATION AND OTHER PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR THE SYSTEM HAVE SAID THE SAME CLERKS, JUDGES, DETECTIVES AND OTHER P.O's HAVE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS THE WORST POLICE STATION IN DALLAS. THEY DONT DO ANYTHING BUT SIT ON THEIR BEHINDS AND WAIST OUR TIME. BUT I MEAN OF COURSE THEY ARE IN THE GHETTO AND ACT LOWLIFE THEY SEEM SO UNEDUCATED SERIOSULY THIS IS SAD I WOULDNT LET MY KIDS LOOK UP TO THESE PEOPLE. ONCE THEY TAKE OF THAT UNIFORM AND BADGE THEYRE NOBODY. OH AND THAT DETECTIVE THAT WORKS THERE JESUS! THAT POSITION AS DETECTIVE IS TOO BIG FOR HIS CAPACITY.

This is for D Chatman..Badge 1263..you gave me a parking ticket because i was facing the wrong way on a residential street..all you had to do was put a note..that was all..if you would have look in my rear window, you would have seen that i am Military..you would also seen that I am a Full Supporter of Three Org..Dallas Police, Trooper and Sheriff Association..i am Appalled..you have better things to do than go around neighborhood looking how people park there Veh..Don't you Think..

Every experince is differient but I can say They are awesome.I may not like the way they handle me but they help when need be.They have hearts just like u and I.But I was let down and hurt during my experience this time.But I know Jesus will make a way to fix things when he speaks with Jehovah.Things are going to be alright In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

For my experience I called police in the morning and I was in shock after what happened to me the officer who was assigned to my call is called archer he helped me very good I will never forget how he helped my kids and out I wish I can tell him thanks …

This police department clearly doesn't understand that they exist to serve the public and protect the Constitutional rights of it's citizens. The precedent for this is clearly evident and has been captured on YouTube and other forums.

Nothing good about them they had me waiting for seven hours just to make a police report about an accident they never showed up I even waved down at least 15 police cars they all looked at me like I was stupid and kept driving

looks like officers here think they are above the law and can treat free citizens any way the feel..departments like this is why there is such a disconnect between police and the people.
