Regis Cycles is a great place for road bike enthusiasts. Their staff is extremely pleasant to deal with and I appreciate their solid objective advice. (Vincent is great to deal with) There is absolutely no "hard pressure selling" at the store-which is why i would keep buying there. In fact, last year when i was gonna buy a brand new accessory for my bike and i described the defective part to one of the staff member, he actually said it was NOT necessary to buy the new part but all I had to do was make an adjustment instead (wow-that’s impressive honesty and straight forwardness) Also-i bought a new road bike wheelset (mavic) at Regis a few months ago and it started to act up and brought it to a couple of other local bike shops. They could not figure it out and told me “the noise is normal and it’s supposed to be that way”..blah blah, blah, Obviously I was not too pleased about this and brought it to Regis to check it out. Within a few mins, one of their mechanics ( i think it was Benjamin) diagnosed and fixed the problem on the spot. There was some other issue with my Hybrid bike and their mechanics fine tuned and adjusted the derailleurs to perfection. (ie –no chain rub and shifted flawlessly for months), where other bike shops could not. I will never bring my bikes for derailleur adjustments to anywhere but Regis from now on! Prices seem fair at Regis (not the cheapest or most expensive)... but the main reason I will personally keep shopping at Regis is because of their top gun number#1 mechanics and the great objective advice I get from the staff. Keep up the great work guys and happy riding!

Antoine wanted to charge me 30$ more than the price discussed. When I told him that the price shown in screen not as we discussed he said sorry it was filled by mistake ! Then I was confused b/w M or L, and he did not help me choose the right size for me. He kept just saying that M fits me! Day after I called him to cancel my purchase , then he told me that he will charge me 40$ for the cancellation. I told him to do nothing and I will call you back(I wanted just to do some research about this fees). Few seconds he call me back saying that he will change me just 10$!! I said no then he told me that he will give me back my money !!! Never comeback to this shop agaaaain

I usually do my own repairs but their service is incomparable when it comes to buying parts and their prices are always competitive. I once had to bring my winter bike in for a stuck bottom bracket; it took an incredible amount of force to take it out and they charged a very standard price for the job it turned out to be. I should have to come to them much sooner; I used to keep going my usual places as this one seemed to be geared mostly toward the advanced cyclists (high-end bikes I could not afford) but they are an excellent place for service no matter how (in)expensive your bike is.

Cycles Regis is my go to, when it comes to bicycle Repair and really anything related to cycling. It’s been over 4 years now since I knew the shop and my experience has only been great. “For a perspective, cycles Regis is a shop where the mechanics are kind enough to let you pop in without no appointment to get a quick trouble shoot and the best part not charging you”. It’s by far the best in Montreal. I always get quality services and products for very competitive prices with a friendly and knowledgeable peoples that are always ready to give the best customer service experience.

Get this, I chose this place because they had the bike in stock. When placing the order I asked if it could be ready in 1 week, the salesperson (Etienne) said they would do their best. 10 days later I called to see the status of my in stock bike (spoke to someone else), they said it’s normal, the delays are a minimum of 3 weeks to one month as all customers are advised at purchase. In summary he explains that there is a pandemic that has been going on for 2 years (news flash), no one is Canada can give a better service, no full refund and he doesn’t believe I wasn’t told.

Very nice staff, I called in advance and the waitlist for bike repairs was over 2 weeks long. They explained they also offered a drop-in service on Saturdays, for which they suggested to arruve before the store opening. I arrived 30min before the opening and was first in line, lineup was around 12 people when they opened the door. Very friendly mechanics, who take the time to explain the repairs and the options you have. They have a texting system and message you when the bike is ready. I felt confident leaving my bike there. Happy with the repairs and the service.

Professional and welcoming staff providing excellent description of what needs to be done and why. In some bike shops in Montréal, I have experienced some level of arrogance from the staff, but that was not the case here. Looking at the people working there, they seem to be happy and get on well with each other, so I guess management is doing a good job as well. Adding to this, the space is very nice with a cool design. A good selection of bikes and accessories. All in all the place is highly recommended. It is not my last time going there

I can't thank these guys enough. I've been their customer for the past year and all I can say is that the service that they give is above and beyond you get. From building a bike from scratch by just giving them the parts, to the attention to detail they do on tune ups and replacements, man these guys are the best! To Paul and the guys in the back, you guys rock! Thank you so much for giving the best service! Definitely gonna keep coming back till my pocket goes broke cause of "upgradetitis" LOL.

Soyez méfiants si vous n'êtes pas connaisseurs. Ils gonflent les factures, surtout pour ceux qui essayent d'avoir des conseils. Une pauvre demoiselle devant moi s'est fait vendre un pneu neuf (malgré le fait que le sien est amplement correct) ainsi que mise dans le doute pour d'autres aspects de son vélo (chaîne, plaque de freins). Ils sont aussi très cherrant pour la maintenance, minimum 50$ pour une petite intervention sur le vélo + prix de la pièce. Trouvez une plus petite Shop plus honnête.

Gang de passionnés et de connaisseurs. Je suis un néophyte du vélo de performance et ils m’ont aidé à faire les bons choix en me posant les bonnes questions et en cherchant à comprendre mes besoins. Arrived there on the spot at 15:00 to have my rear wheel aligned, first been told by some rep, that I would need an appointment and it will be two weeks to get one, then I went in the back to explain my case to Paul one of the repair guy in duty. I do not have a car and it is difficult for me to come back on the week end because of my work, Paul said no problem he was supposed to finish his day but took my bike nonetheless to check it and tune it. Five stars from a very hard marker ! I was well guided by Vince in my quest to select the "perfect" bike ...he was beyond attentive, patient and respectful ! The bike fit by Gerard was equally accurate, professional and detailed to provide perfect comfort. The expertise of the staff in the repair department is rivalled only by their cheerful attitude ! And ,everyone perfectly bilingual too! So impressive !

J’ai précommandés un vélo Trek. Quand je suis allé le chercher J’ai du demander à ce qu’on l’ajuste à ma taille je me serais attendu à ce que ça vienne de soit. Les pédales installer sur le vélo ne sont pas les pédales de Trek mais des wellgo ? En résumé 3 étoile car les vélos sont rare c’est temps-ci et eu en avais un Les 2 étoiles perdues a cause du service… A 1h30 de char je ne pense pas y retourner.

Pas très accès sur le service… j’achète un porte bagages vendredi, le vendeur me dit de revenir samedi pour l’installation. Je retourne samedi, la personne au comptoir me dit d’aller voir en arrière sans quitter des yeux son laptop ou lever la tête. En arrière le prochain rendez-vous pour installer un porte-bagages de vélo est dans 3 semaines. Ça prend 10 minutes à installer un porte-bagages de vélo.

Rien à redire, bon service! Je suis entré avec mon vélo vers 16h30 un dimanche en demandant s'ils pouvaient me changer un câble de frein qui m'avait lâché en descendant la Côte-Sainte-Catherine. Ils l'ont fait tout de suite, en même pas 10 minutes, avec le sourire. J'ai bien aimé le service et j'hésiterais pas à y retourner si le besoin se faisait sentir. Merci!

Got a good quality bicycle from Regis several (13?) years ago. With good maintenance service, it was kept in perfect condition and it feels like new. The mechanics are helpful, skilled, and efficient. Always, received very friendly, fast, and thorough service. For minor repairs or full-scale tuneup, I have always been entirely satisfied with my experience.

Le technicien trois fois m'a donné de bons conseils, incluant une fois pour le vélo de mon ami. J'ai cru qu'il fallait de nouveaux engrenages de devant, mais il a dit d'attendre le résultat du remplacement des engrenages arrières. On dirait qu'ils savent ce qu'ils font! Maintenant je viens de remplacer le dérailleur et son fil! Mon vélo est tout neuf!

Ils sont efficaces pour la réparation et pas très cher (15$ la main d'oeuvre). Attention la réparation c'est sur rendez-vous et c'est surbooké : 2 mois d'attente au moment où j'ecris ce commentaire. Vous pouvez venir le samedi matin avant l'ouverture et ils vous prenne sans rendez-vous en ouvrant !! Ça c'est génial merci à eux.

They did a great job changing my chain and cassette. They did other minor and one major tweak which the owner was very kind to wave the charge. They're a very nice crew, great mechanics and over all always an awsome experience going there! They also wiped the bike clean which I appreciated very much. Best shop in town!

Awesome service. Even though bikes have been in short supply everywhere, they took the time to check all their incoming stock so I could have many options available. Communication was excellent. I'm very happy with the purchase and experience. Additionally, they also did the positioning of the road bike.

Went to buy a 3$ adapter for my pump/tires. Friendly staff. The guy at the front desk took a few seconds to greet me even though he was with another customer. I also spoke with the employee at the workshop in the back about a part i wanted to replace and he was also helpful, answering all my questions.

Went here to fix a tire. The repairman was incredibly helpful, fixing my tire within 10 minutes and gave tips and tricks on how to prevent puncturing tubes when installing them. Would I recommend this place? Hell yes, they're fast, kind and professional.
