I've seen Dr Valera three times so far for the regular check up and replacing the old fillings. I'm so glad to find her after moving to Almaden Valley. She was very fast yet detailed during the filling process. Even though she worked on multiple fillings at the same time, it took less than I expected, and after I got the new fillings, the bites were very comfortable (she adjusted several times until I was fully satisfied). Also, she was very considerate during the process by explaining the every step she was going through and by supporting me with a few different tools so that opening my mouth the whole time was not that painful. Additionally, she personalized the deep cleaning approach. Once I told her that the most frequently used cleaning method that I've gotten in other dental offices made my teeth super sensitive for a few weeks, she took another approach, which was equally refreshing yet much more gentle. I would highly highly recommend her to those who are looking for a very competent and kind dentist.

I called Dr Valera’s office early morning because my husband broke a molar. Alice the receptionist was absolutely amazing and gave us an appointment for that very early afternoon Sensing the urgency in it. First time for us to visit this office. It is very clean and follows all procedures to keep it Covid free.( Alice took our temperature as we came in) We then saw Dr Valera after filling up some paper works. We can not say enough of our new dentist. Absolutely amazing in her knowledge and explanations. We felt very comfortable speaking with Dr Valera, asking all kinds of questions and her answers were very graciously given. She never pressured us out to finish our consultation. She waited for us to have no more to ask. She then made an immediate appointment with the surgeon and how to get to his office. 5out of 5 for Dr Valera and her office. THANK YOU. A few months ago I was having terrible tooth pain and was really scared about seeing a dentist. I'm nervous about all things dental and I hadn't been to a routine checkup in years. I am so lucky that I found Dr. Valera. She helped me get started on a path to repair all of the damage and walked me through the process. She was never judgemental and never made me feel guilty about where I was. She and Hillary have acted as my team to get through this process and really made me feel like I had a support system. If you're scared about the process or the pain this is the dentist for you.

I found Dr. Valera through a referral when I was looking for a new dentist in the South Bay. I had still been returning to my childhood dentist 3 hours away, and finally decided to get a local dentist. And I am so glad I did! Dr. Valera is amazing, she takes great care in her exams and cleanings. I have sensitive teeth, and she knows this, always taking extra time to make sure I don't experience any discomfort. Unfortunately I've also had to have a few fillings, but she always thoroughly explains what she is doing, and makes it as easy as possible! She's the best!

I needed to see Dr. Valera asap because of an soreness on my gum. She saw me as soon as she had an appointment. The appointment was made on a Tuesday at first. The receptionist called and had an opportunity that opened up on Monday afternoon. I took it! Very nice to remember my concern for seeing her asap. I need to see a specialist in extractions and Dr Valera sped up the process and called herself to make the appointment, explained my condition and sent the current x-rays of my gum. Thank you Dr. Valeria and her kind receptionist.

Dr. Valera is excellent! After avoiding going to the dentist for several years due to jaw pain I decided to try again with a new dentist and am so happy I found Dr. Valera. Over the last year and a half I've had multiple procedures done (fillings, crowns, etc.) and Dr. Valera made me feel comfortable through it all. She is always very accommodating to my history of jaw pain and takes frequent breaks to make sure I'm not in any pain. Overall she is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about her patients - I can't recommend her enough!

I recommend Dr.Valera’s office for the most personable and welcoming approach with both children and adults. She made my three year old love dental visits, by having a patient and detailed play by play of what was going on. As well as, why it was necessary to get cleanings and the importance of brushing and flossing. The knowledge and resources provided to my daughter about orthodontics, helped her feel like she was in great hands. If you are looking for a dentist for the entire family, this is the office you should be looking into.

I am terrible about getting to the dentist as often as I should. I am also very uncomfortable with everything that comes along with it. I called Crown Family because I was having gum swelling and they were very accommodating. Leyli and Hilary made me feel so much better about having my cleaning done. They were so awesome that I will be back in 4 months for a routine visit! I can not reccommend this place enough. Go get your teeth taken care of!

Excellent service! Dr. Valera is a pleasure to work with. Very friendly and thorough. For once in my life, I don’t dread going to the dentist office. She’s very helpful and you can always tell that she sincerely wants to help, even if it’s something that’s outside of the scope that she may handle, she has a world of resources and is always happy to make a referral. Dr Valera is very kind and friendly. Provides the opposite experience than your typical dreaded visit to the dentist. She took her time with the cleaning and was careful not to slice your gums. She also provided practical advice and explained things simply. It’s easy to tell she loves what she does and is very skilled, patient and thorough. I am visiting from Florida and I broke a tooth. I found Dr. Valera on Google and read all the positive comments her patients made. So I decided to go to her and I tell you they were right!
