Pros: 1. This crosswords at Phoenix Market City has a small sitting area where you may sit and flip through some of your favorite books. 2. A dedicated stationary section, where you will find standard stationary supplies, art and craft supplies. Unlike landmark store of forum mall, here the stationaries are displayed and stacked properly as it should be. Easy to find. 3. Has Amazon Kindle and Echo try out section 4. Has some of the best coffee table books collections. Which otherwise you may not find online. 5. Games/Toys available for kids 6 Most of the genres of books are available both in the fiction and non fiction section for every age group. Kids would definitely like the display of the books and it may encourage them to read more such books. Cons: 1. Most of the books are sold in the MRP, which otherwise you may get at a much cheaper price in Amazon or Flipkart . 2. No discounts on most of the stationaries or toys 3. Stationaries like Zebra Mildliners, Tombow brush pen, pentel energel 0.5mm pen etc are not available. Which may be included in the stationary section which will add variety and distinguish it from the regular stores.

Costly Bookstore I have visited Crossword Bookstore manytimes.The environment of the store is good with endless variety of books to choose from.One can easily check out a book in a peaceful surrounding.The staff is cooperating and helpful too.I came across many good books which I am reading now. But Why I rated it average? I’ll tell you why! The books in the store are sold cost to cost.Whereas if you buy the same book from other retailers you can save upto 300 rs on your purchase.I found out a great book in the store which was of Rs 1500.I came back home and I searched the book online and I found it for Rs 1000.If I would have purchased it from Crossword I would have been in a loss of Rs 500. The store is great, I love to go there and check out books but why should I purchase it from there when can I save a hefty amount of money by buying it from online or by any other retail/wholesale store. #bookstore #crossword

I purchased a book in Crossword Bookstore which cost 900 INR after coming out Check the same books in Amazon n it is for 350 INR.... with in half an hour I went for returning but they are not ready to take return and the staff asked me to come after 15 days for exchange. As per return policy I need to return with in 15 days no after 15 days.. They didn't take the book return not exchanged. I wasted my money. Visited Crossword store in VR Mall, Bengaluru. Apparently photography (I was clicking a selfie of mine) not allowed. I dont have any problem with that. You can have whatever rules you want. However its not written explicitly anywhere in the store that photography is not allowed. The attendant rudely came and said "Excuse me, not allowed!" Dear Crossword, I have 2 suggestions here. 1. If photography is not allowed, call it out explicitly somewhere in the store. 2. Hire people who know how to talk or atleast train them to have basic courtesy.

It's a book store mainly, but shocked to see a bunch of illiterate , uneducated staffs over there, they do not have any knowledge of books and store. Super rude staffs who can not communicate properly even with customers. They are suitable for housekeeping job only. Housekeeping staffs much more efficient thn these people. Unlike other crossword store this store appointed few staffs who are not interested to perform their job.

Pathetic staff, they don't know anything about the deals, they put placards on places where no offer is applicable. The staff is rude and egoistic not willing to take feedback and think that the customer is a fool. Please buy from Amazon, it will save you from a lot of irritation. They are tricking you into buying stuff for a far more price than you think its for.

This Crossword branch in VR, Mahadevpura is not the biggest one for sure. It has good collection of books for children and young adults but when it comes to fiction and non fiction, I didn't find good collection. You'll still find the best selling authors but if you're looking for a underrated book, the chances of getting it here in this store is really low.

Amongst the very few bookstores left in Bangalore. This store may not be perfect, may not be complete, may not be huge, yet packs a punch and has something for everyone of all ages. Worth visiting if you are round the corner. The store has books for all ages, souvenirs (some) , stationary (limited) and toys amongst others.

I recently visited this bookstore, and they had a good selection of books for kids. Unfortunately, the staff was unhelpful. They simply informed us that the book we were looking for was not in stock, but we managed to find it ourselves during our search. Additionally, it felt like the staff was rushing to close the store.

We have crossword gift vouchers. We told staff that we have vouchers. They said okay. But after spending 25 mins in selecting books, they says that they don't accept it as they're franchise. What a shame if Crossword franchise do not respect their vouchers.

Had some issues with the staff where they refused to return some money I overpaid vis gPay. They were insistent that it would be refunded automatically. I had to reach out to their boss to get my money back. Other than this, it is a good store.

Well maintained book store with limited but latest collection of books. Books are sold on MRP and no discount is given, usually you get some discounts at other book stores. People at the counter should be a bit more customer-friendly.

Too small for a store carrying the brand name 'Crossword'. Seemed more like a delivery unit. Store did not stock old publications. They did have the latest releases though.

Nice collections. Staff is supportive and helpful. I always make sure to visit Crossword whenever I visit VR Mall. My kids love to come here after visiting the fun world.
