It has a unique architecture but that’s not its secret. Inside on the first floor is an elaborate quirky unusual idiosyncratic collection of exhibits describing the history of Bexar County. It’s a cacophony of sound and eye candy video as every few feet you walk in the exhibition a new video starts. It’s quite a show even if you don’t come away with a lot. Most interesting was the archives exhibit showing the original document on one side and clear English on the other.
Courthouse it's a busy place always, people, lawyers, judges and more. A clean and quiet place, beautiful building located at downtown. Well preserved. Has inside a cafeteria and vending machines. Besides that, has Bibliotech, where you can borrow a book reader or just jount them to have access to thousands of online books, which can be downloaded to your tablet and it's totally free.
Navigating the legal system often feels like an infuriating cycle, leaving the jury to bear the financial burden. No freebies—no coffee, no complimentary parking. A measly $20 compensation, a drop in the bucket compared to potential work losses. It highlights the stark contrast between the struggles faced by the jury and the seemingly untouched pockets of the legal elite.
This was one of the highlights of San Antonio TX. The court house, is supposed to be the oldest court house still functioning in the county. It really stands out by the red rock walls and the red tower. We did not go in because had nothing to be on trial for, luckily. But it was definitely nice to appreciate the majestic building.
One of the most beautiful buildings I saw throughout the entire city. This building oozed old grandeur. The architecture is so interesting. For a city as old as San Antonio, it would be lovely to be able to see other buildings with the same presence as the Bexar County Courthouse... breathtaking!
Its a maze. Not handicap friendly. No free parking. Couldn't find a handicap entrance. Can't park near the building. Too many high stairs. Its not public accommodating. Don't go there, unless you have to. Needs lots of improvements. Could be improve, just needs the foresight.
Nothing against probate office just wish there was an adviser to direct you in right direction verse taking up their time verse them helping people that need to turn in paper work. Military is no longer helping adult children of dependent with probate will.
Extremely confusing place . I was having problems getting to where needed to go to and ask for directions like three different times was sent to the wrong floor 3 times not to mention at least the wrong entire building. OMG EXTREMELY CONFUSING.
Well I had an appointment but judge wasn't given my appointment so I was upset that happened to me that day...very upset. It was for my divorce that I had been waiting due to COVID over 5years now I guess.hope I can get help the next time
There is no public parking for this building, that I know of. Parked a block over on the curb for about 1.50. Building is only accessible by the public on either end.
Free museum inside. Was a wonderful museum with video to watch, old cannon, much more even original doctor equipment from long ago. Loved it my son wants to go again.
Been practicing law for 30 years and have seen the expansions and changes. It's a great place for Judges, lawyers, court personnel, etc. to work.
Last time I was in San Antonio I went to the Riverwalk and Sea World. It was a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend going in August.
Beautiful after they redid everything. Great exhibition inside 1st floor of the Courthouse. Biggest problem is the lack of parking!
Bâtiment en brique rouge surprenant au cœur de tous les autres plutôt blanc ou en verre.
