I’ve been a regular here for the last 8 or so years, and boy does this store never disappoint. The team here are some of the best people I’ve ever encountered (period) and have been the most helpful, outgoing, and outstanding retail staff out there. Any and all questions - either via email or Facebook - are answered promptly and thoroughly, and any (rare) issue with an order is resolved as soon as humanly possible. I’ve dropped off my weekly comics a lot in the past year or so, but the team here still greet me like an old friend when I do return to the store, often having my order ready to go at the counter for the moment I’m done browsing. To top it all off: their Comics Etc. Direct website is the best around for pre-ordering singles and collections (especially Omnibuses) at a discounted price. I don’t get online orders delivered often, but the few times I have, they’ve been bombproof in their packaging. Truly the standard all online book sellers should aspire to. In person or online: the best of the best. I think I’ve been response for half their new customers in the past 8 years, because I tell anyone who will listen to go in - or just drag them along with me so they can get as hooked as I am.

Let’s start by saying if I could leave 0 stars I would. This was by far the worst experience of buying comics I have ever had in 30 years of collecting comics. Out of the 7 Marvel comics that I purchased 3 of the where damaged. 1 was folded on one side and had spine ticks, 2nd had the top of the cover torn and a spine tick, 3rd had spine ticks. When I requested new copies be sent, I was told: "Unfortunately the paper that marvel uses for their covers isn't the best and imperfections like the ones you've encountered are very common. Any that we supply you are going to be in the same condition. I have never had any order of marvel comics turn up with so much damage. I believe that these comics were not brand new and that I was sent used comics. I will add that I did return the comics and they were fully refunded and the return postage paid for by the shop. Just very disappointed with the service and the dishonesty of the staff trying to pull the wool over my eyes and blaming Marvels bad paper for the shops mishandling of their comics (Or selling used comics). Will never purchase from there again.

Good comic shop but personal skills are ZERO. I’m a regular and walked in today around 1045am. One bloke at the counter. No eye contact EVEN when I walked up to him and said, “Merry Christmas mate”! Didn’t even look up. ZERO interest. Not another word said. How do nimrods like this get jobs in sales. I’m done.

Huge range, not just DC and Marvel many other publishers. Have a selection of older stock. Also has books from video games and also has plenty of manga and such to go around. Really cool aesthetic. Couple of life size models. They do sell a selection of busts and Action figure and what not. Cool store …

Customer service wasn’t great. Asked about a comic coming out and got a shrug ‘they just show up when they do’ so apparently their ordering is done by fairies. Also no local comics which is pretty disappointing considering they were heavily promoting a US comic written by an Aussie ‍♂️ …

My go to shop, and I live in Victoria. Their customer service is fantastic; answering emails within an hour or so multiple times per day. Their FOC pre order site Comics Etc Direct is amazing. Cheapest prices guaranteed in Australia. $10 flat rate monthly ship fee. Highly recommend to everyone.

The daughter and I had a fantastic time. We found what we wanted and more. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is a lot to look at in the relatively small space. It's the TARDIS of all things comics.

I have just been to this store for the first couple of times recently and it is a very warm welcoming experience. The guys who work there really care about providing genuine customer service.

Service is always great, and they are happy to help out if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. Click and collect mostly these days though, which is always a convenience.

A fantastic selection of comics for nearly any graphic novel fan. They have all the trades along with a great collection of books, merch, and even stuff for younger readers.
