If you are looking for something for that special person either adult or child and they like to read this Bookshop is the go to! If they haven't got it in they can order it in for you. They have DVDs, of shows from the ABC, also there are books that a dog owner or new owner would like to have to help them look after them. The employees are happy to help you. Great bookshop. I've shopped here a number of times. I've managed to find some beautiful books for gifts, that I haven't seen anywhere else. Originally, I thought they would be expensive, but found they are on a par with most book stores. There's also a lovely range of gifts. I think it's so important to shop local and support small business. Would definitely recommend.

Wanted to find a book that couldn't get else where. They knew the author and I manged to get the book, even signed. Communication was awesome and fast. If I need a book it's the place to go. Sorry for doing an edit but had to add we had a house fire and sadly lost the book. But Collins had another copy and I managed to get that one.

This is a secret little piece of heaven tucked away in the main street of Croydon for every lover of books. Reminds me of "The shop around the Corner" in the Meg Ryan/ Tom Hank's movie "You've got mail". Go there, buy something ...... there are so few good bookshops left. Just phoned Croydon Bookseller and spoke to Mark regarding a book I needed sent out (due to Covid) as my local store didn't have a copy. It is a gift for my father's birthday and needed it ASAP as I have (as usual) left things to the last minute. Mark was SO friendly, accommodating and helpful. Brilliant service. Thank you!

Love going for a leisurely stroll around the duck ponds and also to c the difference since they pulled down Pembroke S.C There is so much space to walk or just sit around on the numerous seats plus the playground is an absolute favourite of my step-daughter 'Sienna' which we visit all the time.

We loved it. We came in with no idea what books we were after. The librarian who looked after us had an amazing passion and knowledge and really tried to help us. And she did. We left with a pile of books that my daughters are devouring as we speak. And they beautifully gift-wrap with a smile.

I didn't get what I was after on this visit but the staff are very helpful regardless and even offered to order the item in for me. This is the most well stocked Collins bookstore I've ever been in and it's a bit of a Croydon institution. Highly recommended for local authors too!

I don't buy a lot of books any more (kindle is too convenient) we went in here to but a puzzle, and found the have a limited selection of comics! Was very happy to find comics, well trade paperbacks anyway, there are not many places around here that sell them

A well stocked and interesting bookshop, but I am not happy with the large number of pro climate change books in the science section, whereas the many titles in print arguing from the climate sceptic point of view don't appear on the shelves.

Sadly, I don't get out here as often as I'd like to but when I have a few spare hours it is so worth the train trip (& I can always read on the train!). The people here are knowledgeable, friendly & super helpful, while never being pushy.

Our family loves this book shop. It's well stocked has caters for contemporary and eclectic taste too. The atmosphere is lovely and staff are brilliant. There are really good coffee shops close by the best being directly opposite.

Beautiful little bookshop on main street in Croydon. Cosy and quaint. Full range of brand new books available. Also a variety of book related items including book ends, door stops, bookmarks, puzzles, journals etc.

A treasure of a store, full to the brim with beautiful gems (books, gifts, cards, games, puzzles...) and the most helpful, knowledgeable staff. It's always a pleasure to visit Collins in Croydon.

On a couple of occasions, with only a title or author or photo I have been successful in getting the books I wanted. The shop has a comfortable, friendly vibe necessary for book browsing.

The staff really do love books. I have found them very helpful on many occasions. They have ordered books in for me, made recommendations, are friendly and they have a very cute dog.
