I had a horrible experience with this location and I’ve used college hunks 4 other times. I have been trying to get in touch with the manager for over a month with no response! Customer service has left 5-10 messages for the location, telling me wait 3-5 business days. Obviously that isnt working. The movers got into an argument during the move and charged me for the time they were down at the truck arguing and they tried to use me as a mediator for the argument. Didn’t regard my boxes clearly labeled fragile. Charged me for the use of “speed packs” without my permission. Accidentally took someone else’s furniture that was also moving and then charged me for the time it took them to give it back to them. Didn’t have tools, had to leave the new apartment to go back and forth to bring tools from the old apartment at their request. Left their moving blankets for me to discard. The list of issues is endless. If someone had just reached out to me I would have been more understanding but this is just unacceptable that I can’t get in touch with a person from the location to help. I see on other reviews that the reply is to call the customer service line. I will not be doing that anymore, someone needs to reach out to me because I am steps away from litigation. EDIT: The phone number they replied with still directs you to customer service who can’t do anything to help the situation. Customer service has already left many messages. The manager here just doesn’t call you.

Update: Calling the basic customer service yet again isn't resolving my issue, they're repeating the same basic lines no matter who I call to speak with (including today). Someone needs to contact me or I will take legal action to recoup my money. I called to get a quote for move services on 9/28/23. The agent on the phone quoted me $100 per hunk (team of 3) for the "truck & travel fee". The local move consultant then sent an email in writing stating that the "truck & travel fee" was only $50 per hunk. So their pricing is not honest and transparent. I called back to cancel the move after discovering the dishonest billing practices & was assured I would be refunded the $99 deposit since it was well before the move date. It has been over 30 days & I still have not received my refund. When I call customer service they refuse to provide a number to speak with the local office & the move consultant (Savana Garrison) is not returning any of my calls or emails regarding my refund. I would like my money returned to me as the move scheduled for 10/29/23 was canceled well in advance of the 2 day cancellation window (10/10/23).

Once again, these guys showed me again why I trust them for my business needs and now for my personal need.I have use them (and reviewed them) on several occasions. But when it was time for me to move my home from one place to another, I called them. They were great for my business needs, but with my personal move, they went to another level! Deshawn and Rico came and as usual, professional, courteous and just great young men! They wrapped and taped and treated my “stuff” as if was their own. They loaded and made the trip over unloaded in literally 2 hours. I cannot recommend this organization enough! If you need to move, your stuff will be cared for and put where you need it in a jiffy. If you have any moving, junk hauling needs…this is the call to make. Reasonably priced and just such a pleasant experience all the way around. Thank you Deshawn and Rico and College Hunks for providing me with the best service that I could ask for. I will never use anyone else!

Overall poor experience which is surprising based on other reviews, was initially quoted a much lower price per hour and then was called the day before my move and told it was going to be about $300 more than I was told. I needed to move the next day so I had to accept. was given a $50 voucher which I was appreciative of and wouldn’t have said anything but they also broke my tv, not sure at which point in the process that happened because no one warned me that there was any damage to the tv so it was quite a surprise to me when I just tried to turn it on and I had to leave a review. I bought all of the movers lunch, gatorades, and left a $60 tip, and Between the broken tv and the surprise extra charge right before the move Im now feeling like I got robbed out of an extra $600 dollars

We had a fantastic experience with College Hunks! Very nice & professional young men, respectful of our house and property. They were very clear about costs and time right up front, and we had no questions about what the price would be for 2-3 hours of work. I know some other reviews said the final price was higher than quoted, but I am 100% certain those folks didn’t really understand what was needed or wanted the guys to go faster than they were able to. Be honest about what you need and realistic about the time line! I would highly recommend our crew, led by Darryl. He was amazing, as was his crew. Great group of young guys who were friendly and worked hard. Eli in the office was also fantastic! Great job all around and would HIGHLY recommend.

My family and I moved from one house to another in the Tampa area. We worked with Alex to receive an in person estimate, and with Chris, Jarrett, Raymond and Makenzie to move. They were amazing and I would highly recommend working with College Hunks! I got three estimates before moving forward and College Hunks was the most affordable. Even so, they were extremely organized, professional, answered my questions leading up to the move in a timely manner, and the movers day-of were so incredibly patient and flexible while moving items that were not labeled or labels were covered up with packing pads and therefore some items had to be “re-moved” after I realized what they were. And they had such a good attitude about it! Highly recommend!

We needed to move from a 3rd floor apartment, 30 minutes away to a single story house. They gave us a 30 minute courtesy call to say they were on their way, and showed up on time. We had ALOT of furniture and boxes to move. These guys are machines!! They got EVERYTHING packed securely without a single scratch with room to spare. They stopped between destinations for a (well deserved) lunch break off the clock. They unloaded everything, asking us where we wanted things to be placed. The estimated time for the move from start to finish was 6-8hrs. They did it in 5.5hrs! Saved us a lot of time and money. College Hunks moving was the smartest "move" we could've made!!!

I used this company to move recently and was required to pay a fee to book the service. I paid the fee but that was never deducted from my total cost at the end. I also mentioned I had a $50 discount through my employer but that was also never applied to my total cost. I was quoted for three movers and only got two, my move ended up being 2 hours longer and they were 2 hours late. I have been trying to get in touch to someone to resolve this issue but I get thrown around, given various numbers and emails to call and no one is able to do anything. On top of overcharging me they are also wasting my time. Very unprofessional, shady and lousy. Never using them again.

The 3 hunks who came to my house were so awesome! I have 2 younger kids and a snake. They helped move the habitat while we carried the snake in our own car. One of the hunks pretended like he was scared of the snake and my little girl was scaring him over and over again. They were silly with my daughter and made her feel so comfortable. She even offered him a pop tart . I would definitely use the service again. I also would like to thank the hunks for being quick and efficient. I have use College Hunks services for business needs before, and called them when I had a need to have an item hauled away from my residence that would not fit in the bed of my truck. The online scheduling was very easy. The next day they had earlier availability, and the crew called to see if that would work. It did, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. Both members of the crew that arrived were very personable, and professional. They had it loaded within about 5 minutes of arriving. Payment was easy, and they delivered the exact level of service I had experienced before that lead me to make this company my initial go to.

We contacted various companies to remove an old shed. The ONLY ones who responded were College Hunks. Their booking system is convenient and easy. They were available same day but we decided to get them the next day. They called before they arrived, and they arrived on time. Cole and Jack sweated like mine workers in the Florida sun, and they did a clean, fast efficient job. They were courteous, pleasant, well mannered and a pleasure to deal with. These people understand needs and time frames. Absolutely recommend the company and especially Jack and Cole. Such marvelous work ethic. Well done boys.

The only reason why they get 1 star is because the movers were nice. A bunch of issues after the move. A bunch of stuff went missing and my Google thermostat got smashed... It's been over a month since the move and no one has called me about my complaints. We ended up have to buy all the stuff that went missing but I've called their CS multiple times about replacing my thermostat because that's $200 and I still have not received a call. I didn't even bother to mention the furniture they broke because they aren't going to do anything to fix it ...I would definitely not recommend them.

The crew that came out to clear out my apartment was Captain Mario. I think a better term for him is Super Mario. Moving can be a stressful and a difficult endeavor, but thanks to Mario and his crew this was the opposite. Despite my apartment complex handing them a pretty difficult obstacle to overcome he was able to overcome the challenge with ease. I couldn't think of a better person that exemplifies one of the core philosophies of College hunks, which is stress free moving. I can't thank him enough for all the hard work Super Mario and Dalton did for me. 10/10 would recommend.

Please be aware at the end of your move that the grand total is, does not include the initial 100.00 they have already charged you to set up the move. I was told that 100.00 was going to be combined at the end of the move in the grand total. So I checked my card and had the grand total that I was told by the hunk and an additional 100.00. I called Teo times to talk to someone and have waited about 30 minutes on hold. I asked for a call back from a Manager, both times I’ve been told I will get a call back with in 24 hours. Have used this company in two other moves but NEVER again.

Talk about taking some of the stress out of moving! We booked College Hunks on a Friday and in come Davonte, Keshaun & Isiodore the very next day to save the day. They were beyond professional, pleasant and respectful of our home. They carefully unpacked our 26' U-Haul in an organized manner so it would make it easier to find our belongings. I can't thank this trio enough!. As far as the company itself, it's obvious it runs like a well oiled machine. The staff made the whole reservation process a breeze. We hired the HUNKS for a full service move from Florida to Tennessee and we couldn't be happier! They came early Saturday morning to load up and were there by Sunday at noon to unload. Unlike the big moving companies where they hold your stuff hostage for several weeks. The quoted flat rate was fair and that was exactly what we were charged. Jayden and Chris, our Hunks, were both professional and very hard working. They took great care with our stuff and made this move as stress free as possible.

I scheduled a pickup through the website and it was easy and responsive well to my desired time slot. Got a call right away to confirm. The website gave an estimate of how much it would cost depending on how my stuff would fit how big section of their truck, quite visual and intuitive. And they did honor the estimate I got from their website. My tenant told me that they came on time and did their work very professionally. She was happy, I am happy. Will definitely use them again.

Great experience overall. Good honest guys that did a great job. They had worked big jobs earlier and even after long hours they worked hard and kept motivated and in a great mood. They covered and disassembled every piece of furniture and were very careful transporting and reassembling back with no issues. Every piece was left intact and just where we wanted. The price was very reasonable, as expected based on the original quote. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

We used College Hunks for our office move. Zeik and his crew were so fast and professional. They made sure they knew exactly what was being moved and asked questions when necessary. After watching them load things up I couldn't believe we ever considered doing it ourselves. We had some very heavy wood displays and they packed them and got them in the truck faster and easier than we ever would have. I would definitely recommend this company and Zeik and his guys.

I hired this company with a Google search for a last minute estate clean out. I can not express how easy they made this for us. We flew in from NY to FL and the job was too large for just my husband so I called and they were there the same day! It's also amazing all the services they give back to as well. Overall we could not have done this job without these hunks. They are amazing and hard workers and would recommend them to anyone!

This company is one of the most professional companies I have used. I made the appointment requesting same day pick up and they responded and had our items picked up within 1.5 hrs from the initial online request. Incredible young men who provided the service. The guys were great, Eric and his team were very efficient and fast paced. They handled everything with care and were up front and prompt with any issues or additional fees that came up. In regards to the fees, they made sure that we knew our options and did not “strong-arm” us into adding any extra services. They were very professional and made our move much easier on us.

The guys were terrific! My house was being painted at the same time they were moving household goods to a POD. They worked around the painters and did no damage to the area already painted. I scheduled a move and the morning of the move I was called and told there was no one available. I scheduled it for the date that I needed it. There is no customer service available. The call went to off shore where I was told I won’t get a deposit refund even though they are not fulfilling the appointment they scheduled. Beware

Did a good job of what they did move, but left a bunch of stuff in my old place without saying anything. I don’t understand that. Computer chairs, vacuums, a closet full of items, etc. would be 5 stars if they had moved it all. Yet also left trash from tape and cellophane all over my old place.
