I went to pick up a script (which I leave intentionally for a few months now) only to be told by the “delightful” pharmacist that she only dispense certain medications to locals. Well that did not go down well for her, as I know she is well known to be “delightful”. As I pointed out I AM a local with a chronic illness, I leave my script with the pharmacy. Then she asked where do I get the rest of my medication from. WHAT THE HELL HAS THAT GOT TO DO WITH ANYTHING? It shouldn’t matter where I get medications from. If I get medications here & other medications there that’s my business. If you’re not a local and need medications go to Emerald cause you probably either won’t get it or get some smart*** response. Support local business they say…yeah right

Although the staff are polite and courteous the Pharmacist herself (who I think is called Debra?) is an exceptionally rude and unpleasant lady both to customers and to her staff in front of customers. I was there this morning and the man in front of me was explaining that he had turned his ankle the previous day and was asking for some advice re painkillers or bandage supports etc...she cut him of mid sentence and said " not my problem go and see a doctor its nothing to do with me" . an absolute disgrace She was equally rude to her own staff member ,snapping at her for no apparent reason in front of customers I live in Cockatoo but I think i'll be taking my prescriptions to Emerald in future as I don't want to give this woman any business

Couldn't agree more with previous statements. Service staff are wonderful, helpful & friendly. They're job description is probably to be extra lovely to make up for the Pharmacist. She's rude, & extremely arrogant. I've seen her be absolutely horrible to several customers, & nasty to delivery men. All of which were totally uncalled for. The Male pharmacist however is always pleasent to deal with.

I won't shop at this Chemist ever again. The staff are lovely but the Pharmacist is an arrogant pig ignorant woman. I've seen the staff embarrassed because of this woman,how awful for them to have to work with her. I'll be frequenting the Emerald Pharmacy in future. It's not in any business owners interest to have rude and belligerent staff working for them. Her name is Debra.

I moved from Gembrook to Narre Warren but after visiting a local chemist in Narre i will never again hesitate to travel here for my medical needs. I i was treated simply as a number and was rushed and hurried but here they know me and take the time with all customers. Thank you.

The pharmacist's beligerent attitude hasn't softened since my last visit many months ago. Will definitely make this the last time I pay her to be rude to me. Not a friendly and knowledgable pharmacist, more of a bully. If you have to shop there just give as good as you get.

I’ve been going to this chemist for over a decade, even though it’s changed hands a few times, I’ve always found the pharmacist and staff, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met and nothing is to hard.

Lovely staff its a shame they are employed by a rude arrogant person How the chemist remains to be open is only because it is handy for the local people, myself I would travel to Emerald, will never shop there again.

Been going to cockatoo chemist for over 10 years now, great service amazing staff, good to be welcomed by name, warm and inviting shop no pressure to buy things you don't need, it the best chemist around …

Have never had a friendly or warm interaction here. Staff behaviour is disappointing. I understand people may have a bad day or be busy/stressed but some basic customer service would go along way
