For the first time in my life I’ve been driven to write a review, I am so frustrated! I came in because I needed help getting my overseas (UK) vaccinations put onto my Medicare record. I called ahead and was told this was possible and bought all the necessary paperwork. On arrival, the pharmacist told me that this “wasn’t within the scope of their work” and refused to help. When I questioned why, I got unsympathetic answers and no support. This is despite the government website stating that any registered vaccine provider can carry out this work, and being told over the phone that it was possible. I went to a different pharmacy and they went out of their way to help. They told me that some pharmacies don’t like to help because it is time consuming and fiddly to do. This whole experience was disappointing. This is a basic service which is important and in the public interest, even if it’s time consuming to provide.

After struggling to find a covid vaccine provider I was able to take in my father who was quite hesitant. Not only did they welcome us in, but they took extra care of my dad to make sure he was comfortable and feeling ok. He also commented on how great his experience was and that he was happy to go back see them again for any boosters. Thank you Clifton hill pharmacy! You have such caring attentive staff and have created a safe and inclusive space especially for those who are elderly and not fluent in English. We will definitely be back.

Great pharmacy, I’ve been going here for more than a decade and always found staff to be helpful, informed and efficient. It’s important to me we support our local community pharmacy which is an important contributor to the local economy in Clifton Hill. If we don’t support small businesses such as Clifton Hill Pharmacy we’ll be drowning in an impersonal and disinterested ruthless franchiser and I don’t think that’s the best outcome for customers and patients who come to know and rely on their local pharmacy

Pathetic pharmacy, spreading propaganda from the pharmacy guild for self serving purposes. Making the community afraid they are going to run out of medicine when there is no evidence of such a thing. Make it harder and more expensive to get medicine all so the OWNER can generate more profit. Disgraceful, will never return. I would rather support corporate pharmacies than this greedy pharmacy.

I'm writing this review because I can't believe some of the negative reviews here. I've been going to this pharmacy since 2013. This is a good pharmacy staffed by normal people, I promise you! There is nothing unusual about it! Sure, they may not have the exaggerated friendliness of McDonald's, but they tell me everything I need to know about a medication and all that necessary stuff.

I visited this pharmacy to obtain a prescription medication. Interestingly, the cashier assumed I was an international visitor and didn't request my Medicare information. When I inquired about the payment requirement, as I hadn't encountered a similar situation at other pharmacies, the cashier raised their voice, stating, "We are not a public hospital!"

A few days ago I visited Clifton Hill pharmacy. I was served by Olivia. She was extremely helpful and her smile brought a happy ambience to the store. At the time she was working with Katarina who was also lovely. The 2 of them are such a good pair at the Tils. I will definitely be visiting again.
